I’ve been going to Winston Pies for a while now, and I’m always impressed with their creative ingredient combos. The fruits and fillings are always fresh, and the crust is just perfect. Each location I’ve visited has a unique and thoughtful design that fits the area. The staff are super friendly and clearly well-trained. They make you feel welcome and are always ready to help. I recently checked out their new spot in Studio City, and it was amazing. There’s a lovely outdoor area where you can enjoy a slice of pie with a freshly brewed coffee. The decor is charming, and they have a great display of all the pie options they’re famous for.

Cherry pie like I've never had 🥰. Key West lime pie was tart and sweet, unsweetened whipped cream could have balanced it perfectly, but delish nevertheless. happy and competent service...as the one server making our cappuccinos said (something like this...) "its hard to be in a bad mood when serving pie" This was a pricey treat. A whole pie is 59. But any of the fruit pies would be worth it - esp if you're asked to bring dessert to a dinner. Gluten free crust with pecan pie. 🥧

These are excellent pies. Exceptionally good crust, filling and execution. They’re so good that even though they aren’t cheap they are worth every penny. This place serves pies that taste like I imagine them to be. Most pies don’t do that. I don’t do a lot of reviews but I want to make sure people try this place, it deserves our attention.

Best cherry pie that I have ever had! Really, the best! Far and away the best! Crust was perfect amount of chewy and flaky. The filling was the perfect mix of sweet and tart. Lots of cherries. If I lived here, I’d go broke on pies!

Was a little shocked to pay $10 for a single serving of pie, but then I took a bite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store itself is clean, organized and professional looking. The pie came in a very cute personal box that made it very easy to eat. I live in Anaheim, but will be stopping by this shop the next time I am in the area.

No doubt the best pies in North America! Did not expect that a small triangular box can carry so much happiness with every bite! The Pecan and boubac pies are to die for! Coffee is also so good and the ladies inside the store are wonderful!

So my husband does not generally like cake. Not a fan. So he's a pie guy. Until I learn to really bake a pie, thank god for Winston Pies. Probably the best place to try new pies on the planet. Literally everything is amazing there. Service is great. Environment is pleasant. Parking is extremely limited but omg, sometimes we find our way over there for absolutely no reason whatsoever but for the love of pie.. Enjoy!

Came across this pie shop during a walk. No parking available, just street parking. We got the Key Lime pie and Apple Pie. A classiqüe Service/Price/Ambiance: $20 for two slices ‍‍ (shareable). The service was what you would expect at dessert shop. The cashiers were kind. The shop was cute and very close to UCLA area. Key Lime Pie: It was good and fresh. I wish it was more limey and sour. The crust was a bit too crumbly in my opinion. The texture was on the starchy side but still very creamy. The pie was about the size of my toddler's hand. I would rate this a 7/10 as it's a bit over priced for the size. Apple Pie: We ate this the next day so not sure how it would taste fresh. We air-fried it the next day. The apples were crisp and tart but, hoped had more apples instead of the sticky sauce part. Not sure if it was worth $10 a slice. Worth a stop if you live close by or if you're feeling boujee.

Winston's Pies is an amazing dessert shop! A favorite of my family. We have tried many of their pie flavors and they have all been exceptional. Favorites would be the Carolina Classic Cherry Pie and the Chocolate Cowgirl. Also, my sister tried the pecan and said that it was probably the best that she's ever had. The staff is always friendly and the setting has a nice, hometown feel to it. Did I mention the pies though?!! :). They are fantastic!!! If you are looking for a quant, nice dessert shop, with an excellent product, you absolutely can't go wrong with Winston's. Highly Recommended!!!

My husband discovered Winston Pie and knew all about this bakery. He loves both pecan and apple pies, splurged and bought both! The apple pie was pretty good, the crust actually made this pie, absolutely lip-smacking delicious. The pecan was good, very sweet but I love a good pie and savored every bite. Looking forward to my next pie adventure at Winston.

