Yiayia’s Pappas Greek Kitchen

I’m torn between being sad remembering the old YiaYia’s and overjoyed that they decided to open again. This concept is less casual than the past restaurant but is really nice for a delightful experience. We’ve been here twice so far and both time we’re fantastic. Make reservations ahead of time as they do get very busy. The feta appetizer is wonderful, a little spicy but so delicious. They bring out warm pita bread with it which I can’t get enough of. Both visits I had the sea bass and it’s delicious. The chicken souvlaki is cook so it’s still tender and juicy and full of flavor. For the sides we had the green beans and of course the lemon potatoes. It’s a little on the pricey side but the service and food make it worth the price. We will definitely be back again.

Seeing how this is a Pappas restaurant, it’s no wonder it was amazing. The service, food, and drinks were delicious. Only complaint was that my ribeye was a little under. They didn’t ask what temperature I preferred, and I probably should have specified, but I figured they would have done medium rare. I guess you could say it was more on the rare side than medium rare, but the steak was still very tasty.

Came in for an early valentine’s day celebration, and everything was absolutely perfect. When we first arrived, we were nervous about the noise level, but we were sat in a nice quiet corner, and from there we had an amazing time. Our server, Nico, knew exactly what to say, and helped us pick out the best dinner. We started with the hummus, Kalamata Olive Bread, and from Nico’s recommendation, the Shrimp Athena (which were awesome, highly recommend). We shared the lamb shank and salmon and it was all delicious. You have to get the Patates Riganates, they are soooo good. Fig old fashioned was so good, I had never encountered Greek wines, and Nico guided us through choosing one, which couldn’t have gone better. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

We had a wonderful experience at YiaYia’s Greek Restaurant. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and family gatherings. Exceptional wine list. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the amazing service, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You’re treated like family from the moment you walk in. They offer Valet as well as plenty of self parking. A true gem that we’re always happy to return to.

We celebrated Valentine's day here. The food was great. We liked everything we ordered, especially the olive bread. We had appetizers, main course, and dessert. The wine per bottle was slightly overpriced. The decore was nice for the level of restaurant they are going for (for perspective we have been to many expensive restaurants internationally). The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. We will return.

As much as I wanted to love this like the old location they still have some improving to do. Overall the food was decent but for what they're charging for the steak you would think they could get the proper temperature right the first two times. Ordered medium rare, first time came out "seared" second town came out still blue. At that point I just finished it and made a note not to return for this price point. Glad to see papas doesn’t take their customer feedback seriously anymore.

We were really nervous dining here. We were HUGE fans of the old Yia Yia’s on San Felipe and were curious about the new concept. They were running behind with their service (expected for a busy restaurant on a Friday night). The hostess wasn’t very apologetic about this 30+ minute delay. However, closer to the time of being seated, the person in charge of managing the reservations came and spoke to us and began to turn our experience around. She ensured we were the next guest to be seated. We watched as the Yia yia’s team worked cohesively to swiftly turn over the vacated table and set up for us. Immediately after being seated, our incredible waiter, Charles, welcomed us with enthusiasm and presented us with beverages and appetizers to nibble on as we peruse the menu. There were no delays in our service. Charles was so passionate about the restaurant and the food that we were eager to try his favorites - and they did not disappoint. Although service was swift and meticulous, we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy our evening after a slightly rougher start. We look forward to returning in the near future to try more of Charles’ favorites!

Delicious food, as I expect from the Pappas brand. Clever take on modern Greek cuisine, the menu is very diverse with hot and cold and surf or turf options. The moussaka is delicious, and the desserts are out of this world. My only complaint is that there’s so much traffic (the place is popular!) that it’s very noisy. We had a tough time hearing each other at the table, and the bustle around us was annoying. Maybe they can work on that.

