Best New Restaurants in Dallas July 2025 | Eater Dallas

"If you think Dallas doesn’t need another steak house, just wait until you meet Winsome Prime. It’s part of the trend we’re seeing in a rejuvenation at Trinity Groves — maybe it will stick this time. At any rate, this Houston export features dishes like Hawaiian rib-eye, snapper Orleans, collard green risotto, and chicken royale. The Dallas location also has sushi dishes. The space has a dark, cavernous look that’s signature to the Trinity Grove area (none of the restaurants here have windows, except the windows found at the exterior-facing entrances). The low, black ceilings and deep brown leather furniture add to the mystique, making it a great new romantic date spot." - Courtney E. Smith

All the Restaurant Openings to Know in Dallas-Fort Worth, April 2025 | Eater Dallas

"A Houston-born steakhouse that brings a celebrity-drawing reputation to a Trinity Groves location, positioning itself as the neighborhood’s only steakhouse amid a shift toward sit-down restaurants. The menu from the hospitality group’s culinary director, Jabril Riddick, mixes steaks with coastal and Southern influences — think Hawaiian rib-eye, snapper Orleans, collard green risotto, and chicken royale — and the Dallas outpost also includes sushi offerings." - Courtney E. Came with a friend for their happy hour and it wasn’t too crowded as we were able to find a seat opposite the bar. The restaurant was nicely decorated and our service was great! There are a handful of items to order for their happy hour and we settled on wings (double order) and the Dip (add crab) - I also ordered a Cesar salad. For drinks, I ordered the lemon drop martini and my friend ordered the sidecar. We thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and they’re priced nicely for happy hour. We received the dip but the crab was missing; however, it was still good - I’m sure it would’ve been better with the crab. The wings were your typical lemon pepper flavor. We were celebrating our birthdays (Scorpio season) and enjoyed a piece of cake! Overall, we had a good time and I look forward to returning to try their regular menu during dinner hours!

Loved everything about Windsom Prime. From the time you step into the front door, you are greeted with a warm hello. I worked a private event there in their speakeasy room and everything was just flawless. Layla the manager took care of everything we needed with such ease and professionalisn making the event run smoothly. Let's talk about our fabulous hostess Leeah and Alexis. They were absolutely amazing taking care of the guest offering the mini bar and appetizers selection. They assisted in all things needed for a smooth and inviting atmosphere. The FOOD was a 10 out 10. I highly recommend you to dine in or have your next small event at Windsom Prime. After the event some of the guest sat down for a meal because the food was just divine. We are looking to have another event soon.

What can I say? I tried this place with some friends for a birthday dinner, and from start to finish, it was a solid experience. We had reservations, so everything was set and right on time. The atmosphere immediately stood out—dim lighting, smooth vibes, and just the right energy for the evening. We were seated quickly and greeted almost instantly by our waitress. Now, let me pause here to brag about our server, Laila W. Hands down, one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She knew the menu inside and out, gave spot-on recommendations, and since none of us drink alcohol, she even worked with the bartender to create mocktails for us. Absolute gem of a server—she’s a keeper! On to the food. We ordered a few appetizers, which came out unbelievably fast—5 to 7 minutes at most. It felt like the kitchen was on standby, ready to impress. Here’s my ranking (though the top three were basically a tie): Truffle Fries The Dip Chili Glazed Shrimp Truffle Lemon Pepper Wings (skip these, wouldn’t order again) For my entrée, I had the double-boned pork chop with mac & cheese, bacon jam Brussels sprouts, and collard greens. That pork chop? Top three I’ve ever had. The mac and Brussels were excellent, but the greens didn’t make the cut—we sent them back, and the staff handled it without any issue. At the table, we also had the Spinach Stuffed Salmon, Snapper Orleans, and Chicken Royale. I tried all three, and each was delicious—especially the Chicken Royale. The General Manager even stopped by, checked on us, and treated the birthday girl to a slice of cake. The cake itself was just okay, but the gesture was appreciated. A few notes: A 20% gratuity is automatically added (clearly displayed at the hostess counter). There’s a dress code—nothing over the top, but it keeps the vibe classy. You won’t see anyone twerking on tables here; this is a grown-up spot. The staff’s attitude was excellent—not a single rude look or off vibe all night. On Saturday evenings, they even feature live performances, which made the night even better. Overall, aside from the greens, wings, and cake, everything else was excellent. Between the service, atmosphere, and food, I’ll definitely be back. Winsome, you’ve earned a new loyal customer.

