Zinque - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"All-day DTLA restaurant Zinque is a spot where you’ll come in the morning to order some coffee and get a bit of work done, and before you know it, it’s 4pm, you’re three glasses of rosé deep, and have written half of a novel. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Inviting New Zinque Cafe Serves French Favorites in Downtown LA Until Late Every Night | Eater LA

"On Broadway near the Ace Hotel, a newcomer will bring craft cocktails and Parisian staples: Zinqué is set to open in a couple of weeks, anchoring a long-dormant space right next to the Ace Hotel’s busy theater. I'm familiar with Zinqué from its Venice, West Hollywood, and Newport Beach locations; the French-leaning cafes do a bit of everything — pastries and bread (the latter imported from Paris’s Poilâne Bakery) and coffee in the morning, salads and sandwiches for lunch, casual wine dinners with lots of mood lighting, and a weekend brunch that has been a big hit. This Fashion District–adjacent location plans a full bar and casual seating inside with low wraparound cafe chairs, scrubbed cement walls, lots of worn wood and brassy accents, plus a sidewalk patio out front and all-day hours from 7 a.m. to midnight (2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday); expect an opening most likely next week." - Farley Elliott

We were going to a concert at the United Theater and had intended to Uber down to another restaurant about 6 blocks away. We thought, why would do that when we could just eat here. We are so glad we did. The food was perfectly perfect, every bite better than the next. We had a bottle of wine, shimp appetizer, short ribs and banzino whole white fish. Worth every penny our server Sarah was super sweet and very attentive. Will be coming back for more.

We love this place and sometimes come here for breakfast. It's clear that they love animals here, as soon as we arrived, they brought us a bowl of clean water. The late breakfasts are excellent

Zinqué has a great vibe in the heart of DTLA, with a stylish indoor/outdoor setup that makes it perfect for a casual meal or drinks. The burger and fries I tried were tasty, with the patty cooked well and the bun soft and fresh. The fries were crispy and paired nicely with the dipping sauces. Service was friendly and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed yet lively.

Food was awesome! Self ordering QR code is convenient and doesn't take long. Service is pretty quick and the quality is there!

Google
Very nice place with good menu, though... We don’t eat spicy food and we ordered salmon plate which was good (there was an option to put spicy sauce on the side instead of having it in the dish). The other thing we ordered was a grilled chicken sandwich which was extremely spicy despite the listed ingredients that didn’t have anything spicy in it. Sriracha sauce was on the side as well so it wasn’t the reason. By the end I found that the sandwich had jalapeños mixed into coleslaw which wasn’t mentioned in the ingredients… for people who cant eat spicy food it’s very important. I absolutely hate wasting food and had to eat most of it, but only if the jalapeños were mentioned in the menu, this could be avoided. Some people have sensitive digestive systems and this kind of details absolutely have to be mentioned. The desert menu is good. Chocolate mouse was great.

Great happy hour spot. Food is mainly tapas style, good proportions. Cocktails are pretty good too. I have been here a few times and it never disappoints.

Google
What a cool spot with a cool vibe! I came in just to have their baklava coffee, which is so good and ended up getting a few appetizers for happy hour. Three appetizer items for $22 for happy hour, can’t beat that. Also, I treated myself to a freshly squeezed juice called the sunrise. There are people coming in after work, just having a drink, meeting up with friends, there were some business meetings, everyone was there! Their servers were really awesome, and they were on top of it. My cup never ran low water because the servers were refilling my cup every time they walked by. The french fries were really yummy, the chicken wings were delicious and the deviled eggs were one of my favorites. There’s a parking lot right next to the Restaurant for $15 for the entire day and that made it really easy to get to the restaurant. If possible, call to make reservations to save yourself a seat because this place gets busy.

Yelp
Zinque is such a charming little gem tucked away on the bustling Broadway street. Despite being in the heart of the city's energy, it offers a peaceful and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed meal. The food is absolutely amazing, with every dish full of fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the service is equally impressive--attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. It's a spot that feels like a hidden oasis, making it the perfect place to unwind and indulge. We had the Greek lasagna which was scrumptious followed by the tuna tartare tartine. You will not be disappointed, check it out. Parking was $12 and a couple of business away; they require cash but there is an ATM there, strategically placed for your convenience.