I normally don't write second reviews, and I wasn't planning to when we came back to Yiayia's for a second visit, but the meal was just so perfect that I had to. We came back for a family birthday and everything was so perfect. Note - even despite the power going out for brief second because it was storming outside, the experience was wonderful. Apparently they have many generators, so power came back quickly. Appetizers - eggplant, saganaki, shrimp were all incredible. The shrimp and saganaki are a must. Mains - snapper, salmon, sea bass - all were perfect. I still can't believe how perfectly cooked all 3 fish were - we had trouble picking which one we liked best. And the chocolate cake is just so moist and perfect to finish the meal. Yiayia's has earned a spot on our favorite restaurants in Houston list! Can't wait to come back and try more, and can't wait to sit out on their patio, which looks so inviting as well.

Everything was yummy, you pay a bit more for this greek food experience. Both service and ambiance were great. Shared the spanakopita and taramosalata, and the lemon potatoes. Really enjoyed dinner, my steak, and dollop of grains hehe. that chocolate cake...wow! I'm not even a cake person. But nothing else really stood out if I'm being honest. It was a good experience. I would go back, would like to try another round of items especially the seafood dishes. Valet $6 Noticed a menu photo from only 6 months ago that the ribeye souvlaki price went up $10 just in that time.

This is a gastronomic dream place and visited in way to Houston on a recommendation. First the server was intelligent knowledgeable dynamic and set the stage for delicious meal ahead. The fog orange old fashioned was delectable sweet and beautiful with a sliced orange not peel and fig piece. The Pinot noir tasted during main course was also vibrant and delicious The appetizers featured a classic Greek dish saganaki cheese flambee with brandy omg! Served with warm flat bread this was to die for except that's the crispness even better nestled in a divine softly spiced vinegar based sauce. The hummus was also delicious but the main course of grilled sea bass with blistered tomatoes was amazing. The winner was the grilled lamb chops individually served and perfection And of that isn't enough the baklava cheesecake nestles two of favorite desserts I. One but the chocolate cake with cocoa and chocolate sauce was absolutely the bomb Kudos to this place and clearly a 5 star winner for me

TEN STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! Brian was amazing. Let me start there because the service was top-notch, honey! Upon my arrival, which I now know that I was very early (my niece is never on time, though HAHA). I arrived a little before 7:30 pm and was informed that I was early, so the hostess let me know that I was welcomed to take a seat at the bar to enjoy a cocktail. I did just that. First, I took a tour outside and basked in the beauty that is the front of the restaurant capturing photos and videos. Eventually I made my way back inside and headed to the bar. I was greeted and provided both food and drink menus upon seating and for my one and only drink, I went with the FIG & ORANGE OLD FASHIONED - baby they don't play with that bourbon! It was my ONLY drink of the evening. I can't tell you the last time I had one but just know, my 'inner Uncle' was activated! Haha! Drink was good and strong. After our table was ready for us we made our way over. The birthday girl arrived about 20 minutes ~fashionably late~ as she should! Here's what I ordered: -Spanakopita 20/10 -Atlantic Salmon | Solomos* 100/10 -Patates Riganates 10/10 -Baklava Cheesecake 20/10 YALL! Be for real! That food is delicious as fuuuuu! The portions are SERVED! After tearing up the appetizers, I ate one smaller piece of salmon and had food left over for two more meals. Come ON! The flavors are bold, the food was cooked to perfection. Salmon wasn't over or undercooked, I can taste it now. The potatoes were the perfect side. The dessert was incredible!!!!!! I ordered it to go so that I can enjoy it in the comfort of my home on my couch. Service was fantastic, ask for Brian. I'll see yall again upon my return.

