"Shibucho is possibly the most polarizing restaurant in L.A. , but the quality of the food is almost never in question. The chef's buri (adult yellowtail) is famously steak-like and cut to perfection, and he (blessedly) includes temaki in the omakase. His uni, often sourced from nearby Santa Barbara and served in temaki, is unmatched, as is the sea eel nigiri that materializes toward the end.