Delicious bakery! My partner and I had a craving for some amazing dessert and stumbled upon this gem of a place. As soon as we walked in, we both commented on how cozy and welcoming the place felt. While it's not a huge place, there is plenty of seating for anyone who rather sit and enjoy their dessert rather than leaving which is exactly what we decided to do. I ordered the apple pie while my partner ordered the chocolate pie. The apple pie slice I reviewed was amazing and we asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side which just packed the plate with more flavor! My partners chocolate pie was so delicious! It tasted like a smooth brownie. The consistency with the scoop of ice cream just made the dessert even better. The staff was super nice and attentive. We enjoyed the conversation we had with them and everything came out really quickly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is a lover of pie!

Had been wanting to visit for a long time. 1st time was too crowded to wait. Parking in back but it's valet. Got a $9 slice of cherry pie. Was already sliced and was already boxed. The absolute worst slice of pie I've ever had. Cherrys were mushy and practically tasteless. Dry crust. Not in the least sweet.

The pie slices were delicious! The key lime in particular was a stand out for me, with a perfect level of tartness and sweetness. I could eat a whole block of the graham cracker crust by itself. I'm grateful that the staff was friendly despite how close to closing we came in. The space has a few indoor tables and one outside. I'll definitely be back to try more.

I'm still a big fan of Winston Pies, but I just tried the pecan pie and it was way too sweet. Would not recommend this flavor. They're open again for indoor dining at the Brentwood location, and service is friendly and welcoming.

One of the best pie places! I've had their banana cream pie and key lime pie and they're both amazing! One slice is never enough... not only is the flavor on point, but the texture and consistency is on point too. They are a bit pricey, but it's 100% with it. Sad they don't have a location in Orange County.

WHEN: Friday @7pm PARKING: Apparently they have their own parking in the back which I didn't know. I ended up parking on the other side of the street across the way where the neighborhood was. We were the only one at this super cute shop. There's a bit of both indoor and outdoor seating. There's a menu on the wall but for some reason not all the prices were listed. The staff member on the other side of the glass explained what each pie was and we ended up going for: WINTER BERRY CRUMBLE. - MINI - $12 This 5 inch mini pie apparently serves 2-3. It was so tart. I may have not listened well...she did say blackberries and cranberries. This choice was bad. The oat crumbles were good but I rec getting this a la mode (+$3) cuz I didn't. Over priced and overwhelming. COOKIES 'N CREAM - SLICE - $8.50 Housemade Oreo crust and cookie in a light creamy filling. Okay this one was really good! So silky and yummy! For all those cookies n cream fans out there. So I totally did not expect my total before tip would come out to be like $24....for 2 pies!?! I had to ask to double check but it all checks out. The mini pie slice was way more expensive than I thought but apparently it feeds 2-3 people. This total also includes a Health and Safety Fee and LA County Sales Tax. Then we have to tip. Jesus. I'd come back though but for different flavors and the cookies n cream again.

I'm not even a pie fan but this place sure converted me. They had bite size pies, slice pies, mini pies, and full on pies. So many choices and they even have seasonal pies. Oh and they have a few gluten-free options as well. We came in on a late night and some items were out but for the most part they had most in stock. I ended up getting a bite size Carolina Class Cherry Pie which was delicious and such a fun size. And I also got their mini size of their popular Harvest Apple Pie with some ice cream. The crust on this pie is to die for and the apple pie filling was oh so good. Oh, and they also offer Mcconnell's vanilla ice cream. Both went together perfectly and was amazing! My only regret was we didn't get more to take home. The girls behind the counter were really nice and answered all our questions. They take pre-orders but no over the phone orders. We will definitely be coming back.

Everything was great all the way from my entrance to the exit. The ladies were so very kind to me and kindly informed me of the selection they had. I got the pie bites which was delicious. The area was very neat and calm. I loved the music and the blue decoratives. Thanks again to Emily, Emily , and Cat ! Will be coming back again for coffee!

Great pies and great service! Super cute seating and very clean tables. Stumbled upon this place after eating at Pizzana and I don't regret the extra calories. We got the key lime and chocolate chip cookie dough pies. They were both delicious and I will definitely be back!

I tried their Fall Pumpkin pie and it was great! Not too sweet and the pumpkin flavor is just the right amount. I am not really a pie person, but I would like to try more pies from them!