Wonderful upgrade from the original YiaYia Mary's concept. Pappa's created a fun, vibrant, upscale Greek dining experience. Service was great, food was wonderful. Recommend adding this to your date night list.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Yiayia's Greek Kitchen, located at 2410 Richmond Ave. in Upper Kirby, Houston. Our reservation was for 6pm and although we arrived a bit early, we were seated immediately with no issue. The hostesses were absolutely lovely; kind, welcoming, and warm from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself is beautiful and inviting. Once seated, our waiter took the time to walk us through the entire menu since it was our first visit, which we truly appreciated. We decided to order several appetizers so we could sample a variety of dishes and wow, best decision ever. The Saganaki (flambé cheese) was a show stopper; unique, fun, and delicious. The Grilled Octopus had excellent flavor and a perfectly tender consistency. While the Spanakopita and Eggplant Dip were good, they felt a bit more basic compared to the standout dishes. The Keftedes meatballs were phenomenal; honestly some of the best I've ever had. The Patatas Riganates (lemon roasted potatoes) had a mild yet distinct flavor and were incredibly soft and satisfying. We also enjoyed the Gigantes, large beans cooked until perfectly tender in olive oil, oregano, and tomato. For dessert, we shared Yiayia's Baklava with Gelato, and it was amaaaaazing--an absolute must. I can't wait to go back. This experience was a solid 10 out of 10.

We had a great dinner at Yiayia's! The new space is beautiful--they totally redid the old Pappadeaux (both Yiayia's and Pappadeaux are Pappas restaurants). The space is just beautiful, and it's also really big. Service as perfectly nice. We liked everything we tried: -Octopus: The octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked and served with a slightly spicy sauce, so good. And unlike many other restaurants, Yiayia's octopus was large, plenty for a few people to share. -Hummus: The hummus, which was served with pita, was a great appetizer. I particularly liked that they topped the hummus with plenty of chickpeas. -Chicken Souvlaki: The chicken thighs were flavorful and very tender. And I loved the grains and little dollop of tzaiki that was served with the chicken. -Olive Bread: Served with butter, this appetizer comes out of the kitchen quickly (ours came out within minutes of ordering) and was a great snack while we were waiting for the rest of our food. My only complaint is that I would love more olives in the bread.

The reopening of a well loved restaurant is always a treat. We ate a lot of great food at the old location on San Felipe and 610 loop south. This new place is kind of a renewal of their old reliable Yia Yia Mary's. The food is the same but different. The hummus from the old restaurant tasted different but this one is good too. Some of their menu items stayed the same but lots were omitted. The menu is more streamlined and since they have only been open for a few months, they haven't hit their stride yet. Seafood is still the main attraction and they cook and serve it well. Our server was the icing on the cake. He made our meal so wonderful. He was extra attentive to our needs and boy, did we feel special! Our water glass was refilled instantly. Overall, this new Yia Yias check all the boxes for a great dining experience. The restaurant inside is spacious and warm at the same time. Had it been warmer, we would have eaten at their outside patio. It's not the Yia Yia's on San Felipe but at least it came back albeit in a different location.

Love Yaiyia's such a great addition to the Houston food scene. Love the aesthetics of the restaurant. The staff has been super helpful and friendly, and the food is very good and high-quality. There is an outdoor patio with chill vibes and a lively bar.

Had a dinner reservation here and I am so glad i chose this spot. Every dish were super flavorful and the service was great. The ambiance is nice, the restaurant is very large which is perfect for big group dinner. My only downside was the valet parking situation. The lot is huge, but about 2/3 of it was blocked off for valet, which didn't really make sense since you're literary less than 10steps from your car anyway. Luckily i found parking on the side of the restaurant. Overall it was a great dinning experience. I will come back to try more dishes and desserts. Pasta Lena 10/10 Lamb chop 9/10 Grilled octopus 10/10 Calamari 10/10

