"At Jordan Vineyard and Winery in Healdsburg, customers can bypass the wine club membership and accumulate points in the Jordan Estate Rewards program at the rate of three points per dollar when they buy Jordan products in person at the winery, online, or by phone. A generous 3,000 points sign-up bonus gives customers a kickstart. Points can be redeemed for private tastings, culinary events like the annual Bastille Day Brunch, and overnight stays at the French-inspired chateau on the estate. Similar to an airline loyalty program, Jordan Estate Rewards gives enrollees the chance to earn silver, gold, and platinum status by hitting specific spend thresholds. The higher the status, the less cash required for points redemptions—the Bastille Day Brunch, for example, requires standard loyalty members to pay a fee of $150 in addition to points—and the greater breadth of redemption opportunities (previously reserved for wine club members)."
