Where Was ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Filmed?

"The Kaufmann Desert House, playing the home of the Victory Project’s leader Frank (Chris Pine), is one of the film’s star locations. The trailer shows a party where Shelley (Gemma Chan) welcomes newcomers to the Project against the backdrop of the San Jacinto mountains. Located at 470 West Vista Chino in the Little Tuscany district just north-west of Palm Springs, the Kaufmann House is a famous creation built in 1946 by Richard Neutra. Its combination of metal, glass, and Utah stone construction was much-copied, while its use of patios and inclusion of a panoramic “Gloriette Room” made it an exemplar of indoor-outdoor living. Previous owners include Barry Manilow and socialite Nelda Linsk, who was captured here in Slim Aarons’ famous photograph Poolside Gossip in 1970. In 2008, Christie’s auctioned the house as a work of art for $25 million."