Went for Sunday family dinner. This used to be a family favorite, so my family eagerly awaited the reopening. First, the new restaurant is beautiful. Plenty of outdoor seating and the inside is so open. Look up to appreciate all of the unique lighting that they used. Such attention to details. We were seated at a booth with extra chairs added on the side. So comfy and cozy. The menu has been changed to fine dining with a Greek/Mediterranean twist. Started with the Saganaki. Who doesn't enjoy cheese on fire? The dates and pear gave the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Served with oven fresh pita bread. We also had the Greek little gem salad and the Patzaria. The red and gold beets with labneh, feta, walnuts and honey were so delicious. All of my favorites. For the mains, our table ordered fish and Moussaka. I love sea bass, so the Mediterranean sea bass was an obvious choice. The skordalia, blistered tomatoes and pearl onions were perfect sides. My husband's moussaka was on point as was his dad's salmon. For sides, we got potatoes. The Patates Riganates, lemon roasted potatoes, were a perfect Greek classic. The Greek Fries were also very good. No room for dessert. May have to come back for the chocolate sokolatopita. That chocolate cake looks delicious. Service from Nick was great. Thanks for adjusting our reservation. There is non-valet parking off to the side. Note the Evil Eye warning on the signs. Although I miss the gyros (used to pick them up for the girls on the way home from work), the new upscale Yia Yia's Pappas Greek Kitchen is a really wonderful place for a Sunday family dinner.

Fantastic spot and experience! The Gulf Snapper Crudo was our favorite, super fresh and well balanced. The grilled octopus was fantastic, tender with a great char (not rubbery at all). The chicken souvlaki was juicy and well-seasoned, definitely recommend. Drinks were solid too. Service was fantastic, super attentive and helpful throughout the night. Spot on with recommendations and walking us through the menu. Even though they were busy, ranger made a point to check on us frequently and ensure we are having a good time. Only small knock: it gets a little loud when it fills up, so if you have a couple people in your party I would recommend sitting outside to have a conversation. Overall, definitely coming back.

Had the pleasure of dining at the new Yiayia's to celebrate my birthday and our engagement. The restaurant is beautiful, lively, warm, and the ambience is welcoming. We arrived on time for our reservation and sat immediately. Everyone was so affable and congratulatory, even those who weren't tending to us. Our server was Frank and he was super attentive and wonderful. For an appetizer we had the dolmades with tzatziki which were super tasty, fresh, and had a great amount of meat in them. For dinner we got the rib eye souvlaki and youvetsi (I really wanted the sea bass but unfortunately they were out). The rib eye was perfectly cooked to temperature and had a really nice chimichurri like sauce on it with tzatziki on the side. The youvetski had a mix of their seafoods and each of them was perfectly cooked and paired well with the light and fresh brown butter and lemon based sauce. As a side we had the fries which were crispy and paired with a tzatziki sauce. For dessert we had the panna cotta which was well set, light, and had fresh fruit and a caramelizad sugar topping that added some great texture and flavor. Overall, our experience was great, the food tasty and filling and we plan to return!

My husband and I came here several times but the most recent time was for a our wedding rehearsal dinner with our entire bridal party (group of 14). We had gotten into contact with the GM and the Maitre d' to plan out the dinner and courses. We decided to go with a set menu, to avoid the kitchen from having to prepare 14 individual meals and instead eat family style based on the courses that my husband and I had pre-selected. Leading up to the rehearsal dinner, we did make some changes to the menu based on recommendations from the Maitre d' and it did add more variety to our menu vs what we had initially planned out. On the day of the dinner, at 7:30pm, our headcount was adjusted slightly (originally 18 and then finalized to 14) and the host and servers were so accommodating, removing a table and adding extra chairs to ensure that everyone had a seat and we were all comfortable. Throughout the night, we had several servers check in with us, refill our water glasses and take away any empty plates but also replace used plates with new ones. Out of our pre-selected menu, both my husband and i had hyped up several dishes, including the Atlantic Salmon and lamb chops which were our favorites. Unfortunately, when those items were brought out, there were alot of inconsistency in the cook. The Salmon was under seasoned and each piece was not cooked to the same temperature. I had a piece that was cooked to medium while 2 other individuals had pieces that were completely well done and dry. The lamb was flavorful but still had that gamey-ness that isn't enjoyable and that was all around what everyone who did try the lamb mentioned to me after the dinner. On the positive side, everyone enjoyed the appetizers and shareable plates at the start of the dinner, drinks were all on point and dessert was very enjoyable! Service was great! There was always someone available to cater to us if we needed anything and there was never an empty water cup or drink on the table! And all drinks, while it took a while to come out, all came out together which was nice because we could all cheers together and see who ordered what! I would definitely recommend coming to Yia Yia's for dinner but they may need more time to work out the kinks of hosting such a large dinner with multiple portions since we had multiple dishes of the same type to cater to a group of 14 people.

