"Hailing from a distillery established in 1943 in the foothills of the Himalayas and now owned by a major Indian spirits company, this single malt is made from North Indian six-row barley and matures first in ex-bourbon American oak before finishing in European oloroso sherry casks. The unique Himalayan climate accelerates maturation, yielding a smooth, mellow whisky with aromas of balsamic vanilla and tropical fruit and palate notes of caramel, dried/stewed dark fruits, and warm spices like pepper and clove, finishing long and refined." - Devorah Lev-Tov
