"French Truck Coffee is a burgeoning coffee empire based out of New Orleans, owned by Geoffrey Meeker. It has six locations, including one in a 100-year-old double shotgun house with rocking chairs on the front porch. Meeker oversees a barista training campus certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America, offering two or three classes a month. The Dryades Street café features a full-blown kitchen and an all-day breakfast menu, with items like a maple syrup–drizzled waffle sandwich.