My appetizer was the saganaki, a delicious Greek pan fried cheese which they set on fire at the table. It was topped with sweet pears, giving it that dreamy sweet-and-savory combo. It was served with pita bread which tasted freshly baked For my side, I went with the spanakorizo, a vegetarian spinach and rice pilaf. It was tasty and well-seasoned, but I was expecting a little more on the portion side. My meal was the chicken souvlaki. Juicy, flavorful, marinated cubes of chicken thighs with the skin on--tender, savory, and packed with flavor. Someone in that kitchen knows exactly what they're doing. The ambiance was upscale and spacious. The staff were pleasant, and welcoming

Okay yia yia! Don't call it a come back! So I visited the new revamped restaurant formerly located off 610. And omg is this restaurant cuttte! From the exposed painted white bricks to the cute greek accents on the glass Pappas did their big one here! They feature valet and self parking! Upon walking up to the restaurant there is cute plush seating with a water fall feature for ambiance. The inside is large with ample seating and a large bar to the right when you enter. Our waiter Jeremy was awesome and helpful. What i like is when you are seated the staff opens your napkin and places it on your lap. Now they do have a relatively small menu, with plenty of libations to choose from. We tried the hummus, it comes with warm pita bread yum! We also ordered the saganaki and it also come with warm pita bread and is excellent! Plus they light it on fire when they present it. We also ordered the Atlantic Salmon which comes out as three squares? It was just okay.I ordered a side of lemon roasted potatoes which comes with a side of Greek yogurt dip. My friend ordered the seafood pasta which was seaoned perfectly with pesto. Honestly the saganaki is the star. I also ordered the ginger vesper which had an unexpected taste in my opinion. Overall a great meal with great service!

My husband and I walked in there on a Saturday night around 7 PM. We did not have reservations, but we sat at the bar the bartender and the weight staff took care of this immediately. This a beautiful restaurant with beautiful people. The food was amazing. My husband thought the Greek salad was the best he as ever eaten. We had a seafood pasta, and the sea bass. The pasta was amazing and the Seabass was great. I thought the Seabass was going to be Chilean Seabass , but it was a tender white fish. This will be one of our new places to go. I highly recommend reservations on the weekend. We love to sit at the bar and people watch. It was a great to do at this restaurant. Beautiful place with lots of beautiful people. It is a little noisy because it's busy, and has high energy .

WOW!!! Talk about a renovation. I used to go the old location near S. Post Oak all the time. This new location is an elevated atmosphere with beautifully played Greek food. We started off with several appetizers which were delicious and moved on to the main meal. Although all the apps were good, my fave appetizer was the octopus. It was flavorful and juicy. My prime rib kabob was tender and a good portion size. One of the ladies was not very satisfied with her lamb chops. Other than that, my only complaint is that I did not get the lemon pepper potatoes. The waiter gave good service and was on top of it and recommended the perfect mezcal since I preferred a tequila old fashioned.