Yelp
Came here to enjoy a dinner before a late movie, upon check in I noticed some outdoor tables near fire pits which seemed very nice for outdoor ambiance maybe a brunch but it was too cold to enjoy outside. Host led us to a high top table and seemed very causal about everything also wearing casual clothing so he could easily be mistaken for a guest which seems off putting in my opinion. Came with the intent on enjoying their DineLa menu but it was not offered upon seating I had to later ask for it after our server came to introduce himself. I strongly feel it should always be courteously offered in addition to regular menus but maybe that's just me. I feel the DineLa menu had very different things to offer which is good however the options don't seem to be their popular dishes from my guess. A friend and I opted for the artichoke hearts and a broccoli curry which very much seemed like a soup instead of a curry. The alleged curry was a very deep green with nothing really inside and came with two slices of bread, I feel the appetizer could have been made with something more, maybe something in the curry? Maybe more than two piece of bread? The artichoke hearts were what saved the appetizer part of the meal in my opinion they came with Caesar dressing as a dip, very tasty! Just the right fried crispy texture. The entrees are where it becomes odd. We ordered the Coq Au Vin, which is essentially chicken and some potatoes, onions, baby mushrooms and diced carrots. This tasted how thanksgiving smells if that makes sense, but also was a tad underwhelming. It was too much like a soup with too much in the dish to grasp any actual solid flavor. We also ordered the Spanish chickpea curry which was the best thing in my opinion, sorry to say everything else was just fine. This dish had a warm essence to it; paired with bread this was my favorite. We turned to dessert and both opted for the chocolate item they offered on the menu, this was more like a chocolate brownie type with a scoop of vanilla on top. This was very tasty but nothing special. All in all I would likely not be back, the experience was just fine, service was fine.

Yelp
I love Zinque, it's a trendy brunch spot that offers a variety of dishes. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The Moules-Frites were delicious, rich and comforting. The fries were crisp, and and ideal for smoking up the sauce. I laso had the Avocado Salad with chicken, it was light yet satisfying. The creamy avocado and nutty Comte paired beautifully with the bright, juicy tomatoes and crisp greens. The chicken was fresh and tender. Everything we ordered were very satisfying, and atmosphere was cool relaxed energy. its definitely a spot worth returning too.

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Spacious upscale-casual eatery with a diverse menu. We came here for breakfast while staying at the STILE hotel next door. We came mainly out of convenience, but they ended up impressing us with great food and service. We were up quite early so there were no crowds and we were able to get seated right away. The place is impressively large with a pleasant modern feel, but it can get filled up, especially later in the day. We'd walked by it the night before and it had looked pretty busy. They offer a lot of (but not overwhelming number) items on their menu. We were glad to see a good amount of vegetarian options. I got a coffee and the smoked salmon toast and the hubby got the breakfast bowl. We were both very impressed with the quality of the food, and thought the friendly, attentive service was great as well. We also thought the prices were reasonable for the quality. This would be one of our top choices the next time we're in the area.

Yelp
Overall I wouldn't say this place is bad but also not great, especially considering the prices. We ordered the Salmon and Rigatoni Bolognese and both seemed like dishes we could easily make better at home, especially the pasta. The drinks were pretty good however and the restaurant interior felt nice and moody.

Yelp
Great place to get dinner whether you plan for something serious or casual! Their outdoor patio is really nice and clean as well. They are dog friendly and I'd say most of the staff want to show love towards your pets. I got the steak frites and it was so wonderful; the medium rare was cooked beautifully. The steak tasted so tender and it fit so well with the light but crispy fries. The portion for the steak frites felt small for me compared to its price but I'd definitely come back and enjoy it again.

Yelp
I love Zinqué. Solid food and great vibes with great service. I've tried their Newport location as well and can say the food is consistent. With that being said every dish we've tried here was good. If I had to give a recommendation, the burger is a solid choice. The steak frites is an alright choice, but nothing stood out for us. The burrata board is my favorite dish on the menu. We also tried their coffee this time and it also did not disappoint. Overall, it's solid food that is consistent! Service and ambience as well. Consistent and solid.

