Food here is amazing! I got the creole rotisserie chicken and boy was it good! The Cabbage, Mac and cheese and Candied yams were some of the best I’ve had. Will definitely come back again!

Came across this place since it was by our hotel and so glad we did. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The fried chicken was well seasoned and the sides were so tasty. My friends and I still talk about the delicious gumbo - definitely the best one we have gotten on our trip to NOLA. They did seat us weirdly, 4 at one table and 1 at the next table over, even though there were plenty of big tables open. Other than that, we really enjoyed this place!

Google
Probably some of best fried chicken I've ever had. I felt blessed after quickly devouring my plate. I actually loved the deep flavor of their gumbo as well. The red beans and rice were excellent, and so was the mac and cheese. The food was top tier, and our server was great with the suggestions he gave. We made a reservation in advance, and was around dinnertime. I wish I could've experienced the original location, but this was a great experience for me and my friends. Make a location up in the New England area? Pretty please?

Google
Almost the same as the iconic Willie Mae's Scotch House but not the same. The food is awesome, about 99% the same. The service is great. The atmosphere, nope. Very plain and generic. Not the warm vibe in the original location. Still worth going...

Delicious food. Incredibly juicy and crispy fried chicken with some phenomenal cornbread and great mac and cheese. Plus an amazing bread pudding to finish it off.

When I tell you run, don't walk to this place...what I'm really saying is drive in a well air conditioned vehicle because it's hot in NOLA!! Either way, get here!! It does make the bottom of my top tier list and here's why. This is a spot that (on the night we went) caters to an early 20s to early 50s clientele (imo) atmospher-wise. But their food is for EVERYONE. It was a well-lit spot with amazing art, a well stocked & working bar, lots of tables, booths & lounge areas, and a DJ whose playlist was 🔥 AND LOUD. Chile ..the way I wanted to twist that volume knob. We finally just stopped talking at our table because it was hard to hear. I'd suggest calling when you make reservations to see if a DJ is included on your chosen date. Another reason it's in the bottom half is because, to me (& my table), the chicken was too spicy hot. We each ate small bites to taste, and left the remainder. Don't worry though. That catfish, shrimp and sides, hit! I. WANT. THIS. CABBAGE. IN. MY. LIFE. EVERY. DAY!!!&!! I've NEVER tasted cabbage this great! I could live on sides alone here. Get here! Come here! Visit here!! Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself!!! Thank me later! You're welcome.

I have been wanting to go to this restsurant for years! The vibe in this place in so relaxing. The calm brown, wood, and brick is inviting. I ordered the fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and butter beans. This was the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I have ever eaten! The whole plate reminded me of home cooking! I will return to this restaurant every time I come to NOLA!!

Google
I had a wonderful experience here EXCEPT the shrimp was salty as hell. I had a great sever, Jupiter, but, those shrimp, less seasoning because babyyyyyyyy. The chicken, the rice and butter beans and Mac and cheese were on point though.

Yelp
Very good fried chicken, may be a little spicy/peppery for some diners. Tasty candied yams. Excellent gumbo. Cool ambiance. Will definitely come back. Servers were pleasant.

Yelp
I have to say I highly recommend Willie Mae's if you a good meal and delicious cocktail with good music. Very clean and the atmosphere is very chill. Service is excellent thank you so much to Sinad for continuing to check on us and recommending a good drink after a long day. I ordered the fried chicken and butter beans. Absolutely delicious the chicken was freshly made to order and hot hot. So delicious. The butter beans have such a good flavor my taste buds were having a party. My husband ordered fried shrimp with Mac and cheese. Was perfect and we both had the colada. Was very good and ice water to wash it all down. The music was on point the entire time we were there and friendly staff. Highly recommend even if it's just for drinks and listening to music. We'll be back. *This review was from our visit in January 2025

