"This unsung Korean restaurant in Gardena has been open for almost thirty years serving the neighborhood with high-quality tabletop Korean barbecue. In recent years, it’s avoided the turn to all-you-can-eat and stuck with more premium offerings, relying on balanced seasonings and fantastic banchan. The results are clear to Korean Americans living in the South Bay, who often come in packs after golf sessions toasting to soju and beer. Expect to pay about $200 for a four-person combination that comes with brisket, marinated short rib, and more. FYI, it’s closed on Tuesdays." - Matthew Kang

The atmosphere of the store is a pleasant atmosphere where I want to spend time with my family and friends. I went to eat with 8 or 9 friends. It was a hygienically clean restaurant. It was more than the side dishes as well as the main dishes, and each dish seemed to be well-trodden. It's the best barbecue I've had in recent years. It's a popular place, so I have to make a reservation in advance. My recommendation is meat, but especially, raw beef, beef brisket, ribs, and waitress are very kind. They always asked me what I needed. I want to go to Dam and have a cup of makgeolli with the hot pot and seafood pancake I had that day.

As a KBBQ lover, this spot completely won me over! The beautifully marbled meats were so tender and packed with flavor, but the real star of the meal was the marinated crab. It was rich, savory, and absolutely worth braving traffic to get here. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, keeping our grill in perfect shape and making the whole experience even better with their warm hospitality. And the side dishes were absolutely incredible! I’ve never seen them presented like this before, and every single one was so delicious that I couldn’t leave without grabbing a take-out box to enjoy them at home. This place truly delivers on all fronts!

Combo section is NOT all you can eat. Overpriced in my opinion. I got the two person combo which came with two meats, some sides, two sodas, and rice (everything in the picture is about 95% of what we received) and that all cost $130 (with taxes minus tip). The meat portion was good but still crazy because it’s not all you can eat. Service and atmosphere were good; waitress was nice and attentive. Quality of the food was good but nothing special.

Not all you can eat but I was very satisfied by the end. Great side dishes and the meat quality was good. Recommend coming for lunch.

Quick review for non-Asians, tourists, and uninformed people like me who are not experts in Korean BBQ. Let's start with the small dishes... Ah, they are delicious... a full variety of things. It's not spicy or overly weird. Quality ingredients, such as mashed potatoes with eggs mixed in, just a small amount. Some vegetables, some rice, neatly presented... Ah, I want to visit Korea now... It's Saturday night, and it's packed. It's loud, but the noise doesn't come from loud music or a loud TV playing football. It's from people, many people, sitting close to each other in groups, talking loudly, and enjoying their company. Not all are Koreans. In fact, my group was all Chinese (I am not), and it's probably like when a German in Europe tries Danish food. Yeah, it's still a different experience. They loved it. Then the meat... You have to try them all, bulgogi too. Ah... I wonder if a carnivore diet is healthy...whi cares , and I enjoy how It's grilled right at your table. The waiters, who are fast and practice ZERO small talk, unlike LA waiters, have mportant tasks: get your table grill gas fire going, flip your meat once in a while, and run around like at an obstacle course. Prices are high, but it's worth it. The beer was delicious, too, a Korean brand. Fun times, great food. The parking lot gets full, but there is street parking. Come with a group, live life like Koreans!

Google
Yellow Cow has been in business for over 20 years but you wouldn't know it by looking at the place. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Also, let me give you a tip about food service businesses: if you want to see how cleanly a business operates go and check their restrooms. Funny but true. Yellow Cow has CLEAN restrooms. On to their food... their side dishes are fresh made daily and they also vary the side dish menu with new, thoughtfully prepared ones. They always impress. Their meat quality is the best I've had. This isn't all you can eat BBQ. If you are expecting quantity over quality this isn't the place for you. The service is friendly and attentive. Quality of taste and meat-wise, this is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in SoCal.

Google
This place to me was very good. Came in n on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all, the whole restaurant looked really clean, service was great, the beer and food were really good too, a bit pricey but overall everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful and all the tables were very organized and grills on the table were spotless.