If I could give this place a 4.5 I would. Food was good and service was great. A nice restaurant w a good mix of casual and upscale ambience. Song to listen to while eating: Weird Fishes / Arpeggi - Radiohead

Yelp
Yummmmy Food! First impression: I walked by this restaurant several times and thought, wow this place is small. Then one day, decided to head in to place a to go order and oh my... I was totally wrong. This place was actually a nice sized restaurant. Location: It is located in the Fashion District of Los Angelos on Broadway! If you know where West Elm is, you definitely can find this place. Not far from CVS. Ambiance: This place is happening with its eclectic vibe. There is a patio and large windows which give you an indoor/ outdoor feel. Service: Each time we went in, we were greeted with a smile. The servers are also very knowledgeable in that they were able to describe the dishes I inquired about and even showed me pictures on their handheld device. The Food: I ordered LeBowl (with Chicken) and it was delicious. The combination of flavors and around in your mouth. The portion size initially looks like it will not be enough, but I couldn't even finish it and I'm eating for 2. I also ordered the Brussel Sprouts which sounded soooo yummy, but they were a bit of a disappointment. The basalmic that they used was probably not a reduction and it over powered any other flavors that were meant to shine. I just personally think they were maybe rushing and put too much. it also made the Sprouts super soggy. They may want to rethink the ingredients on this one. Parking: This place was super close to our hotel, so we walked there, but there appeared to be a paid parking lot near by. Not sure if it has 24 hour or any security. So you may want to inquire before parking! It's a great find and a cute gem. I recommend it for sure!

Yelp
Overall a great experience! We made a reservation for lunch on a Saturday and got seated right away when we got here. We were mostly looking at the brunch menu and I got the breakfast burrito (added bacon) and the iced matcha latte. The breakfast burrito has just the right amount of flavors and packed with nutrients (quinoa, eggs, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and greens). I love how you can get the matcha latte unsweetened! The overall ambience is pretty nice and our servers were friendly!

Yelp
A group of eight of us were going to the Orpheum theater down the street so we reserved a table at Zinque, which is right next to United Artist Ace theater. The interior and bar is warm but very dark as the light rain outside caused the doors to Broadway to be closed. By the way, walk down Broadway to visit some extraordinary buildings like Tower (now the Apple flagship), the Ace Hotel, Bradbury Building and the Orpheum. We sat on a large high top table that wasn't the most comfortable. I ordered a house salad and the gluten free rigatoni bolognese that was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food selections ordering everything but the kitchen Zinqué so that was the point after all of coming here.

Daniel L.

Yelp
My favorite salad bowl ever. Love the cheeses. Salad is fresh & the chicken & beets mix well. I wish I could eat this for lunch every day.

Yelp
I've been to Zinque a few times for lunch and have always had a pretty solid experience. The parking sitch is not great (such is downtown LA in general), so definitely make some time to hunt down a metered spot. They offer indoor and outdoor seating - you either get your steak frites with a side of LA transient chaos or you can dive into your favorite sandwich in the safety of indoor darkness. Our waitress was an absolute DOLL. She was so sweet and attentive without being annoying; I will give the service a whopping 5/5. Let's get into the food.. Full disclaimer, I'm a failure and forgot to take a picture of the menu so we're really guesstimating the names here. - Steak Frites: Highly recommend going with the chimichurri side - chef's kiss. The fries are skinny and crunchy, so basically perfect. The steak was good, but nothing to write home about. - Mushroom Pasta: The sauce was RICH. DECADENT. DELIGHTFUL. The pasta was al dente and it was kind of everything. Highly recommend. - Burrata/Prosciutto/Fruit App: All of my favorite things in one and it was alright. The prosciutto didn't seem that fresh, which I think was the ultimate culprit. - Fresh Berry Crumble (dessert): This was SO good and not overly sweet. - Warm Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie + Vanilla Ice cream: A classic. You'd have to be violently incompetent to screw this one up. Lastly, we tried their Mezcalita cocktail (the one with pineapple). This was a perfectly balanced situation - not overly sweet and had a little kick. It is a little on the pricier side, but like I said - a solid spot if you're in the area and want to walk in without worrying about reservations/being in a super packed spot.