Yelp
Same delicious fried chicken in a more modern and artsy location while the other is being renovated. Though dining in with no wait was an option, I decided to take mine to go. No more "wing special" so I did a breast and wing combo with fried okra bites. The food travelled pretty well and was good luke-warm, so I can imagine how great it would've been fresh from the kitchen. The server who took my order was pleasant and seemed eager to please. Ultimately, I would return again.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of trying Willie Mae's at NOLA Fest, and even though I didn't get to visit their actual location, the food alone made me want to go back for more! A bit of history, Willie Mae's Scotch House is a New Orleans institution, originally opened in 1957 as a bar before evolving into a beloved restaurant. Known for their legendary fried chicken, they've earned national recognition, including a James Beard Award. I ordered the catfish and potato salad, and let me tell you, it was worth every bite. The catfish was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of crunch, delivering that deep-fried perfection. And the potato salad? Golden, creamy, and full of flavor--exactly how it should be. The staff was so sweet and welcoming, making the experience even better. I definitely need to visit their restaurant to explore the full menu. 5/5 highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and the food did not disappoint. We ordered the fried chicken with red beans and rice, we also got the gumbo and the fried catfish. Everything was tasty, we wished the gumbo was bigger as it was pretty small, and the chicken was probably the best fried chicken we've ever had. Crunchy, juicy, flavorful, they hit the spot on every category. In terms of the service I would say it was just okay. This was the only restaurant that we went to that did not acknowledge the birthday note at all which was a little disappointing, also on the night we came it seemed like they only had 1 waitress working, and about 2 table bussers. It was hard trying to get our waitresses attention because she was on the other side of the restaurant helping out all the other customers, they definitely need more staff for dinner time. Overall would recommend if you are looking for some amazing fried chicken

Yelp
I recently had lunch at the newly opened Willie Mae's with my mom and daughter. We booked a table through the OpenTable app and were seated right away in a corner booth, which was perfect for us with the little one. The entire team was super attentive to our table, which made dining with a toddler so much easier. Our server, Kenneth, was amazing! He gave us some great suggestions for our meal, and I'm so glad we went with his picks. My daughter devoured her catfish nuggets with mac and cheese, my mom enjoyed the shrimp platter, and I went for the 1/4 chicken meal with potato wedges. It was clear my baby was loving it too--she was definitely giving me those "more, mommy, more!" cues! Overall, it was a fantastic and delicious experience, and I can't wait to go back! Just a quick tip! The meter maids in this area don't play, so make sure to pay for street parking to avoid a ticket.

Yelp
Willie Mae's is open again! The new location is beautiful and the service was good. Their fried chicken is still just as good as I remember.
google avatar

Yelp
James Beard Award for fried chicken? ABSOLUTELY! I just sat and ate the best fried chicken I've ever had. And with it an understanding of why this place was voted best fried chicken in the country. The original spot is currently being renovated after a fire so we ate at the business district location. Way more upscale and well dressed than a fried chicken place should be but the food still has that down home, family taste and it really is something special.

Yelp
This restaurant has a really nice decor, it's giving home-cooked food vibes. The gumbo was amazing and spicy yet savory never had anything like it. The chicken dish was the star of the show and I look forward to trying this again, when back in New Orleans.

Yelp
While visiting NOLA, i heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the famous fried chicken and was very disappointed. The chicken was not served fresh. You could tell it had been cooked and sitting in a warmer. It came with cornbread which was served the same way. I chose the butter beans and rice as my side but was not impressed with that either. The service was ok, rather slow considering there weren't that many patrons inside. The worst part was when I got my spoon with my gumbo, the spoon was dirty and sticky. I asked for another spoon and it too was sticky and dirty. At that point, i just gave up. I definitely wouldnt go back or recommend this place.

Yelp
On our final night in New Orleans we had to go to Willie Mae's. This is a place thats been on my girls hit list for some time. And Boy it didn't disappoint. Our server Sonaj was delightful and professional. Just a great southern hospitality service experience. Nice cool laid back modern atmosphere with great tunes to set the mood. We both had the fried chicken (of course.) and a few extra sides. The chicken and the egg appetizer was a perfect start to our meal. The fried chicken was flavorful and juicy. We had Mac n cheese, yams, and the best cabbage i think I've ever had. My girl drank the liquor from it like an oyster. For real this cabbage side was legit. To sum it up if you're looking for a chill, friendly atmosphere with amazing fried chicken and sides you gotta hit it up. Also the drinks are great too.
google avatar

Yelp
This location is not nearly as good as the old location except they have liquor now! Great space Good staff No more green beans Chicken cooked to order It was small pieces and not great

Yelp
A must visit if you're around! It's very worth it for the price. I got half a chicken with dark meat and fried okra. The chicken was super crispy, juicy, and hot. I did find the breading a little too salty for me. If you like okra, you'll like the fried okra. It's minimally seasoned and you still have that almost slimey texture of okra. The cornbread was warm and buttery! Everything paired well and it was a great experience. Our server was polite and took extra caution with someone in the group with a nut allergy. The food came out quick. The restaurant is huge and classy. Highly recommend coming!