I absolutely love this place! We came for dinner with friends and had a great time and had the best server, Laila! She was attentive and super sweet! The atmosphere was amazing and so were the drinks! I’ll definitely be back :)

Google
The atmosphere at Winsome gave off a great vibe. We came on a friday night and they had live music which was good. The Hawaiian ribeye was a nice twist on flavor. The lemon pepper wings were crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The Mac and cheese was probably the best item, very cheesy and not dry.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday and it was 10 out of 10. We did Winsome and left needing to Losesome (just kidding) the food was amazing! Very nice atmosphere and our server Alexis aka our new cousin provided stellar customer service! This is definitely a good place for a date night, happy hour & Sunday brunch. Reservations are highly recommend! We will be coming back!

Nice and New Upscale Restaurant. Visited for Brunch and will return for the Dinner Menu. Outstanding Service. Food.and Atmosphere. Ask for waiter Daniel and General Manager Tony, who checked to ensure we were pleased and all to our satisfaction. All was worth our first time visit and a return visit. Definitely recommend reservations to avoid waiting as well as dress compliance. You will not be disappointed with Winsome Prime Dallas.

Google
Tray is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was he welcoming and attentive, but he went above and beyond by crafting two specialty drinks that weren’t even on the menu. Both were absolutely delicious—creative, balanced, and bursting with flavor. His skill and hospitality made the experience unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Yelp
I arrived during Happy Hour on a Friday. It was a nice crowd and seemed to be the happening place. There was nice music playing. There were not many seats available in the bar area. The bartender was nice. The drink I order was good. Once the rest of my party arrived we were seated in the main dining area. The waiter was friendly and very accommodating! The manager came by and asked about our experience thus far. We order appetizers and entrees. Everything was pretty tasty! It was my birthday and I did receive complimentary cake. It was sweet but cold. My overall experience was great! I plan to dine or enjoy happy hour again.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere full of beautiful people! The food is a bit, hit or miss. My table loved the cauliflower app, but steaks were a little overcooked. Our server was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed with pacing service to our party of 8. Still, I would recommend for happy hour or a little girls night with friends. Oh, and there's a dress code. No sneakers or athleisure allowed.

Yelp
This is my third time here and I highly recommend. I like that they have valet available. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music. The food and service is consistent. 10/10. I had the Hawaiian rib eye which is seasoned well and flavorful. My favorite were the oysters. I loved the cake they brought out for my friend for her birthday. I will be back again.