Yelp
Went t a concert at the vista, aka the former ace hotel. Made reservations for Zinque and was excited to try it... but the service from the jump was trash. Sat there for 10 minutes in a dark table, with no water.. no menu... no candle. Watched the waiter acknowledge everyone else except me. The restaurant had several empty tables and asked I could move to a better lit table.. the waiter said he'd confirm with the host another 10 minutes..finally moved tables.. guess what folks another 10 minutes before I had to flag someone to take my order... trash service. Now let's not be bitter Betty's .. the burratta Was fresh with some amazing bread to boot! Tried the tuna tartare it was good, but it was a poke toast bread.. uh where's the tartare. Restaurant is dimly lit.. with few candles here and there they could really use some more.. perhaps from the dollar tree? Place was good but forgettable.. zinque is more like Zilch... no gracias. Go to tacos Mexico next door...

Yelp
My mom and I came here before going to a show at the United Theatre next door. This place has a great vibe and a large menu. Our waitress was awesome despite being incredibly busy! I had a cocktail that was delicious and the saffron rice appetizer which was amazing. The steak was a little tough for my liking but the French fries were probably the best thing I've ever had. They offered a good selection of gluten free options which I was super excited to see. I will definitely be returning but not on a Saturday night because even at 5pm it was pretty loud inside.

Yelp
Celebrated my daughter's birthday here and everything was DELICIOUS! Service was incredibly good, vibe and location were great, parking nearby. LOVED it and excited there are multiple locations! Dinner menu contained zero soy in entrees and very customizable. Note they do charge gratuity on party of five automatically but server let us know. Very happy.

Yelp
Cmae to ZINQUÉ for a work lunch and there was no line to get in or get seated. We walked over to this super convenient (for us) location so no oarking was needed. At this time of the day, we line up at the bar to get our food order in, then we seat ourselves, and then out food will be brought out to us. I ordered the MOULE FRITES because I love mussels and haven't some in a while. The space is awesome and very conducive to relaxing and avoiding shop talk. The staff are patient and friendly. We didn't have to wait long before our food was brought out. The other thing I love about this place is that they offer breakfast items for lunch. I love breakfast food.
google avatar

Yelp
I was next door for a comedy show and decided to have a glass of wine with the hubby. I haven't been here in about a year and the one thing that stood out last time was their burrata. I wasn't able to capture their picture but it was definitely delicious with the prosciutto and the pear. I LOVE their Lebowl it's so yummy!! The steak was disappointing. Overall it was a pleasant dinner and the place is inviting for some good conversations.

Yelp
my husband I stayed at a hotel Nextdoor to Zinque and loved the staff so much that we wound up eating there every single day of our 7 night stay. the food both breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The ambiance and music added to the feel of it being like a second home for us. We were always warmly greeted, chatted up, and suggestions were always made to try different items on the menu and at the bar. we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant.

Yelp
Well, well, well! I stumbled upon this little gem while exploring the area from my FEMA housing at Hoxton (another review?). I've had a few things on the menu, but once I tried the morning bowl! Well I'm hooked. My daughter and I share the bowl adding an extra egg. The portion is super generous so for two medium appetites, this satisfies and fully nourishes the body. So much good stuff in this bowl. I'm not a chickpea fan, but in this bowl they are toasted to crunchy perfection and none of the taste that makes me frown up my mouth is there at all. There are so many tempting things on the menu! The staff is friendly, fast and accommodating. If you find yourself in the area, DO try out this spot! You will definitely find something on the menu that captures your attention! Cheers!

Yelp
Had the BEST experience at Zinque last night! We reservations at another restaurant close by; however, 30 mins after reservation time, there was no indication we would be seated. Luckily, Zinque was a few minutes walking distance away, and even though we didn't have a reservation, they had us seated right away! Service was EXCEPTIONAL. The servers were super attentive and food came out quick! Huge HUGE shoutout to Curtis for taking care of my family and I for the night, we were honestly in a really terrible mood coming into dinner due to what happened at the first restaurant and he completely turned it around and everyone left happy! Food was also delicious - some favorites of the table were the fried artichokes, green lasagna, and the beef bolognese. If you're ever in DTLA and looking for a place with great vibes, this is it! I will def be back in the future!
google avatar

Isabelle P.

