"From the outside, Tarasco's looks like any other taqueria on Federal Boulevard, squat and nondescript, wedged in between auto shops and check cashing stores. It looks like your average taqueria from the inside, too, albeit an especially homey one: yellow and red with lots of colorful folk art—ceramics and masks and humorous signs in Spanish—and souvenir postcards beneath glass-topped tables. But one glance at the menu, and you’ll see things a little differently.