Yelp
Nice classy style restaurant located adjacent to the once thriving Trinity Grove area. My dinner date was at night, so the dim lights and the fancy table settings were very romantic. The music was a little loud in the beginning, but was lowered just before the live music. Our server was awesome from beginning to the end, but not too familiar with the cocktail menu. My friend does not eat pork, but he was quick on making food suggestions from the simple menu. The food presentation was great, but the taste was just ok. My pasta dish was a little salty, and the "special carrot cake" was dry and tasted more like ginger, or a spice cake. The prices are pricing, yet pretty in line with those type of restaurants. Its's an experience, but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Winsome Prime, and it couldn't have been a better choice. We started with happy hour at the bar before transitioning seamlessly to our dinner reservation, which I really appreciated. The drinks set the tone perfectly I tried a classic margarita and later a Sidecar with cognac, fresh lemon juice, and agave. Both were well-balanced and delicious. For happy hour bites, we shared the truffle lemon pepper wings and crab beignets. The wings were crisp with just the right hint of truffle, and the beignets were rich without being too heavy. Once we checked into our table, we brought our drinks over and continued the evening with entrées. I had the double-boned pork chop, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor, while my wife thoroughly enjoyed her spinach-stuffed salmon fresh, savory, and beautifully plated. The entire experience was excellent. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the ambiance was warm and celebratory, and the food exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Winsome Prime made our anniversary feel special, and we'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Oh how I want to love Winsome Prime. Winsome Prime falls short for me and I just don't believe the hype. Turn off was too many rules. I will share later on. Also for 20% automatic gratuity I need service to match that. I set up dinner for a party of 4 people. I went for the restaurant week menu. I love supporting a good cause. This also gave me another chance to try them out after I went for the grand opening weekend. So here was a rule I disagreed with. To participate with restaurant week your whole table has to use that menu. Excuse me my aunt didn't want anything on this menu and wanted the regular menu. What kind of nonsense is this. I had to get the manager on this one. You still making money and why force one person to use this menu. Manager agreed to let her order from regular menu. The regular menu was available so this was baffling. Minority businesses need to do better. It's hard to support them with so many different rules. Im going to give the GOOD, BAD and UGLY. Good My waitress was sweet and friendly. She apologized for the wait. I think they are short staffed still. The collard greens were tasty. The crab beignets are delicious. Stuffed spinach was yummy. Bad Chicken Royale was not good. The chicken was so DRY. The mashed potatoes and sauce were the saving grace. I left most of the chicken. I really should have sent it back. 2 STARS Kung Pao Pasta This has potential, but with only 2 shrimp for the cost. It's not worth the price. This was also dry and the noodles needed more sauce. It was a disappointment. 2 STARS Ugly All the desserts were bad. Our table didn't like any of them really. The ice cream that came with each dessert was the best part. Carrot Cake was dry, but icing was good. Rum Cake just blah no flavor and boring. Bread Pudding ok but had much better. We did tell the General Manager the desserts need work. He came over to the table to check on us. I always think this is a great idea. When he asked us our HONEST opinion we gave it. The restroom had toilet paper this time so that was a plus. However, someone needs to check on it throughout the evening. It needed to be cleaned up. Overall it was an ok experience. The service saved this experience. They did have some live music and that was nice. I don't think I will be returning. For the price I can go to establishments that are really a fine dining experience.

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday dinner and it was 10/10. I loveee the Houston location for this restaurant so my expectations were high and they didn't disappoint! Drinks were delicious - across the table. Food was even more delicious. I tried the red snapper, lasagna, and Mac and cheese and loved every bite. In the past I've tried their steak, mashed potatoes, and broccolini which is also delicious. The entire table wanted to-gos even if it was one last bite! The vibe is perfect for date night or special events. It is both trendy and upscale at the same time. Lots of chances for photo ops. And last but not least the service is incredible. Mot only are the servers fast, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu - the manager noticed we were cold and even turned off the ac for us. Very much so for the girlies!!!

Yelp
Please remember to check the dress code before booking and attending! They are serious about the dress code! My friend was not in dress code but they quickly gave him a suit jacket! Not sure if this was his lucky day or the norm. But the staff gets an A+ for that! Great customer service! The ambiance was so beautiful, the most beautiful place I've been too! I wish I would have taken pictures but I didn't. Now to the food my table ordered four orders of the chilli glazed gulf shrimp, they only came in four and was $23. I think this was a bit overpriced for four but it was still clearly delicious! The chicken and waffles with yams was flavorful. There was nothing left on my plate! See yall soon! They gave us the rainbow cake for free and was flavorful and not overly sweet! Try it

Yelp
We visited Winsome Prime during restaurant week and I must say I will be a regular. Walking in, you immediately see the chic and sophisticated designs that carry through to the to the lounge and dining area. The music created a vibe where you can sing along while easily enjoying good conversation, drinks and of course a great meal. We didn't make a reservation but were able to get seats in the lounge area as happy hour was ending. The dining area looked really nice but it was definitely packed the whole time we were there. We ordered: The TRUFFLE LEMON PEPPER WINGS: They were seasoned well and delicious. I didn't get as much lemon as I prefer which worked well for my friend who in her words hates zesty wings THE DIP: The spinach and artichoke was so good. My only regret is not adding the crab meat. CHICKEN ROYALE: My friend said it was a 10/10 and only stopped herself from finishing it to make room for dessert! KUNG PAO PASTA: The dish as is was heavily sauced and a bit overwhelming for me. The manager was able to get the dish remade for me and I really enjoyed it. Both of our desserts were delicious but I definitely prefer the RUM BUTTER CAKE over the RAINBOW BIRTHDAY CAKE that my friend ordered. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying out other items on the menu- especially the brunch!

Yelp
100% recommend a cauliflower, probably the best item on the menu. and their martinis delicious. I made a mistake of ordering seafood as my entree and I do not recommend their snapper orleans which was very disappointing. the risotto was over cooked and extremely mushy. Our waiter was cooper, he was great and accommodating to our last minute party of 8.