Yelp
I got the bolognese pasta and it was yummy! I think the portion was perfect for me. I didn't get anything else but I wanted to get a drink (had to work early next morning). Definitely coming back for the pasta and trying some drinks!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but there's nothing really to rave about. Fried Artichoke 2/5 The coated breading wasn't crispy nor did it have any flavor. The artichokes itself weren't salted and the lemon was the only flavor we could taste. Skip this one. Brussel Sprouts 2/5 These came burnt! The balsamic coating was good but couldn't mask the burnt flavor (way more than a crispy char). Steak Frites 3/5 Decent steak frites and peppercorn sauce but nothing special. The fries were thin and crispy though. Bucatini in Mushroom Sauce 4/5 Best thing we ordered! The sauce was sooo creamy and paired so well with the variety of mushrooms. Recommend this one. Would not come back here for dinner but have heard great things about their brunch food so might have to update this. *Note, there's a vast drink menu and it's pretty dark and intimate in this restaurant so it's the perfect place for a date or catching up with friends.

Yelp
I recently went to Zinque for lunch with my coworkers. The aesthetic is very cute. I loved the dinnerware and cups that were used. The staff were very friendly. We came for an early lunch and typically, you place your order by phone using a QR code. They were kind enough to provide wait service, since we had a large party. They had a pretty big selection of food and drinks. I had the tuna tartine and quinoa salad. I also had a delicious matcha latte with oat milk. I enjoyed all of it. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Fabulously fun place for brunch!! The food and cocktails are amazing!! Great outdoor patio and the staff and servers were all very friendly and welcoming! We went for brunch and had the best quiches! The dinner menu is just as delicious! Definitely worth trying!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute place for a quick lunch! The ambiance is nice and they have a large dining area, I think people can easily come here for business meetings also. One thing that was slightly odd for me was that this place seemed a bit too nice to be asking their patrons to order via QR code. I had the salmon lox, and asked for it to be upgraded on a croissant. It was the best!! Portion was just right, and I liked the side salad that I added. The salad dressing was light, vinegary, just perfect for a quick light lunch. Since I walked here I don't have to deal with parking, but I imagine it can't be easy in downtown LA. They have some street spots in front of the restaurant but easiest if you can walk there.
google avatar

Sadel S.

Yelp
We came to Zinqué before heading into the Theater at Ace Hotel to see Michelle Buteau! I had reservations (made via OpenTable), and they were promptly ready for us! We got seated along the wall closest to the entrance. We loved the pillows and spacious area between tables! That's not always possible. Our servers were so kind and helpful. There was a trainee shadowing our server, and we would not have ever noticed if they hadn't told us. They were awesome! The food was good (bolognese and burger) but, I wouldn't say anything really made the dishes stand out. There was a lot of bread compared to the burgers insides, but again, it was good. I wouldn't say this is a place I HAVE to go back to. I'm glad I did visit it at least once. Parking is a bit rough in this area. Your best shot is to park in a lot nearby and most are cash only. The one located on the same block was $30 cash. If you're going to a show nearby, I'd recommend stopping in...even if it's just for a drink.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Date night dinner with the best ambiance. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I had steak & frites that was cooked exactly as I wanted it & Roasted Brussels sprouts for appetizers. Hubby had Grass fed beef burgers. He stated the best burger he had in a long time.

Yelp
Came here right after a showing of the Spanish Version of Dracula, accompanied by the LA Opera orchestra ...@UnitedArtistTheateronBroadway; what a gorgeous old LA theater! Was Looking for close and walkable restaurant and this was right down the street. Got seated immediately. Great wine and cocktail selection. Sat outside, watched people go by. It's downtown so if you aren't willing to deal with all the street level of activity-sit inside. The food was great. Ordered a few tapas and a couple glasses of nice Sancere. Wait staff very friendly and prompt on service. Would definitely come back here.

Yelp
Ordered medium rare steak, got well done.. super chewy steak was 1/10, only reason why this place gets 1 star is that the fries were at least good.

Yelp

Yelp
Pretty disappointed in the service here. I went with 2 friends and 2 of us got our food at once and the other girl waited another 10-15 mins for her dish. We even had to flag down the waiter and ask about her food. We think he forgot about it. When I complained about the timing, he said he would send a manager, then came back said he can comp us a dessert. We were already running late to a show so declined. He then gave us a 20% on her meal (around $5 off) which is nothing. The waiter was good overall but waiting for a meal for that long is ridiculous and they should have comped it!