The flavors at Yiayia's were wonderful! The restaurant has been open less than a week, but I couldn't tell because they seem to have their act together. Great service, Greek ambiance, top-notch service, and excellent dishes. We were greeted by almost every team member we passed as we were led to our table. I was pleased we were seated at a table for four with bench seating on one side and two chairs on the other side. They had it set up for us two to both sit on the bench side (we noted it was date night in our reservation). Sitting on the same side of the table gave us both the great view of the restaurant, the art, the beautiful painting of the Yiayia for whom it was inspired by, and the service crew at busy dinner time. We were seated next to a large group who had just received their plates and wow, the smells were amazing! Russell came to our table to tell us about the history, go over the menu, and take our drink orders. Drinks: ginger vesper and fig & orange old fashioned - both amazing! Food: gulf snapper crudo to start. Devine flavors and I savored every bite! Kalamata bread with butter - delicious! and we dipped the bread in the sauce from the crudo. Greek salad - best I've ever had. I love the little gem lettuce used. Salmon - cooked perfectly at medium/medium well and plenty to share! Horta (braised greens) were delightful, I loved the extra squeeze of lemon. With no room for dessert, we are returning ASAP!

WOW! Yiayia's is AMAZING! The new location absolutely nails it - outside, it's warm & inviting; inside, the lighting and ambiance create such a welcoming vibe! We chose to sit at the bar - any seat/table is a good spot. Our bartender was friendly, engaging and we met the Mixolgist! Let's talk food! Everything was fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. Presentation is spot on! Each bite was better than the last. Yiayia's has truly leveled up and I can't wait to come back!!!

Phenomenal experience this evening at Yiayia's! Our server Travis was incredible, he pronounced every dish properly and was great with the questions we had. As for food, we got a lot of items!! For the appetizers, we got the saganaki, octopus, and dolmathes. Each plate was absolutely delicious, my favorite part was dipping in the pita bread into the juices of the plate (Greek style ). For the main course, we got the ribeye souvlaki, red snapper, moussaka, and youvetsi. Each dish was cooked to perfection!! The flavors were bold and all worked well together. I was obsessed with the souvlaki! For sides, we got the patzaria (salad), spanakorizo, and gigantes. All of these were fabulous, I really loved the beets in the patzaria and the green beans for the gigantes had the perfect flavor. For dessert, we had the chocolate sokolatopita. Let me just say, it was so moist and rich! I was obsessed!! Lastly, for drinks we got the Yiayia's tonic, nefeli limonaki, and one more (I forgot the name). I was obsessed with the Yiayia's tonic, the flavors blended so well together!! Overall, I am so impressed with the ambiance and the modern Greek chic style. From right when we arrived to when we were leaving, I had zero complaints. I would definitely come back again!!

Service was really lovely (Charles). The ambiance is nice, a bit loud, but nice. The food was very good. Great flavors! Coffee was great. The cheesecake which is their signature dessert was ok. Taste more like a churro flavor. Would for sure have just the baklava next time.

This place is gorgeous! So beautifully decorated inside and out! There's a large sitting area up front and a nice dining area on the patio to the side. The interior is chic and modern, with beautiful light fixtures. The AC runs cold, but they have little blankets if you ask for it! The service is impeccable, ours was fantastic! Provided us with everything bf we needed in a timely manner and was super duper friendly. They have kids menus and crayons/activity sheet for the little ones! The food was delicious! All the dips were spot on and that warm pita was fantastic! My son loved the hummus, I loved the smoked eggplant dip, and my friend loved the caviar dip! The calamari was tender and the sauce was on point. The spanakopita was crispy and had fantastic flavors. My friends ended up ordering more appetizers as meals. Those of us that did order meals loved what we got. The moussaka had loads of cheese on top, the only negative feedback was that it was a bit too salty. My pasta Lena was cooked perfectly al dente and the seafood was fantastic. It included fish, shrimp, and scallops! I thought it included calamari but I could've read the menu wrong. The sea bass was the best dish, crispy skin and perfectly seasoned. I would order this dish next time! The kids menu contained a butter pasta, a meatballs in red sauce with noodles, and some chicken dish! There wasn't anything on the menu we didn't like - drinks were a bit on the sweet side but they have an amazing wine selection to choose from on top of cocktails. 100% would come back! Love how they've revamped to bring back Yia's Yia's!!