Yelp
So I came back... for dinner this time! Their restaurant week deal was ridiculously good. They continued with great service. First Course: Chili Glazed Shrimp: 7/5 Crab Beignets: 5/5 Spinach Dip: 4/5 Truffle Lemon Pepper Wings: 3/5 The wings lacked the lemon and pepper flavors. It was like eating a plain wing with reminisce of truffle. Second Course: Kung Pao Pasta: 3/5 Lobster Mac n Cheese: 4/5 The pasta wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me. I was expecting more hints of sweet, but it was all savory. Third Course: Butter Rum Cake: 6/5 I tried Oysters for the first; I think they were fried. It was good, however, very butter. I wanted to try another, but simply couldn't.

Yelp
Let's start with the atmosphere. I love the look it has something for everyone's taste. If you love going to bars to watch sports come on down. If you love a quiet intimate dinner they got it. If you love enjoying a elegant dinner with a bunch of friends this is the spot. It's large enough to accommodate all of that. The lasagna was very good and the crab beignets were filled with lump crab not some filler with a little crab meat in it. It's a must have. The birthday cake was very moist and taste very good. Our table had the brussel sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, and collard greens for sides. The collards were cooked very well it was just a little to bitter for my taste. But the service was great. We went on a Thursday evening so it was just the right crowd for me.

Yelp
We started off at the bar since we were early for our reservation. The bar tender area was cool and the people sitting sr the bar conversed which was a surprise. Our reservation time was honored . We started with the Asian Sesame Cauliflower- and The Dip which was good . Main course -Snapper New Orleans - Stuffed salmon The snapper was good but the salmon was better over the risotto. The drinkers were delicious and the server was nice and knowledgeable. Definitely return to try for brunch! Oh and the live music that wasn't too loud was good too! The gratuity is auto added.

Yelp
Food: 4.5/5 stars Ambiance: 5/5 stars Service: 2/5 stars Overall Rating: 3/5 stars I came here last night for a networking event. Admittedly, the event was packed which possibly impacted the service I experienced. I stood at the bar for a while before being acknowledged, but again, it was packed. I didn't mind, however there were more barbacks than bartenders. That's a problem. More bartenders were needed. At long last, I was acknowledged and assisted by a bartender. My Old Fashioned was excellent and was on happy hour which made it even better! Happy Hour lasts until 7 during the work week which is fantastic. After getting a drink, my friend and I were ushered into the speakeasy. It was very nice. We sat and were immediately given a menu by the waitress. After about 20 minutes, we found that she never came back to us. She assisted other tables and even brought food to other tables WHO CAME IN AFTER US, but we were never approached to give our food orders. We even tried to flag her down, to the point where i got up to go after her. She was busy talking to other tables. While waiting to get her attention, the other server in the section entered the space and stopped him. He said that he could take our orders. At this point, it was about 30 minutes after we were taken to that section. We gave him our food orders and I ordered a smoked old fashioned. After about 20 more minutes, we had received our food but I was still waiting for my drink. A busser came in with a smoked old fashioned. I was waved at him from my seat to get his attention as I figured it had to have been mine. Four other ladies nearby saw me waving and started waving at him to get his attention. HE IGNORED US ALL AND WALKED BACK OUT WITH THE DRINK! I was irritated. About 10 minutes later, my waiter came back in with a tray of drinks including a smoked old fashioned. I just knew he was going to come to me after dropping the other drinks. NOPE, NOT AT ALL. He was RIGHT BY ME giving someone their check, I was waiting on him to finish to get his attention to make sure he gave me my drink. Would you believe that this "fool" turned around and walked back out with the drink AGAIN! WHAT THE ENTIRE EFF?! At this point I was pissed. I finished my crab beignets which were good and was about 1/3 done with my truffle fries, which were also good, and decided to try my luck at the bar. Back to the mob of people, waiting to get noticed at the bar. I eventually got my smoked old fashioned from the bartender and went back to my section. The waiter came back through the room and I flagged him to ask for my check and a box, and I let him know that I never got my drink so he needed to make sure it was off of my check. Would you believe that he tried to act like he did nothing wrong on why I didn't get my drink, making excuses about him and his coworker coming through carrying one and didn't know where it was supposed to go, like that was my fault?! I was pissed! I told him "I'll give you all a little grace because it's busy in here but I and others were waving at the busser to get him to see me and he didn't, and you were standing right by me and didn't give me my drink, and there's no excuse for that. Just make sure it's off my check as you NEVER gave me the drink I ASKED YOU FOR." Winsome Prime, Manager, Owner, Staff, you have got to do better. This was my first experience with your restaurant, and if I had to go off of this, I would most likely not return. Adding 20% gratuity for less than 15% worth of service is foul. Noted.