Google
The kbbq here is decent. The combos give you a lot of choices for 2-4 meat combos along with the steamed egg and choice of soup and drinks. This is not ayce. The staff was very attentive and came around check and cook for us often. The banchan was slightly different than the ones I'm use to. The usual kimchi, potato salad, soybean sprouts and salad were there, but there were some other interesting dishes like a lotus root dish and dried seaweed. The meat we got was good, the ribeye was tender, the bulgogi and spicy bulgogi were also good. The octopus and shrimp was pretty good. Parking here is very bad as theres lots of restaurants and fast food here and not enough parking.

Yelp
came here for the first time yesterday but have had this place bookmarked for a while. had family visiting from out of town so we called ahead to make a reservation since it was a Friday, but it wasn't that busy around lunchtime. ambiance is good with good kpop music playing in the background. we ordered the family set which was filling for 4 adults plus a child. the brisket was our favorite but the pork belly and rib eye was also good. would probably get an extra steamed egg next time too. for soups we tried the ramyeon and doenjang jigae (soybean paste stew) which were too spicy for the kid. it was all tasty though. and I still appreciate how accommodating they are with allergies and food restrictions though. our server checked on us regularly and made sure our food was cooking well. definitely wouldn't mind coming back.

Yelp
I came with a friend on Sunday night. We arrived around 19:15 and waited for about 15 minutes, which was not too bad. This was my first time here after they moved from the original place (still in the same plaza). The place looks new and clean. Service was fast. We had a comb one, which included two meat choices, two rice options, one steamed egg, and one choice of soup. We asked for the ramen soup. Not too spicy and the noodles were not overcooked (not too soft). Had its texture. The thin-cut pork belly can be cooked like crispy bacon, I like it with the salad. The rib eye was ok, the texture was a little bit loose but tasted fine. Love the variety of the banchan. Maybe it was close to the closing time. Service toward the end was a comparison to when we first came in. Overall still good.

Yelp
There is nothing I would change with the 2 protein meal combination I had in Yellow Cow today. Everything about it was so good, I'm so happy that by chance we picked this place to have lunch today. Originally we simply wanted Beef brisket Korean bbq - everyone knows that is the most generic type of Korean bbq but that's truly all we wanted. Now to order it ala cart would have cost us $40 and it comes with nothing. But what is Korean bbq without Ban Chan - so we would have had to add that etc etc etc. so for choosing 2 meats that comes with ban chan, that is, by the way, one of best varieties I have had, a choice of one of their 3 soups (we got kimchi soup - very delicious), steamed egg, rice paper - and your choice of soda or soju for 2 - you pay $115. I know it sounds pricey but it was so worth it. For our second meat we got "short ribs" which apparently is premium so I had to add $7 - still worth it. Total for 2 people with tip was about $150. I know it's a lot, but it not only filled us, it was so satisfying and we were both very impressed with quality of their food and service. The price can be prohibitive but for a special occasion it's worth pulling out some money from your piggy bank. It's nothing from outside - it's in a strip mall right off Redondo Beach Blvd with a billiard hall, tea room, etc. you really have to look because it doesn't stand out, - but when you enter, it's pretty and clean and relaxed. I really like this place. Parking lot is a good size which makes it easy.

Yelp
Tucked away in a plaza, yellow cow is a cozy kbbq spot (not AYCE) with quality meats and a wide variety of banchan. We came on a Monday night and there was no wait. It's nice that they do take reservations if you call beforehand. We were seated immediately and got the family combo for 3 of us. Family combo was $195 and came with 3 meats, egg, soup, rice paper/radish, and 1 soju. Service was super attentive and cooked all of our meats to perfection. Banchan was so fresh and apparently it's seasonal so it changes. The meats tasted high quality and marbling looked really nice. We didn't have to wave them down to ask for more items or refills because they were on top of it. We got: Brisket (5/5) tasted fresh and cooked with some char Black pork belly (5/5) so good with the more fermented kimchi that he grilled with it. This was an extra $5 since it's a premium meat Galbi (5/5) marinated well and was so tender. Extra $7 At first I thought they forgot our soup, but turns out they bring it to us at the end when we were so full. We chose the intestine soup since it sounded interesting and it was a massive bowl. We ended up having to take it home. Not sure if I'd order it separately again. Overall, it was a bit pricey but we were definitely satisfied with the quality. I'll come back for the cod and other entree items next time since I heard the chef is from culinary class wars!