The pie is good, but I have to say the prices here are way too high. You can get more bang for your buck at many other places in LA, including a multitude of great Southern restaurants and dare I say even what you can buy at Costco. I mean if I'm paying close to $10 / slice of pie after tax and tip, I really expect it to be mind-blowing. We had pecan pie and the cherry pie--again they were delicious but not for the prices we paid. Winston has been on my list for some time, so I was quite bummed out to realize it wasn't what I had hoped.

When I came here about a year ago, my biggest regret was that I did not take any photos. So, here I am, taking pictures and again savoring these delicious and unique selections from Winston Pies. Like last time, I went for the mixed berry. This offering was with an oat meal crumble (previously, it was with a cobbler topping). We also had their cookie dough favorite that came with a chocolate chip crust. Both pies were ordered a la mode. Then a slice of southern pecan pie to go. What can I say that I have not said before? Their pies are innovative and meticulously crafted and baked daily. The fruit filling is fresh, has a refreshing taste and maintains its texture, color and flavor. Service was excellent. Once again, a memorable and sweet visit to Winston Pies.

Winston Pies knows how to create irresistible desserts, and their Chocolate Cowgirl pie is a standout. Trust me, their version is unmatched by any homemade attempts. The combination of the rich chocolate and the sweet and salty oat crust is perfection.

I stopped in for a food delivery and decided to treat myself to a piece of pie. I ordered the cherry flavored pie. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and plenty of real cherries! I definitely recommend it!!

Delicious and unique pies! Thrilled there is finally a Valley location. NOw we don't have to shlep to the Westside or elsewhere to enjoy one of Winston's delectable pies.

This place satisfied my pie fix, but it's not something I would go for if I wasn't specifically craving pie. The place is very nice and clean, and they have a very creative selection of pies. However, the pies for very sweet, and they were very pricy. I was so hopeful for the cookies and crème but it was so sweet that I could not finish it. I wish this pie was lighter and less sweet. The coconut custard was decent, it was less sweet but I could not have finished a slice. I did enjoy the chocolate cowgirl hand pie the most. I would maybe come back for a slice of the chocolate cowgirl, but I would have to be really craving this place.

Delicious pies, coming from a not pie person. Least favorite was the berry. I believe it was gluten free but too berry forward if that makes sense and it was the only pie our group didn't want to finish. The chocolate was the best. Prices are expensive so be ready, but it is something nice to splurge on every so often or as a nice gift to someone. About $13 ish for each one below. I think they have "bites" for $6 or so but all were sold out. Was relatively quiet on a Saturday night which is what we were looking for. They do run out of certain things by the end of the night so be aware.

My friend and I recently tried Winston Pies. I got a slice of the seasonal cookies and cream and she got some kind of chocolate pie. Hers was pretty good but very rich, and mine was pretty good. I didn't find either pies to be something I'd come back for - they were more expensive than I would have imagined at $8.50/slice and a whopping $59/whole pie. We also got vanilla ice cream on the side, which I think I enjoyed more than the pie. If they lowered their prices and the crust was softer and flakier, I might reconsider. Not a bad place to go (especially if you're a pie lover - I do like chocolate and berry pies quite a bit but would say that I would go for a chocolate mousse or chocolate cake option if given the choice), but just wasn't necessarily for me.

I just want to snatch this store up into my arms and hug it and squeeze it. It's a pie shop and it's darling. I've long wanted to visit (as it was right in my neighborhood, and I love pie), but honestly I was turned off by the early reviews of unwelcoming vibes. How can a pie shop be unwelcoming?! But if it was true, my heart wouldn't be able to take it. Pie shops need to be....well, sweet as pie! It didn't give sweet granny vibes or southern comfort vibes. Rather, it gave more Nancy Meyers vibes. Now that's my kinda vibe! And PS I didn't get ANY sort of unfriendly vibe. Come have a delicious slice of pie @ a stylish Brentwood pie shop. Even the packaging is tasteful. Bonus: These calories don't count! No, they do not.