Yelp
My husband and I made reservations here for our anniversary! This is a beautiful sexy interior with cool artwork. We arrived 30mins early to partake in happy hour before being seated for dinner. I ordered the Side Car and a lemon drop . He got the sidecar and a margarita. The sidecar was by far my favorite! As appz we ordered the crab beignets and the truffle lemon pepper wings. Both were delicious! For dinner I ordered the stuffed salmon with a side of macaroni. Everything was so delicious and decadent. The macaroni had a strong garlic flavor but was creamy and the cheese pull was immaculate . They gave us a complementary butter cake dessert which was absolutely delicious. Served warm with ice cream and berries I'll be trying to replicate the recipe for sure! Service was great , there was a 18 or 20% gratuity ( I can't remember) automatically added but we added to it since we were so impressed . I will definitely be bringing my family here when they visit in October .

Yelp
Tried this restaurant on a Thursday night with two girlfriends. We had a 6 pm reservation and were sat immediately. There was valet available for $10 but at the time we went there was plenty of free parking. They also have a happy hour that lasts until 7 pm available in the bar area (we opted to bypass the HH because the full menu is not available in that section). The ambiance was nice. When we arrived they played 90s R&B and as we were leaving they switched to 80s/90s pop (I was jamming the whole time). The servers were attentive in the beginning. As the place got busier naturally we were checked on less. This was fine for us as we were near the end of the meal but I suspect there's potential for staffing issues. As for the food, I had the charbroiled oysters and snapper. The oysters were good and the snapper was decent. I was excited to try the collard green risotto but it didn't make much of an impression. It wasn't bad at all just didn't necessarily taste anything especially different about it. I also tasted the truffle fries and brussel sprouts. The fries are different in that they are very thick. One order is sufficient for multiple people. I liked the sprouts though they were a little on the sweeter side (one companion found them too sweet to eat). The rest of the items ordered included artichoke dip, sliders, and a ceasar salad. I didn't try these but they looked fine.

Yelp
Jerk lamb chops- that is all. I'm still thinking about them weeks later. Me and the girls decided to check out Winsome Prime and we thoroughly enjoyed their food. I went with the jerk lamb chops, other ladies got the stuffed salmon and the chicken royale. For sides we got mac and cheese and the bacon jam brussels. We overall really enjoyed everything and as soon as the plates came we were so into our food that conversation ceased. I will say that service was a little slow in the beginning and it took a minute for us to even get water. There were only about two servers in the entire place and while they weren't full, they were pretty busy. However, our server was great and very kind!

Yelp
Perfect location at Trinity Grooves. Birthday Dinner with the girls. Elegant-lighting is low, perfect sections for various crowds. Bar area with tables, live band nearby. An area with booths/table-more intimate setting. Large party glass window area. There was another area across from the large party area that I'm not sure what it was. Service- doorman, polite. Hostess were cute and helpful. The Manager, Rodrick I believe, came by to welcome us that evening. Serving was a little slow, however Im sure they are still adjusting to how booked they are. A few tables that arrived after my girlfriends and I were served rather quickly. We only had various salmon entrees and wine. Our server was very nice. Food- lemon drop martini...amazing. Highly recommend. A glass of cabernet and champagne...not bad. Caesar salad with salmon- a little too much dressing the lettuce became soggy. 2- stuffed salmon...delicious. Your salmon can be cooked to your liking. Now the complementary birthday cake wasn't to my liking, the cherry/raspberry sauce around it was delicious. But not going to say too much about anything free except Thank You. We will definitely be back to try some other items in the menu.