Yelp
I literally cannot give them a five-star rating for one reason: wait time. We didn't have to wait to be seated, but we had to wait FOREVER for our food to arrive. Like, dinner took about 2 hours (no exaggeration) between when we were seated and when we finally got up to leave. I will say, though, that our server was friendly and did keep visiting throughout. She did keep checking on the food, but the kitchen was either having issues or was backed up or something. That being said... it was STILL worth the wait! This is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life, the exact same recipe, taste, and quality I'd come to expect from the original Scotch House location (may it reopen soon, please please please). I was crestfallen when I'd heard about the fire at the original location, but I was heartened by the news that they had already opened a satellite location in California! When I read that they were still working to reopen the original place, and had also expanded to Baronne Street, I was even more excited. The décor is chic and modern, which doesn't really fit the vibe of the original. But, you know what? I'm not that stodgy where I feel nothing can change! I dig the atmosphere, honestly. It still has a very laid back feel to the place, which maybe helped with our dealing with the wait time. Also, bear in mind we were there probably only a month after it had reopened. Every new restaurant, even expansions of existing ones, goes through growing pains when they first open. So, I totally make allowances for that. What's more, when the food arrived, literally everyone in our party was salivating over the chicken! It really is THAT GOOD! It wiped out the overwhelming wait time feeling with pure bliss. So, yeah, Willie Mae lives on in the new location. I just hope they figure out the timing issues sooner than later. I'd hate to see negative reviews for something that can probably be easily fixed with time and attention. Give it a shot, though, and you'll see why they've earned a James Beard award and numerous accolades calling it the "best fried chicken in America!"

Yelp
Good food, cold beer, Nice ambience, everything you need for a happy hour, but the waitress looks mad all time. ‍

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night while visiting New Orleans for my sister's birthday weekend. The food was absolutely incredible! Hands down, the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. I'm still thinking about it weeks later! We ordered a few cocktails and three dishes to share among the three of us, and every bite was amazing. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit stretched since there was only one server for the entire restaurant. Still, the food alone makes me want to go back--if only I didn't live so far away!
google avatar

Yelp
The staff welcomed us with open arms. Food came out quick and hot and delicious. I'll be back before my trip back to LA.

Yelp
I was beyond excited when I came across someone's post announcing Willie Mae s was back! This new location is definitely more upscale than the cozy restaurant we've all come to know and love. Everything was delicious. The chicken was still wonderfully seasoned with its flaky crust. The sweet potatoes! Oh my gosh, the sweet potatoes! They were out of cabbage, but the potato salad definitely made up for it. Ian, our mixologist, made this decadent, sweet potato-old-fashioned. You heard that right! And he topped it off with a marshmallow. I told him the only thing missing was it being toasted. He agreed. The music playing in the background was low enough to not distract from a conversation, but loud enough to make me jam and sing-along. Even though it's in a new building, it felt so good to be back at Willie Mae's! Until next time...

Yelp
We came for the chicken it didn't disappoint 10 out of 10 we'll come again! Service was great the Ambience is different from the original location but still great. The catfish was very good and definitely the 2nd best Gumbo I've had in New Orleans.

Yelp
The food and ambiance was fantastic and the best fried chicken in NOLA ! Definitely recommend

Yelp
This was the number one place i wanted to go when we traveled to New Orleans. I'd seen it highlighted on tv shows and internet videos before and everything i saw just made me want to try the food more. The service was spectacular, so helpful and very very fast. The new restaurant is clean and sleek and very comfy. The fried chicken was possibly the best I've ever had! The fries and potato salad were very good. I'm sad that such a place is so far from me or I'd be there once a week.
google avatar

James J.

Yelp
Aight The breading was very hard and not what I was expecting. More of a hot chicken vibe. The sides were pretty good though

Yelp
Best fried chicken you will ever have. The service is great. The staff is very friendly, get there early. Can wait to go back.

