"Located on the ground floor of the forever-being-renovated mall, this upscale Southern restaurant has a nice enough space, but unfortunately, the food itself isn’t very good. Yardbird has locations in Vegas and Singapore, and is best known for its chicken and waffles. Here, it’s not a terrible dish, but it’s also one you aren’t going to remember in a half hour. And the same goes for everything else on the menu. If you work at Cedars or a nearby agency and need a corporate environment for after-work drinks with coworkers, Yardbird will do the trick. Otherwise, you can skip it. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Brant Cox
"The Beverly Center’s Yardbird has a special a la carte menu on Thanksgiving Day, so you can eat your Thanksgiving favorites for dinner (and avoid that Depression-era jello salad grandma makes). The main entree is a classic turkey dinner with gravy, cranberry compote, and mashed potatoes, plus there are sides like lobster mac and cheese, biscuit stuffing, leek potato gratin, and a brown butter bourbon pumpkin pie with honey whipped cream. Price: A la carte (Dishes range from $10-$50)" - sylvio martins
"The Beverly Center’s Yardbird has several Thanksgiving To-Go Packages, ranging from small gatherings (two-to-four people) to larger get-togethers (six to eight). Enjoy sage and celery stuffing, fresh cranberry relish, and giblet gravy, alongside your turkey and mashed potatoes. Prices for each to-go package range from $290-$550 depending on the size of your party." - kat hong, nikko duren, garrett snyder
"What It Is: An upscale Southern restaurant in The Beverly Center Perfect For: Big Groups, After-Work Drinks For this week’s edition of Which New Restaurant Opened Inside The Beverly Center, we checked in on Yardbird. Located on the ground floor of the forever-being-renovated mall, this upscale Southern restaurant originally from Miami has a nice-enough space, but unfortunately, the food just isn’t very good. The restaurant, which also has locations in Vegas and Singapore, is best known for its chicken and waffles. Here, it’s not a terrible dish, but it’s also one you aren’t going to remember in a half hour. And the same goes for everything else on the menu. The Verdict: If you work at Cedars and need a corporate environment for after-work drinks with coworkers, Yardbird will do the trick. Otherwise, you can skip it." - jess basser sanders, brant cox, brett keating
"Popular Southern restaurant Yardbird has handy takeout packages priced for the number of people (the $225 one serves up to four, while the $635 feast can handle up to 12), and it comes with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry relish, bourbon brown butter glazed yams, and of course, herb-roasted turkey. There’s even the restaurant’s signature fried chicken to add on if that’s not enough." - Matthew Kang
