"This is a dark and cozy tavern with a touch of old Hollywood style, Art Deco nods, and an unpretentious vibe. Each cocktail is a dream; try the High Horse made with dry gin, lemon, orange, peach, vanilla, and amaro; or the vast array of bourbons, whiskeys, and wines from the Medoc region in France to Napa Valley. The beer selections range from fruited Berliners to local Texas IPAs, and also imports from as far as Belgium yet very well priced too. While there is no tasting menu, the American fare like burgers and fries are everyday dishes done with great class, using the freshest ingredients (it shows). The Elvis Cookie with peanut butter, banana, and bacon is an example of the playful menu with twists on classics." - Charu Suri, Diana Oates