Yelp
Winsome Prime - Foodie Alert Honest Review My experience at Winsome Prime was a mix of highs and lows. Appetizers: The truffle fries and crab beignets were absolutely phenomenal--definitely a highlight of the night. I'd rate them a solid 10/10 and highly recommend starting your meal with them. Main Course: Unfortunately, the entrées were underwhelming. The chopped special was a disappointment--mashed potatoes were undercooked, lamb chops were overcooked, and the seasoning just felt off. We also ordered a couple of sides. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and well-executed, but the mac & cheese lacked seasoning and tasted like plain noodles with unseasoned cheese. Service: Service left much to be desired. We were only offered one water refill during the entire meal, even after sitting with empty glasses for some time. No one checked on our cocktails or offered to refresh them. What stood out most was that the GM visited other tables but completely overlooked ours, which felt dismissive. Ambiance: The restaurant is very nice and upscale; you can tell that they invested significantly in the decor and overall appearance of the establishment. Shoutout: The host, Cee Cee, was a true professional--warm, welcoming, and attentive. She may very well be the saving grace of this place. Overall, Winsome Prime has potential, especially with standout appetizers and great front-of-house talent like Cee Cee. But the inconsistent food quality and lackluster service make it hard to justify a return visit--for now.

Yelp
This new spot may be a new fav of mine. It recently opened so a friend and I checked it out for happy hour. Now this is how a happy hour should be - inexpensive food and drinks THAT ARE ALSO delicious and fulfilling. While I'll definitely be back for happy hour, I can't wait to check out their dinner as well. The menu looks phenomenal. The place is cute and classy and the servers are nice and personable.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday party and the atmosphere was a 10/10! The food was amazing, there were only small bites available since it was a private event. But I have to come back for those brussel sprouts! The service was not the best but the restaurant was packed so they may have been under staffed but I will definitely be returning to experience the dining for myself.

Yelp
Real snazzy! So one random day, we stumbled on this place.. and we just so happened to stumble in on their opening week! andddd now we're hooked! There's a parking lot, and it can be free.. but they share parking with the place next to them, so when that runs out they have valet for 10 dollars. There's a dress code so be mindful! Men have to wear a collar shirt and ladies it's not a club so look presentable. Grace and Cassandra were our bartenders, and they were serving up the drinks! I'll be honest.. they were good! But very pricey and they didn't really do the trick with getting me tipsy especially since I'm not a big drinker! The food was amazing just look at the pictures *drools* we really tried to try most of the menu but we were full from the shrimp and crab bites and our drinks lol! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
My first time there - blown away. So impressed from start to fork down. The ambiance, the decor, the crowd, the live music and even the DJ set. It gave grown, mature and just overall good vibes. I can't wait to go back for their brunch! Everything we ate was delicious, I kid you not. Those crab beignets were all crab, no filler. The sweet chilli shrimp were fried perfectly and the sweet chili sauce? Yeah they need to bottle it ASAP! Everything we ate, there were no adjustments needed. None. No salt. No pepper. And we cleaned our plates! Oh and that butter cake?! Melt in your mouth. Literally one of the best sit down meals I've ever had. Customer service was immaculate, our water Daniel was excellent! Once again, I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What can I say? I tried this place with some friends for a birthday dinner, and from start to finish, it was a solid experience. We had reservations, so everything was set and right on time. The atmosphere immediately stood out--dim lighting, smooth vibes, and just the right energy for the evening. We were seated quickly and greeted almost instantly by our waitress. Now, let me pause here to brag about our server, Laila W. Hands down, one of the best servers I've ever had. She knew the menu inside and out, gave spot-on recommendations, and since none of us drink alcohol, she even worked with the bartender to create mocktails for us. Absolute gem of a server--she's a keeper! On to the food. We ordered a few appetizers, which came out unbelievably fast--5 to 7 minutes at most. It felt like the kitchen was on standby, ready to impress. Here's my ranking (though the top three were basically a tie): Truffle Fries The Dip Chili Glazed Shrimp Truffle Lemon Pepper Wings (skip these, wouldn't order again) For my entrée, I had the double-boned pork chop with mac & cheese, bacon jam Brussels sprouts, and collard greens. That pork chop? Top three I've ever had. The mac and Brussels were excellent, but the greens didn't make the cut--we sent them back, and the staff handled it without any issue. At the table, we also had the Spinach Stuffed Salmon, Snapper Orleans, and Chicken Royale. I tried all three, and each was delicious--especially the Chicken Royale. The General Manager even stopped by, checked on us, and treated the birthday girl to a slice of cake. The cake itself was just okay, but the gesture was appreciated. A few notes: A 20% gratuity is automatically added (clearly displayed at the hostess counter). There's a dress code--nothing over the top, but it keeps the vibe classy. You won't see anyone twerking on tables here; this is a grown-up spot. The staff's attitude was excellent--not a single rude look or off vibe all night. On Saturday evenings, they even feature live performances, which made the night even better. Overall, aside from the greens, wings, and cake, everything else was excellent. Between the service, atmosphere, and food, I'll definitely be back. Winsome, you've earned a new loyal customer.