Yiayia's Greek Kitchen on Kirby is such a gem! The pita bread is to die for -- warm, soft, and perfect with their flavorful hummus. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, which made everything even better. The ambiance is so inviting -- the inside has the cutest Greek decor that really transports you, and the patio looks beautiful for a nice day out. Service was friendly and attentive too. We tried pasta Lema and grilled octopus along with lemon roasted potatoes which were all 10/10. Cant wait to come back for lamb chops!!!

Love everything Pappas. The drinks were solid. I had the shrimp. It was so good and was a large amount given the price. I'll be back

Outstanding!! The food is amazing! The hummus is one of the best. Calamari' is outstanding! I don't give this compliment lightly. Most places overcook calamari. This one is tender and fried in a yummy light batter. Fresh hot bread to go with. Fish was delicious, too. Beautiful ambience, too! I love their outdoor patio.

While I concede that the food is pretty good, the prices are crazily high. For example $40 for a chicken shish kabob with a side of green beans. And you'll need to add tax and tip on top of that. It's noisy, brightly lit and the "clientele" is dressed in a variety of ways (shorts, ball caps, tracksuits, etc) because there's apparently no dress code. The waitstaff run around with iPads from which they read the specials aloud. Food comes out quickly so it's a rushed experience. Honestly, this has the vibe and pricing of an airport restaurant.

Had a really wonderful experience here! We started off with the octopus and the fried calamari, both were delicious and well made. The octopus was very tender and the fried calamari came with a garlic aioli sauce. For our entrees, we got the ribeye souvlaki and the Youvetsi (grilled shrimp, scallops, octopus, kritharaki pasta, brown butter, olive oil). The youvetsi was my fav between the 2 entrees. For dessert, we got the panna cotta and the baklava cheesecake. Personally, I liked the panna cotta better. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. Our waitress, Isa, was amazing. Would highly recommend her if you decide to dine here. Everything was great from start to finish.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the experience was 5/5. The ambiance is an upscale homey vibe with stunning and detailed, tributary decor to Greece. All bartenders that served us were knowledgeable and genuinely excited to be working. That energy came across and allowed me to truly enjoy my dining experience. As for the food, everything I tried, I enjoyed. The Dolmades, Shrimp Athena, Saganaki, Keftedes, and Snapper Crudo were all amazing and wonderfully made in their own rights. Drinks were delicious and well balanced. I'll be back, great job Pappa's with paying homage to your roots.

Phenomenal food, highly recommend the dakos, the octopus and the kleftiko. Kudos to the chef for the truly authentic flavors. Service was superb, Pedro made the whole experience even better. Great ambiance, I read people's complaints about noise level, but I didn't think it to be louder than any big and busy restaurant. Overall a great experience, I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes!

Such a family friendly spot. The service is incredible. I don't think we had a single appetizer, main course or dessert we didn't like! Perfect for all ages! The shrimp and seabass are my absolute favorite!

The food, service and ambiance were amazing at Yia Yia Mary's. I went with some friends and we shared a bunch of small plates and everything was delicious. We had spanakopita, Tzatziki with pita bread, the saganaki with pita, keftedes, olive bread, beef and lamb dolmades, moussaka, baklava cheeecake and the chocolate cake with gelato. Sam was our server and he was great, he offered recommendations and was so friendly. The restaurant is gorgeous! Parking was not bad, they had valet as well. I definitely recommend going! You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed our dinner. The place is beautifully built out. The food, was outstanding. Best hummus ever. Tye drinks and service were too shelf. My only negative is how loud it is inside. Very hard to hear our conversation. They really need to mitigate the loudness issue.

Forget everything you remember from the old Yia Yia Mary's on Richmond and 610. Gone are Gyros, Pork Souvlaki and cold Feta Cheese. Now you get Salmon with Moroccan Spice - Why Moroccan spice at a Greek Restaurant ? Heavy load of Sesame Seeds on Tzaziki. Why Sesame on Tzaziki ? Prices and Presentation went up and Quality and Authenticity went down. The only item we enjoyed was the Calamari. So sad.