Yelp
It's been sometime since we've eaten at Yellow Cow. We were so early, the place was almost empty except for a couple of older gentleman and what looked to be a team dinner. The food was delicious. The soju was cold. My favorite servers were working. It was a good day. My only new observation is that the banchan came in a new serving tray, organized in a Hollywood Squares meets Brady Bunch offering. Each square holds a unique banchan. Some banchan is more to my liking than others. My least favorite was the middle square in the first column. Poor "Jan"! My favorite square was the potato salad. Arrive early or late if you don't want to wait. Before 6 or after 8ish. Enjoy!

Yelp
Went for a friend's birthday dinner for my first time. Found not ONE but TWO hairs in two separate dishes. I will not be returning. January 12th. Late evening, until closing time. Found in the salad, then in the bulgogi.

Melinda P.

Yelp
Came here with a party of 4 on Sunday evening. We called ahead to make a reservation and I was so happy we did as the place was PACKED! There's a lot of different restaurants in the plaza so parking was a little difficult. We definitely got lucky and got a spot right away as there were a few cars leaving when we got there. The food itself was pretty good. My friends said the quality of the meats were good. I can't really taste the difference (unless it's really good or really bad) and the banchan to me was okay. They were hit or miss for me personally. Still, I would come back as the servers were nice and quick!

Allison S.

Yelp
Treated my mom out for her birthday to this place. I loved the banchan set that they gave us! They had the usual banchan that we all love like kimchi and potato salad, but I especially love the tomato banchan. We also loved the seafood pancake! It was crispy and tasty. This was the perfect spot to satisfy my korean food cravings.

Roxanne S.

Yelp
Incredible Korean BBQ and such a fun lively environment. We treated my father in law to a birthday dinner here and the whole team at Yellow Cow made it so so special. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
A Korean friend of mine in Seoul emailed me about this place and since it's Lunar New Year weekend, we're here for dinner and check the place out. 1st of all, the place is small but cozy, homie and clean. Our server is wonderful, friendly, helpful and known the menu well. I ordered rib eyes, pork belly, bacon fried rice and fried dumplings. Simply delicious - our waiter cooked the meats for us, one at a time at the table. First the beef (fresh, tender and juicy), then the pork belly with grilled kimchi, just hit all the right spots, especially with the salt/ sesame dipping sauce. Plenty of side dishes which are delightful and perfect accompanied the meats. The bacon fried rice is just perfect, salty but not that salty and l balance well with sliced garlics over the hot stone. As for the costs, I think it fitted perfectly for the dishes portion. Overall, the meals were perfectly fit to start the Lunar New Year for us with a bottle of beer. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes. Shoutout to our waiter, he's the best we ever had (and so far this year) .

Erica K.

Yelp
Came by on a Friday night and it was very busy! Food was so good! Meat quality was great and so tender! Side dishes were also so amazing and it is authentic Korean foods my mom would make at home. Ordered the #1 Combo for two people and it was a more than enough for us. Chose chadolbagi and kkotsal :) Came with a choice of stew and steamed egg and salad. Super satisfied and will be coming back again! Make sure to make a reservation on weekends because we did not know they had that option and waited about an hour on the walk-in waitlist.

Stephen L.

Yelp
Fantastic Korean staples, the cuts of meat are very high quality and perfectly marinated and cooked. The banchan are freshly made and absolutely delicious, perfect complements to the meal. Didn't try the soups/stews, but I've heard they're also excellent. Service was outstanding as well, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Cool old-school decor ambiance. Exceptional traditional Korean food, highly recommend!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. My sister and I were craving some kbbq after a few years of not indulging, so we chose this spot as we were in the area. The restaurant is located in a small plaza that is full of some yummy looking food spots. Yellow Cow has a pure white sign with small, black text signifying the restaurant's entrance. It seems quite unassuming until you pass through the wooden doors. The restaurant is decorated in a lot of fun pictures which gives it a joyous ambiance. The servers are so kind and polite! They seemed genuinely enthusiastic to have us in their restaurant. We were lucky to come before a huge crowd entered five minutes after us, so we were seated quickly. We ordered Combo #1 and were brought barchan, soup, drinks, and rice immediately. We ordered bulgogi and galbi which our server cooked for us. I think she noticed that we weren't very experienced and helped us out. The meats were marinated perfectly--sweet, yet subtle! I will say that the banchan was more sweet than sour or spicy. I still very much enjoyed everything. If you want quality and comforting kbbq, then this spot is a perfect choice. I will definitely return!