Yelp
We arrived at 8pm Saturday evening 14-December 2024. Assure we would get seated and served prior to closing at 9pm. Great! Or so we thought. We were a party of five. One order of Fish nuggets i am told were good. Chicken salad on another order was good, wishful thinking we probably should have gotten an additional order.instead of the 4-piece chicken in hind sight. We're waiting on cook to order chicken. I am anticipating mouth watering delicious I am a firm believer the entire restaurant experience from entry into the establishment to receiving dinner to dessert to getting the tab should be about and hour. It was just ok. The cook to order 4 piece chicken was too spicy for my taste buds as if they were trying to hard not everyone is a fan of spicy chicken, that is why the box store ask you? Spicy or mild. The atmosphere had me walking into the restaurant. Inquire about your food choices prior to ordering, that is my recommendation.

Yelp
We were on a weekend girls trip and was recommended this place by our taxi driver. He was absolutely right!!!! We went Sunday morning and the paid street parking is free on Sundays so we were already off to a great start. The hours said it opened at 11a so we were there a little early and to our pleasant surprise, the place was already opened at 10:45a. We were seated quickly and the ambiance was so cozy. A perfect brunch spot. The DJ was playing great music and it was just wonderful feel overall. We ordered our food, mixture of candied yams, grits, seafood gumbo, and chicken and waffles ...... I CANNOT EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW DELICIOUS EVERYTHING WAS! The food was served quickly and was hot and fresh! Truly this is a MUST!!!! The chicken is moist, flavorful and the skin is mouth watering. The grits were thick and perfect! The waffles were thick and soft!! The gumbo!?!!!! WAS GUMBOOOO!!!!! The servers were friendly and honestly, I'm planning a return trip just so I can visit this place again! Absolutely worth it!

Yelp
Fantastic chicken! Tastes like your mama made it, even if your mama made it completely differently (look, truth isn't always strictly logical). The food was wonderful - we had a 1/4 white, a 1/4 dark, with red beans and rice and butter beans for sides; everything was spot on good. Chicken has a perfect crust and crunch, which gives way to perfectly juicy meat beneath. Subtle spice which can sneak up on you. Cornbread and sides are a great companion. I went just in a few days after their "soft" opening last Friday (no advertising yet, etc) to check out the new digs. Christian at the bar was a gent, we had a good casual conversation. From our convo: OG Willa Mae's Scotch house is intended to open again still - this location is looking to bridge the CBD more-upscale restaurants with the residential neighborhoods it borders. I am wishing them luck out of sheer personal greed because the chicken is otherworldly. There were a few minor kinks being worked out as you'd expect in a soft launch (sides served with wrong dish, yadda) - but I would have gone a month later if I were going to stress that. Friendly and attentive service throughout. I'll be a regular visitor (and probably a frequent flyer with my cardiologist)

Yelp
Went there for a quick lunch ! The food was good and server was attentive. No hot sauce needed for the chicken , the pepper was kicking . Loved the Mac and cheese !

Yelp
Coming into town for thanksgiving. Have an airbnb not too far from here. The drinks are

Yelp
We had a lot of great meals in New Orleans but this was far and away my favorite. I had seen Anthony Bourdain proclaiming it was the best fried chicken he ever had, I know it has a James Beard award, when I say I was not ready for how good it was... I was not ready. But then the sides! Oh lord. The fried okra, the cornbread, the mac and cheese and the cabbage that tasted like thanksgiving and had me picking up the little tureen and drinking the liquid. Blown away. Over cabbage! Beautiful restaurant, great location easy to hop off the trolley at Howard and walk across the street. Our server Sanoj was so warm and welcoming. I will be back.

Lauren A.

Yelp
While the vibe has changed with the food ( more upscale that the original), thankfully the food remains excellent. As much as I enjoyed my fried chicken, I think I liked the sides even more. On both recent visits the service was absolutely outstanding, the best I've experienced in Nola, which says a lot.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Chicken as every crispy, nice portion. Sever was friendly and nice. Always checking on us. The Dj was great. Music was good. Great place.

Yelp
Omg! My first time trying this place and all ima say is I definitely wasn't disappointed so fresh so good the service was awesome! I def will be back if you haven't try Willie Mae's run !! And I love how they let you do reservations!! My server name was keesh I loved her

Yelp
Hubby and I went to this icon for dinner! The hostess was wonder, very inviting. Our waitress was very friendly. My husband was starving so he tried everything chicken tacos, white beans, fish bites, and fried catfish with crawfish etouffe! He enjoyed it all and needles to say was stuffed! I had the quarter fried chicken with cabbage and a side of sweet potato fries! This was the BEST fried chicken from a restaurant I have ever had hands down! Cabbage was a little sweet but cooked al dente, the way I like! Cornbread was superb! My sons tore those leftovers up! The esthetic of the restaurant was very chic! Great for date night or girls night! Definitely will return!

