"After completing stints at renowned establishments, Theresia Palmetzhofer returned home, and she has been running this charming restaurant with her dedicated team since 2016. Modernisation work saw the historical walls and structures of the 500-year-old building carefully preserved and given an inviting, upscale look. In addition, the property boasts a gorgeous terrace. The boss herself also heads up the kitchen, zeroing in on ingredients of regional origin to cook classic and regional dishes with a modern twist. These are organised into a pleasantly manageable seasonal menu. The wine list, too, has an Austrian flavour and includes a selection of natural wines." - Michelin Inspector

It is cosy and small restaurant with very nice service. The meals are rather fine dining using standard raw materials in an unorthodox way. Really good sense for pairing tastes and vegetables. I liked it.

This place is an oasis in the Austrian ocean salty schnitzel desert.. Compliments to the Chef, kitchen and the waiter! Great ice cream!!

What a great and friendly place, a warm welcome is always given, and the food........." you simply wont find better"! I can't recommend this restaurant enough, hidden away in a little town in the Austrian countryside, a huge detour on any journey just to sample the delights is well worth it !

I had a small complaint about my wineglass. The reaction of the, young, very friendly and competent waiter was great. New Glass of wine with an apology. We had a very nice Lunch.