Chrissy C.

Yelp
Food - the banchan is excellent, definitely above average. Meats are great quality as well. Ramyun as a soup choice in the combo sets is clutch. Service - the staff are friendly and bring great energy. You might have to do some cooking yourself when it's busy though. Ambiance - smoke filled, the ventilation isn't great so be prepared to smell heavily of KBBQ after but that's usually the case. It has a very down to earth, bustling, and family vibes. Great for small and large groups. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Spent around $75 per person. Would definitely go back!

Kyle L.

Yelp
Best service ever! Very good service and friendly staff The food was very delicious and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I want to come back and experience the same service. It's one of my favorite places The ambiance is great for a big group.

Yery J.

Yelp
a great kbbq spot in gardena! spacious, clean interior. it can get loud during dinner since many people drink but during lunch time, it's a lot more quieter and less busier. service is great, food comes out in timely manner. their lunch box special is great! very filling and though a little pricey, it's worth for the taste and items you are getting. their other menus (kbbq) a la carte are also great. i've never had a bad experience here; ate til my stomach was happy and full :') would overall recommend this kbbq spot if you want to try a great, clean k-bbq spot!

Yelp
I wanted to come on a Tuesday but it was closed so we decided to come for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was a lot of people in there for lunch but we got seated pretty fast. We got the family set and that was enough for 4-5 people. Honestly, I think meat portion was not enough for that many. We felt ok but were full mostly from the soup at the end. It was just a descent amount for lunch but I wouldn't suggest that for dinner if you have four or five people. The ambiance feels cramped as it's not a big bbq restaurant. I just have to warn you the service is super slow here. I'm not used to cooking my own meats at non all you can eat place but here we did all the meat cooking. Mostly, we hate going to all you can eat because of the quality but also that we like to enjoy eating without having to spend focusing on cooking our meat. We just felt short changed having to cook our own meats here for non all you can eat as my poor spouse was spending most of his time cooking the meats and didn't have a lot of time enjoying the food for himself. Also, the ventilation is not great in here. Overall, I think the price was good for what was included and the meat quality was pretty good but the service was just so slow.

Kevin S.

Yelp
FYI not ACYE. So for it being 4/5 pretty incredible. Came here for dinner with my parents. Location is in a small strip mall. There's not a lot of parking for the strip mall itself but there's enough parking around the neighborhood where it's located. Since it was just the three of us we ordered the combo 1 which gives you the option of two meats and a bottle of soju/beer or two sodas. Mom was pretty happy to have a large bottle of Cass all to herself. We added on an extra meat and were comfortably full afterwards. The meats we got were the black pork belly, galbi/kalbi, and of course brisket. Pretty good quality meats all around. What really stuck out though was their assortment of banchan they were happy to refill whenever asked. I thought the seaweed in particular was a great touch. Delicious by itself and great in a wrap or in rice. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to have quality kbbq in Gardena!

Swoosy L.

Yelp
The food was amaaazing!! We got the Beef Bacon and Black Pork Belly and the taste/quality of the meat and ripe kimchi was so good!! All the side dishes tasted so fresh and flavorful. The cold noodles were not bland, they were very savory and refreshing! The restaurant is kept super clean with nice tables, chairs, and decor, so dining here felt like a luxurious experience and I'm glad I took my friends here!! The service was great too.

Lou C.

Yelp
Has to be the best kbbq in the South Bay. The quality of the meat is top notch. There side dishes (banchan) range from traditional to some with a modern twist. The service her is also really good, waitress will check up on you and flip your meat from time to time.

Hng Ân N.

Yelp
I've been to many well-known KBBQ spots in K-Town and OC, but Yellow Cow is definitely at the top of my list! Everything here is a hit, and the quality of their meats is outstanding. The servers are incredibly sweet and attentive, which adds to the great experience. Not pictured, but their kimchi jjigae is one of the best I've ever had--same goes for their naengmyeon! They're also known for their variety of side dishes, and I'm always amazed by how fresh and high-quality everything is. If you're visiting Gardena, Yellow Cow is a must-try!