Jeff K.

Yelp
Willie Mae's NOLA is a good restaurant serving really good food, we had fried chicken and fried catfish. The fried catfish was very good as were the butter beans and rice side dish. The fried chicken was the best I've had for a long long time. The Mac and cheese side was ordinary. While our waitress was very attentive the service was slow coming out of the kitchen which our server apologized for before we could complain. It's got great ambience as it's a small restaurant with a very comfortable homey feel to it. A little more light at the tables would be nice. It's a nice local Restaurant where I paid the same for two full meals and 4 glasses of wine as I I did in the French quarter for 3 appetizers and 2 beers. Suggest you make reservations as seating is limited.

Chris L.

Yelp
The original restaurant was amazing, but the new one has absolutely terrible service. Went there on 2/16/25, ordered fried chicken and they ran out, but didn't tell us for over an hour. This is a fried chicken restaurant, so you'd think they wouldn't run out and would tell customers when they did.
google avatar

Mg Muni M.

Yelp
Food is very good but the bartender simes to be in onother establishment we waited for a very long time we finished our food before he even acknowledged us
google avatar

Marian M.

Yelp
I stopped by the new downtown location for a takeout. The food was wonderful--the chicken was slightly spicy. The red beans and rice were creamy. They are in a tourist area; I hope they don't tone down the spiciness. What I saw of the interior was smart/crisp/sharp. I saw happy people filling tables.

JK L.

Yelp
Waitress was ok but not overly friendly. It was not busy and food took 50 minutes to come out. Ridiculous. I know they just opened recently but had enough servers and workers. Restaurant is nice from the former Nola Caye. Food is mediocre. Cornbread needed sugar and bread pudding was too sugary. Watch for this: For $12 you get (3) HALVES of deviled eggs and bacon! 1-1/2 EGGS FOR $12!!! WOW! We were also OVERCHARGED on our bill. B E W A R E!!
google avatar

Renee Y.

Yelp
Excellent food, ambiance, and service. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We had fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, gumbo, and candied yams. Everything was filled with flavor!
google avatar

Alison B.

Yelp
Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. Especially the service. Such nice people! Don't miss the "I'm Good" cocktail, the gumbo and the deviled eggs with chicken bits and pepper jelly. The fried chicken brought us here and did not disappoint. Sweet potato fries and Cajun potato salad were delicious. It was a great evening.

Terri B.

Yelp
Five stars! Highly recommend! The same chicken I've always loved at the old location. Once again I felt like I had died and gone to fried chicken heaven! Gumbo so delicious that when I had eaten it all I wanted to pick up the empty bowl and lick it. And the praline bread pudding... no words for how heavenly it is. If you go ask for Regan. He was our server, and is a New Orleans ray of sunshine. Very lovely interior, and cool vibe in this new location. One of the best experiences I've had in any New Orleans restaurant EVER.

Harry L.

Yelp
The food and vibes were amazing. Loved the drinks and our bartender Christian was the best. Great recommendations on the food and things todo in town. We will be back before we leave town.

Natasha B.

Yelp
So today I walked into Willie Mae's Nola on Baronne in hopes of having lunch and celebrating with my family. I arrived at approximately 12:50 and was put down for a 1:30 reservation for 4 guests. The receptionist asked my name again at 1:05 to seat me. I told her my party wouldn't arrive til 1:15 so the 1:30 was still good AND there were 3 other parties already waiting before me. I asked did she call the wrong name and she insisted no you can be seated now the other parties are larger. I said okay cool well I'll get started with ordering our Appetizers and a Bottle of Champagne so it's here when they arrive. After a few minutes of being seated and scanning the menu the Very Rude Owner Kerry came over and told me that if my party wasn't there I'd have to get up from the table. I told her I was just seated and they'd be there shortly. I was literally waiting on the waitress to come to began my tables ordering. She said VERY RUDELY that the receptionist told me wrong and I had to get up. I'm not exaggerating, her attitude was straight NASTY. Now this is a Beautiful Esthetically pleasing restaurant that I was looking forward to patronizing. The Owners rudeness totally prevented that from happening. I got up and went back to the receptionist and asked her the Owners name and she refused to give it to me bc despite the lady's madness she's a loyal employee. I stood there awhile and observed this same lady be a complete Tyrant to her employees. Now I never ever give a bad review but this pissed me off to the highest of pisstivity. Not only was she rude and unprofessional towards me but her employees as well. Some folks really have no integrity with their businesses and don't realize that our dollars spend anywhere. This was disappointing to say the least. I've heard great things about their food but I'd never return bc of the horrible service I received today. Do Better!!!