Yelp
Husband and I made reservations here before going to a show at the Orpheum last night. Overall, I thought our experience at Zinqué DTLA was wonderful. The staff were great and attentive, the decor, furniture, and lighting were chic, and the food was tasty. Clams - 8.2/10 because they were decently sized clams, the chorizo added deeper flavor, and the tomato and white wine sauce was great but I also wish there was more spice to the sauce. Tuna tartare tartine - 8.5 because it was pretty unique! I wasn't sure how it would work with the pesto but the flavor was delightful. The bread was too toasted though and my husband was a little nervous with each bite because of his veneers. Ratatouille - 7.6 I'm generally not a fan of ratatouille but our server recommended it and this actually surprised me with its depth of flavor. Pretty good when it was spread on the toast. Coq au vin - 7.5 I really thought this was going to be the star of the night but I was quite disappointed. The flavor was good but TOO savory (if that even makes sense) and I enjoyed the veggies. Though it did feel like the big flavor of the sauce and the plethora of veggies were meant to distract from the chicken because the meat itself wasn't that great. I expected the chicken to be more tender and juicy and was kinda let down. The restaurant was packed when we got there and it was about a 45min wait for my coq au vin to come out but I understand how crazy the kitchen must've been during the dinner rush. Still giving this place full stars though bc there wasn't a big enough issue to dock any points. I'm curious to try out the OC location in Newport now!

Yelp
Lunch at Zinqué was a delight! The vegan tomato sandwich totally hit the spot. Big shoutout to our super friendly waiter with the beard. I wish I remembered his name because he made the experience even better with his warm and attentive service. If you're looking for a spot in the middle of everything with great vibes, this is it.

Yelp
This restaurant was amazing! We tried to go to brunch at another restaurant that was just not up to par. We had a group of eight ladies and. Zinque was able to accommodate us and help us celebrate my birthday. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was great. We definitely need to visit again.

Yelp
Absolutely loved being served at Zinqué today, if your in the Los Ángeles area stop by for a bite or a drink. Definitely recommend an Expresso Martini... Ask for the French guy he's the best bartender.

Yelp
We were headed to a show at the Ace Theatre so why not try the restaurant about 20 feet from the entrance! Zinqué is a French-ish restaurant serving plenty of vegetarian options, all of which we tried were delicious. We were tended to by three different servers which, once we understood they share tables was fine, though it seems that they didn't realize that the previous one had already been to us so it was a little confusing, but hey, when you've got an entire staff of people taking care of you all at once, there's nothing really to complain about. I had the Mezcalita D'ananas Cocktail. Really well mixed without any particular ingredient overpowering the other. It had just the right amounts of smoke, sweet and alcohol tastes on my palette. Delicious drink! My wife and I shared three dishes, all of which came out quickly: 1) Quinoa, Roasted Beets, Avocado, Grated Carrots, Cilantro Salad - Generous portion size which could easily serve as a meal for one. Perhaps a tiny bit too salty for my tastes, but overall pretty good. 2) Potato Gratin Dauphinois - Classic French potato dish done perfectly. I've made this before and I couldn't have done better than what they served. 3) Broccoli, Spinach, and Green Curry Soup - Unique tasting soup (because of the curry) with a perfect texture...not too thick or thin. We really liked this. We also finished with Mousse au Chocolate (when in Paris...) This was a nice indulgent add-on. Rich and light. We would have liked more of the cream it was served on but overall really liked it. There was PLENTY more on the menu in every category for vegetarians so we could see coming back and having a completely different great experience with all new foods. Well done, Zinqué!

Yelp
Stopped here before a show at what's now the United Theater at the Ace. Sat at the bar and the staff was very attentive. Espresso Martini was delish . Salmon Tartine was perfectly balanced. Closed out with an Aperol Spritz which was great. Very nice option. Menu looks great and will come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
We came in here with our dog and they had a very beautiful interior and outdoor patio, the staff was very friendly not just to us but our dog frenchie! I got the Steak Frites and it was honestly soo good! I'm not sure what the sauce was but it meshed very well with the medium rare steak and the fries were absolutely crisp and flavorful with the sauces on the side. I would definitely recommend the frites! I definitely wanted more after finishing it. My girlfriend got the salmon but she said as the salmon and rice is good, it's smothered too much with vegetables and wanted more salmon. Regardless, we both loved our first experience here and enjoyed the food and scenery.