Yelp
Just wrapped up a great dinner at Winsome Prime. The decor is elegant with very tasteful finishes. Service is very friendly and attentive, perhaps overly attentive to some. For dinner we enjoyed the Oysters, Crab Beignets, Shrimp Cocktail, Salmon, Waygu Ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, bread pudding and washed it all down with a few side cars and lychee martinis. All the food was very well prepared. Andrew highlights- the old bay cocktail sauce, texture of the crab beignets, nice char on the asparagus, and the mouth feel of the mashed potatoes. The steak and salmon were well prepared, worth the money, but i feel comparable to any similar offering at an equivalent restaurant. We finished with a slice of birthday cake, complements of the manager. Will be back, would recommend.

Yelp
Went twice in one week! Let's talk about the happy hour first. It was ON POINT. The Crab beignets were my favorite.! I'm glad I got there early at 4 o'clock because it filled up pretty quickly to standing room only. I was there celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and we even got a birthday slice of cake which was pretty cool... I was full off of appetizers so we didn't get a full entrée which is more reason for me to go back a third time!

Yelp
I had such a lovely experience at Winsome Prime, a Black-owned steakhouse here in Dallas. I visited during Restaurant Week and enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal that really impressed me from start to finish. The food was exceptional! My favorite appetizer was the glazed shrimp--it was flavorful, beautifully plated, and left me wanting more. For my entrée, I chose the chicken from the prix fixe menu, which was cooked perfectly. I ended the night with the rum butter cake, and let me tell you--it was the sweetest finale. The service was just as memorable as the food. Everyone was more than friendly, and I even appreciated the personal table visit from the manager. It made the evening feel extra special. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and upscale without being pretentious. The restaurant is well-appointed, thoughtfully designed, and makes for a perfect night out whether you're celebrating or just treating yourself. Winsome Prime definitely lives up to its name--both winsome and prime. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu! [Note: a 20% gratuity is added to your bill.]

Yelp
The decor, aesthetic, and music are great. Where we found issues were the drinks and my meal. We ordered a mojito and a French 50. Both were subpar. I also ordered the Black Tie Burger with fries. It was supposed to be 6oz of Kobe beef. It seemed more like 4 oz. They brought me an additional patty but it was the same size. It was basically cooked well done because cooking to temperature for a burger so small and flat (basically a smash burger) is impossible. Also, the fries were more like potato wedges, which is fine, but label it correctly. I wouldn't ever order that again. We also had the Orleans Snapper. It was great. Overall, I wasn't that impressed.

Yelp
Winsome Winsome Winsome! I want to start by saying the service was out of this world. Upon stepping foot into the resturaunt to sitting at our table! Amazing and very attentive. Now food, I ordered the oysters & sushi along with an espresso & lychee martini! The lychee martini was everything. Extremely smooth very tasty. The right amount of sweet etc. The espresso martini was a little watered down but nonetheless was pretty decent! The oysters were considered charred but could have stayed on the grill just a few moments longer to come out with the char heat and temp outside of that, I will be going back to try a few more things on the menu. So far so good

Yelp
I had heard so many good things about this restaurant I had to give it a try and I'm glad I did as it did not disappoint. All posts are about their dinner but they also just started brunch which is what we had. Everything was delicious. Service was amazing and the aesthetics of the restaurant was flawless. I've already made dinner reservations!

Yelp
Impressed with this spot. The atmosphere is dark chic and cozy like it's giving NY supper club. R&B music plays over the speaker. I ordered chargrilled oysters, a New Orleans fish dish, with a French 50 (not 75). Everything was delicious. There is a dress code. The automatic 20% gratuity was off putting but thankfully the service was still good.