Jee P.

Yelp
Not the same at all. Food tastes 100% different compared to the original location. Atmosphere is not the same. The lady who seems to be the owner has horrible attitude and rolls her eyes at you. My chicken was burnt yet soggy with no flavor. Butter beans used to be heavenly; this time I took 2 bites. Cornbread was dry. This is not the Willie Mae I remember. Makes me sad.

Jay E.

Yelp
This the best Nola chicken you guys talking about? First timer, Came in plenty of emtpy tables with a full staff. Had to go get a waiter after 30mins of being ignored. Got the food and got worst greasy, saltiest, darkesr colored chicken. By far the worst i meant WORST chicken ive tasted anywhere in i visted in the US. Ive gotten fried chicken from gas station 10x better than this. Just save the trouble and just go to POPEYES and save $$$ and a dissapointment. This place is all hype nothing more.

Trenie F.

Yelp
So, I decided to try out Willie Mae's for the first time and what a disaster. Upon arriving I was greeted by the host; I told her that I was placing a to-go order she directed me to the bar, where I was greeted by a bar maid, upon him asking me for my order I was trying to make modifications at first, but he seemed a bit confused as to what I was asking for, so I told him never mind and to keep the order just as it comes to avoid any further confusion. He walked back to the register and ring up the first order and sent that order to the kitchen(per him) when he returned back to give me the ticket, I said " I was not done ordering I had something else to add to that order, he said oh I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to put it on a separate ticket, with a confused look on my face I just responded ok, he then talked to another co-worker who showed him how to add the item to the first bill, he adds the new item, then handed me the ticket with both items. I then said OK I have another order; he said OK what will that be. I ordered a two-piece chicken dark meat with candied yams. He brought out the first order as I waited for the second. I looked in the bag the red beans and rice was not in there, so I waited until the next order came out, I say to him the red beans and rice was not in the bag, he said oh it should be in that bag(the second order) I looked in that bag and the Red beans was indeed in the bag, with no rice, and instead of the candied yams I ordered, I got cabbage. I'm assuming it was the manager that said oh that's an easy fix instead of apologizing, with an extremely disgusted look I waited for him to swap out my items, but in the process of him processing out tickets, I handed him my card which my order should have been $18.61 when I look at my slip before signing it was $43.78, so before signing I asked why was my ticket so high he said oh because all the items was added to one ticket, and walked away. the manager then came back and asked for my ticket but by this time the first ticket had been cashed out for $25.17, so now the manager takes my card back and said oh I'm adjusting your ticket, and you'll only see the $18.61. I grabbed my food to leave, but not before another patron stopped me to complain as well. Once I got back to my office, I look at my statement and saw that the original amount $43.78 was still a pending charge on my account. Although my experience was horrible, the place really looks nice and it's the area, however you all won't be there long in this area with that type of service. I am a person of second chances, so I'll try again, and hopefully it's wayyyy better. OH, and the food nothing to brag about, candied yams was full of grease or a really cheap butter, chicken mediocre. Signed, Not so satisfied customer

Yelp
This was just awful. We came in around lunch time and there was almost nobody in there. We were not greeted when we came in and sat at the bar. After we ordered, we waited 40+ minutes for our food. One of us was given the complete wrong order, and then we waited for them to remake the correct order (had ordered cauliflower appetizer and was given fried chicken and white beans). The fried chicken Caesar salad was lettuce, chicken and no dressing. One of the people in our party requested her food to go and her food was not given to us until after we had already been there for over an hour. For some reason, they had packed up all of our sides in her to go order and never gave us our sides with our food when we were sat down to eat. Nobody seemed happy to be there, and the vibes were just off. I will give them grace as they just opened, but this was not what we expected at all

Yelp
Horrible service, horrible food. Had to send the chicken back as under-fried. After waiting 45 minutes to be served.