Yelp
I was going to a show nearby and ran into some friends. We had a little time to kill and one suggested going here. I ordered 3 tapas (which came out to $31). The Pork Belly Tacos, the Pepperoni Pizza and the Falafel Tapas. The best of the 3 was the Pepperoni Pizza. The Falafel Tapas was 3 small falafels with a bit of sauce. The worst by far was the Pork Belly Tacos. No flavor and cold and soggy. I paid by credit card and they have the tip set at 20%. Yes you can click custom and change it. The service wasn't that spectacular. My friends got there first. I had to run and get something from my car. I sat down and no one came to help me. So I had to flag them down. Then I got a menu. Then I had to flag them down to order. At that time I got water because I asked for it. Other staff brought me food. No one checked in on me. Then I had to flag them down to get the check. And they want 20% on top of overpriced tapas? The 3 tiny falafels was $10. While I was paying, I told the guy that the pork belly tacos were bad. His response was "well they won't be as good as the ones you get in K-town". That's the 20% service you get here??

Yelp
Went to Zinque for Drag Brunch and arrived to meet a party of 6. as soon as I did the server poked her head and mimosas for the table through a hole in the divider then disappeared for about 10 min after that. The next time I saw her she was asking us to re-situate our entire group so she could seat two new fellows. Then she disappeared for another 10 min after that. The drag show was happening so it's possible she was laying low to leave the stage for the performers. But when she finally returned she went straight to help the other fellows. And I didn't appreciate that. So I reminded her I was here first. And she told me not to worry everyone's order was going to the same place. So I waited for her to take the two fellows orders. By the time she came to take my order for some reason I just wasn't hungry anymore. She made a comment like - here I am and I see you're enjoying your mimosas. As if me being intoxicated was better than being treated with respect. So I was like - I didn't order that! I wanted food I don't drink on an empty stomach. And she then started fighting with me. So I told her to knock it off - but she kept going and going. So I may have cursed at her can't remember. Now she's trying to make it look like she didn't want to serve me - - so I got more upset and told her I would film her if she kept actin up. But I felt bad because it escalated quickly so I told her it's no big deal I just don't want to eat and don't make a stink out of it. Instead she decided to have a private meeting with some of the members of my party. Talking. About me behind my back in front of my face and the whole restaurant. And later went around to all the staff members pointing me out until I got tired of being stared down. So I went to the manager to explain to him myself. Basically the crew was sticking together and I can't blame them for that. But I came to eat not wait around 40 min. Literally got there at 2:20 - drag show was over at 3. By the time they got someone else to serve me the show was over. Make it make sense. Now I'm not against Zinque the food is good. And I've been going for about 5 years. And the Drag Show was great. But the gritty my way or the highway server had no clue. So here's a clue. Instead of getting defensive and arguing with the customers. Here's what to do. You sell food right? If not good service you sell food to pay your rent. So do that. The next time someone comes in. And you see them. Bring them a napkin set up and a water asap. Not 40 minutes later, and don't help other people before you help someone who's been sitting around waiting for you for 40 'min. I knew exactly what I wanted to order and came to eat and have mimosas not fight with your gritty server over doing their job. Two stars for my friends who got to eat and drink and have a good time before you ruined it for me and your tip.

Yelp
Service was prompt. Food was not worth the money or my tongue's wellbeing at all. French toast was dry and bready. Just flavorless. The side salad's mixed greens were sloppy dropping leaves- didn't feel fresh or like a crisp spring mix. The vinaigrette on the side salad was not properly mixed, took a bite and it was just salt crystals. The cappuccino was extremely dark espresso and the roast was too dark and too bitter to not overwhelm. Not enough foam, almost like a latte. Mediocre at best but couldn't even finish my meal. I was so hungry... so really pissed I couldn't palate this meal at all. What. Waste of money.

Yelp
Really like the ambiance here. Keep in mind though during these summer days, it can get muggy and hot in there. I'm not sure if they have ac but if they do you can't feel it much. My coworkers and I love coming here. Their burger is anything but mediocre. Big and juicy. I can appreciate when the meat itself is seasoned nicely, also you can never go wrong with a side of skinny fries. Their tuna tartare tartine is okay, pretty pricey for the small plate. But their olive cake is to die for, don't skip out on the dessert.