I've been waiting for years for this place to reopen. If you never visited the original location you need to give it a try. Food, drinks and desert were amazing. Nico our waiter was very informative and service was great as well. I missed the lamb chops which I was praying it would still be on the menu and it was but with added ingredients. Btw the mashed potatoes that were under the chops were tasty! We had spanakopita as an appetizer, I didn't want to agree with my boyfriend but he said they were better then the Greek festival and they were. Pistachio ice cream was still on the menu but they failed to bring the pastry bowl that comes with it, please bring it back. The restaurant was beautiful and the outside as well the only thing is I'm not sure how the parking is going to be. Majority of it was blocked for valet which I'm not a fan of doing. Will definitely be going back and trying new items,I tend to order the same thing.

Food and service were very good though expensive. WAY TOO LOUD! Hard to talk to each other. Felt like leaving a rock concert when we finally got outside.

One word: Saganaki This flaming cheese dish was to die for! They light it on fire tableside, such a cool experience. The flavor of the cheese was exquisite, a little bit sweet and very rich. If you consider yourself to be a cheese person you must get this dish. My mom and I stopped in to grab some appetizers and a drink before dinner. We also got the eggplant dip which was delicious. The drinks were fun and creative. I'll for sure have to come back for dinner!

The restaurant offers limited menu selection, however, the interior ambiance is notably noisy. Visually, the restaurant presents an appealing aesthetic both internally and externally. The quality of service provided can be considered satisfactory.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday here and had an outstanding experience. From the warm welcome to the last bite, service was attentive and genuinely excellent. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and even the drinks were spot-on. The ambiance is cozy and festive--perfect for a special occasion. One tiny suggestion: the baklava cheesecake tasted more like cheesecake topped with baklava; a layered or infused version would make it next-level. Otherwise, everything was phenomenal. We'll definitely be back!

The ambiance was amazing! Elevated vibe- great for a date night or small family night. The food was INCREDIBLE- favorite entree was the sea bass, and the chocolate cake was TO DIE FOR. Highly recommend both! Honorable mentions for the Moussaka and the Athena shrimp!

Truly a gem. Loved this place from the ambiance when you walk in, to the amazing and innovative cocktails, to the amazing entrees and desserts. It was arguably as good or better food than we got while in Greece. It's a little loud indoors but it adds to the lively and vibrant dining room. The service was also impeccable. It's easily our favorite pappas restaurant.

Probably the worst greek food I have ever eaten. We came as a group of 5, with friends that traveled to Greece several times. Very disappointed, especially considering the amount of anticipation. Upon arrival, having indoor reservation for 7pm, we immediately asked to be seated outside due to indoor noise level. We ordered several different appetizers - saganaki (awful, not even close to the real deal.... cheap cheese set aflame topped with some sweet fruit concoction and drizzled with lemon juice); greek salad contained lettuce, which disqualifies it as greek; spanakopita was decent, as well as grilled octopus. Very limited main course menu. I was expecting to see gyros, no such luck. My daughter ordered chicken souvlaki and had to leave half of it on the plate by having to discard chewy nonedible parts. Moussaka was very dry and lacked the taste of eggplant all together. Patates riganates we ordered as appetizers but didn't arrive until after the main course. Although service was ok, and although some of the appetizers were taken off the bill due to late arrival, we will not be back. Mediocre food at best.

Six of us finally tried this dinner-only high end restaurant and liked its Greek Cuisine. Even better when one of the party revived a main dish that used sheep's milk and could not eat it, they happily replaced it with one of their chicken dishes. I had the fish and my wife, the shrimp and scallops. Both were very good. My vegetarian guests were very happy with the menu . We had several appetizers including their squash, lamb/beef balls and other recommended favorites. All were good. I really loved their chocolate desert cake as it was surprisingly not overly rich, but light and delicious. Meanwhile the other guests had the baklava and loved it. Service by Salina was perfect. The place is beautiful.