My husband got these pies to go. I have heard great things about this place, BUT I GOT A SEED from the CAROLINA CHERRY -- Such seed that if your tooth hit it the right way and the right force you could crack your teeth. BE CAREFUL!!!!! Let me say this again -- YOU COULD CRACK a tooth. I am so surprised since this establishment presents itself as such a high quality place. I was careful to eat the other pies and made sure there were no seeds!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Meh. I went in for the first time for a couple of questions and decided to take dessert home. I chose the $12 small apple pie and was really disappointed. The bottom crust was tasty, but not much filling at the top (more like air) and the apples were dry. Maybe I should've purchased a slice of another flavor instead of the one in the metal tin pan. More satisfying maybe. I'll give it another try by trying something different next time. My spouse said, "Where did you get this? Definitely not worth $12."

This is going to sound harsh, but I like Costco pies better. It's a unique place but I feel it just wasn't that good. My friend and I tried 3 different slices. As this is an aged review, I only recall Apple as one of them.

I love the pies here. I'm sure all of them are good but the chocolate cowboy, pecan, and crumble are my favorites.

Ordered from here on multiple occasions and love how reliable and consistent the pies are. I do find that it's bit too sweet for me but with homemade whipped cream, it's really great and cancels out the sweetness. What I had so far: Key west lime pie: 8.5/10 highly recommend if you like something tart Chocolate cowgirl pie: 8/10 nicely rich and decadent Carolina classic cherry pie: 7/10 taste is fine, the cherries could be stewed for longer Southern pecan pie: 9/10 everything you want in a pecan pie :)

Wow! Stopped by and tried their chocolate pie and it was delicious! I've been on the hunt for a good chocolate pie in LA, and this place really hit the spot. Their chocolate pie was baked, brownie-like, and extra fudgy. The chocolate was so rich and flavorful and the crust was perfectly flaky. The inside of the shop was super cute with good ambiance. Street parking was easy to find by the shop.

I ordered two pies. One slice and one mini pie. They were not fresh and the crust was disappointing. Tasted like a pie that had been sitting around for some days. The pie was oily and flaky, not doughy at all. Felt like the crust was fried first. Pie taste was ok, not amazing honestly only slightly better than a pie you'd buy at a supermarket. The fees were ridiculous!! If you order online, they tack on another $1.00 for placing your order and another $1.85 for health and safety charge. All bogus and an insult to the customer.even if the pie was better, with those unnecessary charges whereby they exploit their customers is an immediate turn off. I won't be going back. Sweet lady Jane on the other hand to which I've been 3 times, is amazing.

4.5* review A little overpriced but the pies were delicious. We got a slice of the new peach pie which was tasty. My bf really really liked this one. I got a mini pie of the cowgirl chocolate pie which was so good. This was by far my favorite one. It was creamy in the center and had an almost pudding texture. My bf who doesn't even like chocolate really liked this one. We also got an extra slice of the cherry pie. I didn't care much for this one but my bf enjoyed this. He's already wondering when we'll get more pie so I suppose we'll be back soon! Maybe try the pecan pie next time.

Really friendly staff and really delicious pie. I'm not a big fan of fruity pies (blasphemous, I know) but I do love indulgent sweet pies. Winston Pies has one of the best I've had thus far in LA. The Chocolate Cowgirl is BOMB. Beyond bomb. It's basically a chocolate chess pie with their own small spins onit. So incredibly thick and rich with a fudge like texture. If you're like me and chocolate obsessed, you will just love this pie. It's a must get! Current pricing is $52 for a full size pie, $10.50 for an individual pie and $8 for a slice. They have pie bites which I'd love to try in chocolate form, as well. I will absolutely be back!

The piece of pie I had was the cranberry/blackberry. For all the high end ingredients that went into it, I found it flavorless. When I walked in I was the only person in there except for the two young ladies who were working there. They offered the bare minimum of service. It was as if I was interrupting their peace and quiet. Then when I went on their website when I got home, it felt cold and calculating. It looks like they care much more about acquiring investors than they do about caring about their pies. The entire experience felt hollow. There's no need to come back.

Had a massive craving for pecan pie. Winston's was tasty and satisfying. It's now my "go to" pie shop. Delicious.

I went here for the first time because I wanted to check it out. I got different pies and all of them were very tasty I will find my way back here again soon. Nice and fresh pies!

