"On Broadway near the Ace Hotel, a newcomer will bring craft cocktails and Parisian staples: Zinqué is set to open in a couple of weeks, anchoring a long-dormant space right next to the Ace Hotel’s busy theater. I'm familiar with Zinqué from its Venice, West Hollywood, and Newport Beach locations; the French-leaning cafes do a bit of everything — pastries and bread (the latter imported from Paris’s Poilâne Bakery) and coffee in the morning, salads and sandwiches for lunch, casual wine dinners with lots of mood lighting, and a weekend brunch that has been a big hit. This Fashion District–adjacent location plans a full bar and casual seating inside with low wraparound cafe chairs, scrubbed cement walls, lots of worn wood and brassy accents, plus a sidewalk patio out front and all-day hours from 7 a.m. to midnight (2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday); expect an opening most likely next week." - Farley Elliott
