The 10 Best Burgers In Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"The best burger here is named after the restaurant’s neighborhood: Whitman. This option incorporates melted swiss and lemon garlic aioli, which makes the burger almost ooze. The bun is light and airy, the patty has a blend that’s smoky and steak-like, and it all gets balanced out with the caramelized onions and arugula on top. One of the best parts about Wolf Burger is that you can come here, down a few beers and a cheeseburger before noon, and find at least five people at the bar doing exactly the same thing. " - Candis Mclean, Alison Kessler

‘Good Burger’ Tried to Warn Us. Maybe We’ll Listen to ‘Good Burger 2.’ | Eater

"Portrayed as a small, working-class burger joint from a 1997 kids’ film, this restaurant is framed as a mom-and-pop operation threatened by a predatory chain that uses an addictive chemical to outsell rivals. The sunshiny 16-year-old cook Ed invents a wildly popular special sauce but is exploited by his friend Dexter, who bottles the sauce and pockets most of the profits while paying Ed only a paltry bonus, underscoring how frontline workers are underpaid and undervalued. The original story functions as an anti-corporate cautionary tale that celebrates worker ingenuity, loyalty, and calling out bad actors rather than simple commercial success. The new sequel revisits those themes as new corporate owners pursue global franchising and deploy artificial intelligence to replace staff, suggesting the film’s concerns about corporate overreach, harmful ingredients, and automation remain resonant decades later." - Amy McCarthy

Wolf Burger - Review - South Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"The best burger here is named after the restaurant’s neighborhood: Whitman. This option uses a mix of melted swiss cheese and lemon garlic aioli which in turn makes the burger almost ooze with creamy drippings. The bun is light and airy, the patty has a blend that’s smoky and steak-like, and gets balanced out with the carmelized onions and arugula it’s topped with. One of the best parts about Wolf Burger is that you can come here, down a few beers and a cheeseburger before noon, and find at last five people at the bar doing exactly the same thing." - Candis R. 10 of the best burgers in Singapore - SilverKris

"What began as a modest gourmet food stall has grown into an accessible destination for premium, affordably priced burgers; standout items include the Alpha—double beef patties with tangy cheddar, pickled onions and a signature WOLF sauce on fluffy brioche—and the Forager, a mushroom-forward option with sautéed onions, shoyu mayo, melted Provolone and plump white button mushrooms. The menu is family-friendly and includes offerings tailored for kids." - Dinesh Ajith

Tried this place out. Not what I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice and cozy and all, but the mixed drink I got tasted nothing like a Long Island Ice Tea. Tasted watery and just wasn’t feeling it. The bathroom also needs to be cleaned throughout the day or at the end of the shift. Kind of trashy if you ask me. Won’t be coming here again.

A Bar atmosphere with some tables and very good food. They are known for the burgers which I highly recommend. But pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Try the garlic parmisan fries.

Perfect burger bar. Low key environment with super friendly and attentive staff. The burgers, fries, onion rings and tots (loaded) were terrific and the beer prices were very fair.

After a visit to IKEA I was absolutely starving and needed food quick. I was in the mood for a good burger and stumbled on this spot. This bar offered just that. With a variety of elevated bar food options to choose from I knew this was a good choice. I got the wolf burger, but with just one patty. Which thank goodness because it was massive. The burger was juicy and well seasoned. Had a great visit.

We visited Wolf Burger for the first time after hearing many good things. Very inviting atmosphere. Food was amazing, especially the wings. Bartenders were awesome. Got a chance to speak with Paul, who was on point with his service and very friendly. Then we spoke to the owner Ashley for a while. She was super sweet and made us feel like we had been there a hundred times. 100% recommend and we will be back.

We went to grab burgers on a Sunday night- party of 5 seemed to be wayyyyy too much for the kitchen to handle. Waited an hour for 4 out of 5 burgers to come out one at a time, so that no one was able to eat together. And one of the 4 was incorrect. The 5th never arrived and we ended up leaving without it. We watched take out orders go out while sitting waiting for food. No lie- full hour. The female bartender was great and really tried her best but the kitchen is an absolute mess. Would never go back, would never recommend.

Google
New to the neighborhood and figured I’d try this place out! I got the Wolf burger and Buffalo wings. It was so good, definitely coming back! Thank you!

Google
Would be 4 stars if I wasn’t lied to about the bacon being pork and still putting it on my burger instead of admitting that you forgot to remove it unless it was beef. I’m mad I left a tip now.

Yelp
The best neighborhood spot with the nicest, friendliest staff and even better food. The chicken cutlet caesar sandwich is to die for. All food and drinks are reasonably priced, always great service!!!

Yelp
I ordered takeout and was thoroughly happy with the entire experience. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food was ready exactly when I walked in, at the quoted pickup time. The food itself was a delight. Got a burger and the Caesar sandwich. Both were great. Fries were solid and all were a reasonable volume for the price. Looking forward to grabbing a bite or beer in person another time.

Yelp
Our party of 5 was too much for this kitchen to handle. They must make the burgers one at a time because over the course of an hour they came out one at a time, the fifth one never came out at all. There were mistakes made on 2 of the 4 that did make it to the table. We will never go again and would def not recommend. Amazed this place stays in business.

Yelp
*NEW OWNER ALERT* Wolf Burger is managed by an amazing crew. Awesome bartenders who love the neighborhood and bring great vibes. Games are always on and there is always a good conversation at the bar. This place is comfortable and welcoming. Come for the burgers, stay for the good times.
