15 Best Bars in Houston

"Bad News, a classy second-floor saloon, has a long wooden bar, dark wood, sparkling chandeliers, vinyl tunes, and a balcony over Main Street in downtown. The entrance is unmarked; look for The Nightingale Room, its downstairs neighbor, then head through an adjacent street-level entrance and up a set of stairs to a door designated with a fox. Whatever you order, you're in for a sold drink, whether it's a classic like a Manhattan or something more unique, like Ticking Boxes, made with Riesling, vodka, spiced guava shrub, lime juice, and tonic." - Marcy de Luna
