"This Inner Sunset staple comes from a crew of winemakers, lavender latte wizkids, and, yes, tamale makers. It’s a bit of an “if you know, you know” situation since the shop doesn’t offer its tamales regularly. But sometimes seasonal specials fold in Jimmy Nardello peppers or honeynut squash, and when the four-packs of vegetarian tamales make an appearance, the cantina’s loyal fans mash the purchase button." - Becky Duffett, Eater Staff
"Yo También Cantina stocks Grand Coffee, also on this list, helping owners Isabella Bertorelli and Kenzie Benesh make Hugo Street a coffee haven. Bertorelli used to work at the Wooly Pig, the café that was in the same location just a few years ago, and the couple’s cafe holds the same great reverence for neighbors and fans. The parklet, both gorgeous and accessible, is the perfect place to enjoy the signature Oatly Lavender Cold Brew for $5 with a breakfast cookie." - Paolo Bicchieri, Lauren Saria

"Yo Tambien Cantina, home of the lavender latte and a stunning wood parklet in the Inner Sunset, is also a venue where Kenzie Benesh and Isabella Bertorelli, the wife-and-wife owners, will release their first public-facing, for-sale wine — dubbed Agnes — on October 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the cafe at 205 Hugo Street. The wine-making venture, called Wimpleton, involves friends and is a hyper-collaborative project with grapes from Annie Courtens of Filigreen Farms in Anderson Valley. The cafe’s release party will feature the East Bay’s Cream Co. hot dogs, music inside the cafe, and age-appropriate alternatives to wine for kids. Bottles are priced as marked, with a glass of Agnes available for $13." - Paolo Bicchieri
"In the pop-up’s early stages at places like Yo Tambien Cantina, dinners cost $200." - Paolo Bicchieri