I love the pies here! My fave is the Carolina Cherry - loaded with the biggest, most plump, dark, sweet cherries, in an impossibly flaky-crispy crust. None of that goopy fake red cherry filling nonsense - real fruit, and not overly sweet. Also delish are the Chocolate Cowboy - like a soft gooey brownie in a granola crust, and the Key Lime - perfectly tart-sweet. The cute pie bites are for crust lovers! Satisfyingly crusty & caramelized, cookie-sized. The hand pies are good for crust lovers who like a little more filling. A mini pie gives you more filling than the hand pie, but still with a good amount of crust. I like the slices of whole pies bc I like the filling the best, and short of getting a whole full sized pie, this gives the most filling. Whatever your pie preference, you're sure to get what you want here. I only wish they had a savory pot pie too!

No pie is worth $66. It's good, yes, but its not three times as good as a pie from Marie Callendars or six times as good as a pie from Costco. Even if you're filthy rich, it is unjustifiable to pay this much for a pie. Also, you know, I bought one from here about 8 months before all this inflation business and it was like $55 or something out the door. So if inflation was 10%, you'd expect the pie to be like $60. And its not like the second pie I got was some special version, it was a basic pie. So I think they're capitalizing on inflation. Anyway, I digress. Sorry, Winston. Great pies, but I just can't pay that much.

I had a hard time ordering on line as the site wasn't working well, so I called for 3 days - no answer at San Vicente so drove there an hour to the one on San Vicente. I needed to get 4 fruit pies and a slice of some other. There were 3 girls and at times 4 and I was the only customer . The pies were incredible!!! I had to get 2 GF and they were spot in!! One girl there though was rude and impatient and had a very " teenage" attitude. I eventually asked her her name - Marina. This still didn't stop the attitude or smug approach to me. Really surprising. All the girls there were so helpful in answering questions but this young girl has got to go. For the clientele that frequents there, I'd suggest she moves on elsewhere. She doesn't like her job nor people. I saw another man enter with his son. Again, all the other girls are extremely helpful and this marina. Just it back and start a look at me wondering why I had asked her name. I decided I was going to write this up on Yelp and call the manager. She ended up not helping the young man and his son. That's why the 3 stars - hiring is also key - great pies or not !

I've never been a fan of cake, but pies, yes please, especially the flakey crust of these more than just Ok desert/breakfast/just because pans of yum options. Staff of some really great kids work here. There is a young lady that who had been doodling in a composition book. The drawings were incredible for technique and subject matter. The level of quality that I look for in considering a creative to join my team. The quality of food found on this trip to LaLaLand was for the most part outstanding. Finding Winston Pies was well worth the time and calorie intake. Given them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I have had pies from here a few times. Recently the Apple Pie and Blueberry Pies. Their pies are the best! They have normal size pies and mini-pies. I love pie! Hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream borders on orgasmic. Only bad thing about pie is that it contains sugar--and sugar is really bad for you. So I have to take it in moderation. But if you are complaining that you have not had a great pie lately--shut your pie hole~! and get over to Winston's for pie!

The pie crust is the most yummy part . Crispy with some sugar yet soft like pie too. The small apple pies are a nice dessert.

Let's start off by saying when you walk in it's beautiful, smells nice, and they greet you kindly. The pies? Well, they are big and overly expensive for what they taste. Apple pie was just big chucks of apple and extremely soggy when you bite into it. Overall this please was nice and I would definitely give it another try some day.

My fiancé was craving apple pie, so I found myself extensively researching the LA pie scene. According to multiple sources, Winston Pies' Harvest Apple is the best apple pie around, so I did not hesitate to order one. We opted for home delivery, and it arrived packed with care, including detailed baking and storage instructions. Upon cutting into the pie, I was astounded at how delicate and flakey the all butter crust was. It was reminiscent of fine French viennoiserie, and had exceptional flavor. Definitely one of the best pie crusts I've ever had. Sadly, the filling was not good. I disliked how large the chunks of apple were. They were barely sweet, just big pieces of cooked fruit. I wanted this to be the best apple pie ever, but it was not, and at $50, I can not recommend it. Maybe their other pies are better.

Door dashed two separate pies. Both were so delicious! I love desserts, but Im very picky about the calories and only eat desserts on special occasions.... This place I will make an exception! I haven't been to the Store yet, but it's absolutely on the must do list!!!