Sunny S.

Yelp
Hands down best kbbq place in this area. The vibe of this place is very lively and fun. I called in advance and I waited about 30 mins for dinner around 6 pm. They take waitlist in person through a paper waitlist. The food was so good. We ordered a set menu and the food was more than enough for everyone. They also give unlimited side dishes and cook your meat for you. This place is way better than other big chains such as baekjeong.

Lisa N.

Yelp
This place is so Yummy!! I knew this place will be hard to get in on the weekend so I made a reservation before hand. We went there on Saturday evening and the place was already full of people and packed! Good that I made a res, we got in soon after the table was ready. Ordered the 2 meat combo dinner which comes with selection of soup and drinks. Parking is always full so it's really hard to find a place to park. You might have to park on the street if you can't find a place to park.

Yvette M.

Yelp
We took a look at the menu posted outside and noticed the meals were priced a bit high, but decided to give it a try. When we walked in, it smelled delicious. Not wanting to bbq the meat ourselves, we decided to order the DoSiRak, a set plate, with a choice of meat, salad, soup, and Banchan, priced at $26. We chose one with Spicy Pork Bulgogi and one with Beef Brisket. The spicy pork was super tender and I had zero fatty pieces. If you order the beef brisket, topping with the sauces on the side are a must. Once you do that, the meat is absolutely delicious. The rice was topped with a tiny scallion pancake that was super tasty. The variety of Banchan was delicious and the salad although not dressed, helped balance the spiciness of the spicy pork Service started out bad, but ended on a good note. We were given a side of Kimchi to make up for the bad start. Loved that my leftovers remained in the set plate I was given and all I had to do was place a plastic top on the box to take it home with me. Priced a bit high, but the food was pretty delicious overall.

Yelp
I used to come here occasionally but it's had been near a year since I last came here. Came here today with my two sister in-laws. Girls dining out :) heard that the ownership changed recently so I was bit worried. But food was even better than before the ownership change. Similar mens but much more tastier and flavorful ( right on point ) for my taste bud. But we all agreed on that part. I liked the all the ban-Chan especially the cabbage salad. We had to ask for 2nd. Kalbi ( K. BBQ marinated rib), spicy squid sauté with veggie was but in the spicy side but very sweet, spicy and tangy. One dish stand out from other Korean restaurants dishes: It was seafoods pancake !!!! Was Crispy outside and soft and cooked perfectly with lots of seafood and veggies. I highly recommend !!! Still craving!!! Yum Good clean modern atmosphere and Excellent service.

Yelp
We saw this place on Instagram and wheb we got more details, we found out that the owner was on a Netflix show called Culinary Class Wars. So we immediately had to go since we loved her in the show and we love food in general. We had a combo 1 and it was sooo much food but we loved every bit of it. The kimchi soup, steamed egg, sides , duck, tripe, a lot of food for 2 people, so bring your appetite. And while we were waiting for the gopchang to finish cooking, the owner came and cut it up for us and even showed me the best way to eat it. I was starstrucked and she had a feeling a a full auntie making sure you had the best time and food experience. She even tapped me on the shoulder when she expressed how happy she was when we said we enjoy intestines. The place is a bit small but it gives the ambiance of going to a family members home and grandma feeding you until you are completely full. Can't wait to come back again, I really want to try their marinated crab.

Janet K.

Yelp
This was actually the only decent Korean bbq in Torrance and Gardena area. The owner and staff members are really nice. It's clean and the side dishes are delicious ~ the owner used to go to Korea to learn new dishes to bring back to America. This spot is go to spot for the best Korean bbq! This place is nice but small but clean! If you want to get your grub on come early to miss all the traffic! The prices got a lot higher for the quantity they serve but it's the quality you're paying. If you're in the area definitely worth the hype!

Philip W.

Yelp
Busy as usual and that means it's "YUMMY FOOD" Excellent Galbi and banchan Remember to make reservations

Jiemei G.

Yelp
Got delivery from here and the Dosirak was amazing. Great value for price - I loved all the banchan, included boiled peanuts, potato salad, fish cake etc. a small piece of pancake and the bulgogi was delicious. I also loved the cabbage soup - was so cozy as the day was rainy.

