"Located inside the Museum of Fine Arts, this is a very elegant, impressionist setting that is fitting for a museum restaurant. Just looking at the food alone would be worth a trip here; the plates are beautifully and aesthetically decorated. A sprig of rosemary here, some richly colored beets there: Vermeer would have been proud to eat at Le Jardinier. Creativity is a hallmark of the food, but it also tastes delicious. Starters like the burrata, with winter squash, pecan gremolata, and spiced red-wine poached pears will leave you eager for seconds. Main courses like the chestnut agnolotti with wild mushroom and toasted hazelnuts remind you of the emphasis the chef puts on farm-to-table cuisine, and just how many fine ingredients are sourced from vegetables and plants. Go for the greens—you're bound to be extremely satisfied." - Charu Suri, Diana Oates