Yelp
I was impressed from the minute I reached the door all the way until it was time to leave. The service was superb, it was beautiful on the inside and the ambience was excellent. I ordered off of the restaurant week menu, which was my only mistake. Normally, when I try a restaurant for the first time, I only order appetizers, or one entrée, but because it was restaurant week, I ordered off of that menu thinking that I would get a nice sampling for a value. I should have ordered off of the regular menu as I normally do as the restaurant week prices were not much of a savings and the selection was very limited. I opted for the chili glazed shrimp appetizer, the truffled lasagna, and I wanted the rum cake, but they ran out, so instead I opted it for the rainbow cake, which was just OK. The truffled lasagna was just okay, and m the meat tasted slightly burnt. I should have instead opted for the spinach-stuffed salmon. The drinks were really good. I opted for the martini tree, and it was such a spectacular site. I definitely will go back, and try options like the stuffed salmon and the macaroni and cheese.

Yelp
Everything was amazing. Once we walked in everyone was so nice. We went out to dinner for our anniversary. The inside is so nice. They had some amazing music playing. Our waiter was very knowledgeable he provided us recommendations one in which my husband took. The food didn't take long to come out. Everything was fresh and hot. The GM even came over to check on us which was appreciated. They even surprised us with a cake for our anniversary. I will definitely be back again. The only thing that I didn't really enjoy was the Mac and cheese. But other than that everything was amazing and very clean.

Yelp
Location Trinity Oaks-white building Parking Large lot, valet for $10 Atmosphere Very classy Seating Large bar area with padded seats, large hi tops for groups of 8, sofas and lounge chairs, formal dining room. Serve Outstanding! Friendly, immediate! Great teamwork! Menu Fantastic happy hour menu-drinks and food-great prices, 3-7! We were just in for drinks but all those Round us had amazing servings. Large iced bowl of oysters (server said-be sure to tell me how they are), fries were cut almost like an apple peel! Not thin but not steak-in between. Everyone looked happy! Summary We were at Trinity Groves for a work party and wish we had held it here. Competitive happy hour menu. Very classy restaurant-rolls Royce coupe out front! Most patrons were dressed very nice. I really loved Winsome Prime and can't wait to return!

Yelp
This place has a date vibe to it. We saw a bunch of people on dates or large parties. I went here for a girls night out. The service was okay. It did appear has our server had too many tables but he was nice. The food was meh. The truffles were thick and huge portion for the whole table. The dip was just okay. The collard green risotto was underwhelming. The oysters were good. My friend ordered the snapper and it seem to be fine. The Brussels sprouts are very sweet. I can't recall what my friends said about the drinks. It was just an okay place - in the middle

Yelp
Went to Winsome Prime last night for my birthday dinner with my partner and was turned around because my partner had on a Versace t-shirt. The restaurant is business casual so guys must have on a polo or button shirt. We ended up going to our old faithful Nick & Sam's where we didn't have no problem having dinner.

Yelp
First thing...shoutout to Cooper!! The best waiter ever. Cooper was kind, attentive and engaging throughout service! There is a huge parking lot with ample spaces. The music and ambiance created a great atmosphere. The music isn't loud so you can easily hold conversation with table guests. We all LOVED the food and will be back asap

Yelp
Food, Service and Ambiance were top shelf. It's was missing one thing. Bread. In the south,You can't have collard greens without cornbread. I had the salmon. And it was perfectly prepared. A piece of gourmet bread would have completed the meal. Additionally, when the 20% tip is included, it would be classy if their was no place for an additional gratuity on the receipt. I spent over 400 for 5 people and have no regrets. Great place. Great experience.

Yelp
The ambiance is great, Service is okay could be better I ordered the Hawaiian steak, it was over cooked very very salty. The potatoes were also salty and dry. The side of Mac cheese was tasteless. I reported my concerns to the sever he told the manager. It took the him 20 mins to come to the table, instead of fixing my ordered he told me that they copy Houstons statehouse recipe...wtf does have to do with my food!! My total for the above plus 1 cocktail that was great was $115.00 they add 20% tip automatically. I won't ever come back. Please do better. I took my food home and fixed it.

Yelp
I love the experience I receive when I visit winsome. The live band nights are my favorite. The food is delicious and that bread pudding is to die for.