Alanna G.

Yelp
Delicious Korean bbq. I came on a weekend and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Service is super friendly and helpful. I loved the variety of banchan that came with the meal. Really allows you to try a number of different flavors and textures with every bite. High quality meat was delicious. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I've tried a few different spots in the area and significantly prefer Yellow Cow. I'll be back!

Yelp
Truly the BEST Korean BBQ in Southern CA!! The meats are premium quality and the banchan (side dishes) are always different and fresh! The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. Service is always top notch with servers who know what they are doing. Absolutely a must try! Try to come early to avoid the always long wait! Can't wait to go back!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Yellow Cow is reliable, consistent, and delicious--we have never had a bad meal from there. I appreciate the variety of items on the menu and have tried the Dosirak (Set Meal) with Bulgogi/House Special Chicken, Steamed Eggs, Budae Jigae (Army Soup), Japchae Noodles, Cold Noodles, and Kimchi Jigae. The repeats on the regular are the House Special Chicken Dosirak and the Kimchi Jigae. I tried the House Special Chicken on a whim, and loved it so much more than the Bulgogi. The chicken is juicy, full of flavor, and I love the vinegar-y dipping sauce it comes with. I also really enjoy all the banchan that is included with the Dosirak, plus the side of soup and salad. It's a filling and delicious meal and always hits the spot. Even though we get charged the Expanded Range Fee on DoorDash (boo), I can't stop ordering from Yellow Cow. It's our favorite Korean spot we've tried so far. One of these days, I hope to enjoy a meal at the actual restaurant.

Karl K.

Yelp
Amazing Panchan - I can't believe they have sweet crunchy shrimp - I haven't had this for years!! And they kept it coming, three dishes deep! The food was actually quite good too! We got some family style bbq of bulgogi and ribeye In addition to that, there was an amazing beef stew! Definitely will be back!

Yelp
I hate to write a negative review for this place because it was one of my favorite places to go for K-BBQ in the neighborhood. I have known this place even before they were Yellow Cow which was just a regular Korean traditional restaurant. This place is not cheap compared to other places however their side dishes are beyond excellent compared to other K BBQ, so I don't mind paying more at this place. On 9/23, we visited this place for a small birthday lunch with my uncle and my auntie. We ordered their lunch box and in middle of our meal my uncle scooped up the potato salad in the box and a LOOOOOOONG ass hair followed up with the salad. DISGUSTING. however, things like this can happen I mean we are not all perfect BUT what is important is how you handle such situation. We asked for the manager or whoever she was (she does not deserve to be a manager if she is) and addressed her the issue of this hair in the food. She looked at it and first thing out of her mouth is not I am sorry but "Oh... It wasn't there when I was preparing the box" are you serious? She must be sent from another K BBQ to ruin the good reputation this place has because other than that who responds in this way????? Then the next thing out of her mouth is again not sorry but "So do you want another one or your money back??" At this point I wanted to cuss her out, but she was not worth our time. Owner Lady please re-train your employee Ajummas better. That should not be the way something this should be addressed. Also, my last note is that during dinner time when you are drunk, please make sure to read the receipts VERY carefully. They charge you tip on the bill, but many drunk people don't realize that and pay another 18-20% tip. This is wrong. They should NOT be applying tip automatically and IF they do they should acknowledge that to the customers each time. Not returning back to this place.

Yelp
Here we go.... Service...I made reservation and sat me down on time. Pretty fast service since people are waiting to be seated Food: ordered the brisket, rib eye, fries dumplings and bulgogi bibimbap (bulgogi rice). Very good quality meats, tender and the bulgogi rice is a must....very flavorful and something you should not pass on. They have many sides, but the go to is the radish slices that are marinated in beet juice. The fried dumplings are also very flavorful and the perfect pre snack before the cook!!! The dipping sauces are also a great touch to the meats.

Yelp
As the other reviews have mentioned this place is all about the quality! This location came recommended by a few family and friends ! We had called in to make a reservation for a Saturday afternoon and it was before dinner so it was not packed at all! This is my first non all you can eat Korean bbq and overall the best and my favorite I have tried! We had combo #3 for 3 meats which was great pricing! And any leftover meat we got to take home!! The soup noodles was sooo good!! As well as all 3 meats! My husband tried the octopus which he also enjoyed! The staff was Soo great and attentive ! We left super stuffed and had some meat left over! I highly recommend anyone to try this location! The only thing is parking spots seem a little tight and small around the parking lot I can imagine really packed during dinner.

