Where to Eat and Drink in Dogpatch, San Francisco - Eater SF

"Yield is pretty unassuming as far as SF wine bars go, but that's a good thing. There are some comfy seats by the windows, some not-so comfy stools at the bar, and an awesome wine selection, all of which were picked “with the environment in mind.” This means all of the wineries from which the wines come are sustainable in practice with a few being certified organic and certified biodynamic. There are also bar bites, slightly less substantial now than pre-pandemic, but still offers cheese plates, stuffed dates, and warm artichoke, kale, and Parmesan dip." - Daisy Barringer, Eater Staff

Google
Great selection of wines. The little bites menu is nice. Sometimes wish there were more options but this place is awesome overall. Oh, if you're lucky, you might get to meet the dogs too!

The wine is good. People are generally nice and the venue is dog friendly. But today my friend and I got scolded for not donating to the art exhibit at the venue. I wish it were clearer that donations were due in order to be a patron at the venue during the event because that was different from how we were led to believe initially.

The wine was great! The owner is really friendly, they have put together a really good wine selection. Also, they have cute dogs that you can pet for free 😁

When I lived in Dogpatch, this was my "cheers" bar. Beyond having great wine in a cute shop, the ambiance is so relaxing. I love that I can bring my dog, and the staff treats you like family. Even though I have moved to a different part of SF, I still will make the trip to Dogpatch just to visit my fav wine bar!

Very impressed by how good the food and wine were here (cheeseboard with manchego cheese and Asian pears = delicious!) My wife and I came on a Saturday early evening and it wasn’t packed at all. The outside admittedly doesn’t look very flashy, which is all the better because the ambience and food/drinks inside are great! Our server was quite nice and humored my attempts to try ordering in French, which I much appreciated.

Had such a great visit here! Their locally sourced food and wine selection are fantastic- plus the dog scene/dog friendliness of the outdoor area was very happening! Can’t wait to come back and you’d be missing out to overlook stopping at the Yield Wine Bar.

Friendly folks and tasty wine. I'm so happy Yield is finding creative ways to continue to stay open. It is a hidden gem in dogpatch. I do miss trivia nights, and hope someday we will have the opportunity to enjoy in the future. I also appreciate the wine delivery services they offer. Thank you Chris!!

Google
It's going into a wine bar and feeling comfortable. This isn't a place that's going to make you feel bad for asking about wines either. They know it's a casual joint with some great wine and that's exactly what makes it so attractive. A good place to come after a day at work to chill.

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood! Relaxing atmosphere and it was easy to find a glass of wine to try as they have some great choice. Highly recommend. Perfect spot or a date night.

Yelp
Phenomenal experience! We visited for our team's happy hour event, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. We had a great time! This is such a cute and cozy wine bar that opened just a few months ago. We planned this a day before, but they were very accommodating and flexible for a large party like ours, offering various options to make our experience comfortable. We ordered some food, and everything arrived quickly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The wine experience at Gather, the newly rebranded wine bar that was once Yield, is not to be missed on Third Street. From their white burgundy and Albarino selections to a tempting carte of red wines, Gather caters to wine enthusiasts of all tastes with great, friendly servers and a delightful, airy ambiance with velvet chairs and mahogany tables. One standout recommendation is their furikake mix, a delightful fusion of sweet and savory that adds a nice touch. They also offer a milk tea blondie that also looks amazing and have a selection of charcuterie boards to indulge in. By supporting this local gem, you'll be savoring exquisite wines and contributing to our community's vibrancy. Gather is a must-visit destination that promises a feast for the palate and the soul. Cheers to indulging in the pleasures of fine wine at Gather!

Yelp
Cute little wine place that opened up in the Dogpatch neighborhood! They serve both wine and small bites. We got seated immediately and service was quick. They also partnered with Marcella's Lasaagneria to serve full meals for a small dining fee.

Yelp
Went for the first time with a friend and every wine we tried was phenomenal. Our server was very friendly. We were there on a night when you can order from Marcella's. It's takeout/delivery, but they plate it up and serve it to you. We had their own mezze plate too which was good. I wish they had more food options, but the fantastic selection of tasty wines makes up for that. It's a very quaint, cozy place which just has a nice feel to it. Excited to go back!

Yelp
Great wine of course. Buy by the bottle. Prices are very reasonable. Love the Black Hammer beer too. Food selection continues to impress.

Yelp
Stopped by en route to dinner nearby. Great cozy vibe, friendly staff. Well-curated selection of interesting wines, not in wide distribution. We will return!

Yelp
Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! The hubs and I just moved back to Potrero after being in Oakland for 7 years, and were thrilled to see the old Yield spot had gotten a major revamp! The interior is gorgeous and inviting. As soon as you walk in, the friendly staff welcome you and make you feel at home. The manager, Franz, told us about all the wines and was super knowledgeable. We loved our wines and the olive tapenade is not to be missed! Perfect salty snack to accompany wine and the crackers that came with it were so unique and yummy! We will try more food next time. We also met the owner, Rob, who was a very nice guy and welcomed us back to the neighborhood. All in all, a great experience. We can't wait to go back and try more wines. They let you try any wine for a very small ($2-3) fee, which is so nice. Often I feel guilty bothering the bartender asking to taste several wines if I can't find one I like right away. They also let you buy any bottle to go for 30% off the menu price which is great.

Yelp
This is my new favorite place to sip and swirl wine in San Francisco. The owner and staff are welcoming and well-versed in wine and can help you choose a vintage that is sure to delight. The space is elegant and comfortable. Highly recommend the charcuterie board but really anything on the menu at Gather is excellent, fresh and top-quality.