Yelp
Perfect for as small group of friends and plenty of food when you order the family meal. Pros: fast and friendly Cons: none

Yelp
It was my first time coming to this place. I love Korean BBQ and my fiancé decided our quick lunch would be this place. It was amazing! Great service and the Soju recommendation was amazing! We ordered bulgogi and pork belly.

Yelp
Service was kinda meh, they were trying their best but the meat would burn if i didn't watch carefully and intervene. Had to constantly flag down for refills. Food was decent if a bit pricy for the quantity. The main reason I was disappointed was when i paid the bill and asked for a few boxes to take home leftovers. The staff actually argued with me about the number of boxes i could get to pack up the remaining food. Sure i get it if people were loading up on banchan to take home, but there was almost none of the banchan left and i just wanted to take back some of the food we didn't eat. After spending 280 dollars on the meal, fighting over 5 dollars of banchan is pretty distasteful to me. Probably won't be back.

Yelp
The good: My husband and I thought it would be fun to drive to Gardena without a food plan and to eat at a random spot without researching in advance. We stumbled upon this spot and it turned out to be the yummiest adventure. It was $98 for a combo for 2 people. I ordered this but it fed 3 adults and a toddler. I got the brisket and bulgogi meat. The bulgogi was so tender and nicely marinated. It wasn't too sweet. My daughter ate a lot of it even though she doesn't typically like to eat meat. It came with the egg soufflé, a spicy stew, soju (we got peach), radish wraps, rice wraps, and a salad. Our waiter was super friendly and good with kids. He offered my toddler candy after the meal which she thoroughly enjoyed. I like how the workers cook the meat for you. The food wasn't overly seasoned. The interior is on the smaller side and has a very authentic Korean feel with the plastic water bottles and metal bowls. The bathroom had a fun trough-style sink. The bad: The stew was a bit spicier than I expected. They said it was a non-spicy stew and came back to clarify that it's a "little spicy" but it's very spicy! I love spicy food but was getting the stew as an option for my 2 year old. It ended up being fine though because she ate rice, meat, salad and the egg. The combo meal doesn't come with rice (though it doesn't really need it). The interesting: I've never seen customized high chairs that match the rest of the restaurants upholstery before.

Yelp
We had the combo 1. Bulgogi and galbi. With all the sides steamed egg and ramen. The meat was wonderful. We thought a bit expensive for two people but well worth it. Service was great. I want to have a large party there!!

Yelp
I drive all the way down from LA to eat here and that should mean something! The side dishes are some of the best, meat quality is great, and their tripe/intestine (gopchang) stew is delicious (and I usually don't like intestine stew).

Yelp
Still the best Korean food in the South Bay. The owner is so friendly and the food is delicious Highly recommend the kalbi and bulgogi and the soju!

Yelp
Came for a weekend dinner and was blown away by the meat quality of the combo set! We got the set for 2 and the meat...I forgot but I think it was some sort of ribeye. Quality was super high and the service was quick. I must note that the banchan here is on a whole other level! The variety is top notch, the potato salad was not too mayo-y, acorn jelly was super balanced in flavor and they refilled super quick when we requested! Honestly I'm surprised this place is even more busy but maybe that's a good thing so they can keep the quality of banchan until the next time I go haha. Anyways, love this place and can't wait to go again!

Yelp
Ahhh yes. Once again I am back at Yellow Cow to get my dose of delicious Korean BBQ. As always my party ordered the combo. We always order the combo based on how many people are in our party. This time we had 7 people, so we ordered a four person combo and a three person combo. We are big big big fans of the prime rib, brisket, and scallops. I would eat the steamed egg all by myself if I could! It's that delicious. Unfortunately it's seen as rude if you don't share with the table hahaha. The staff were great as always. It's always comforting to see the same servers. It kind of makes you feel like home! I hope they get paid well because they work so hard. I have never had a bad experince with Yellow Cow and it will forever continue to be my #1 KBBQ spot.
