11 Best BBQ Places in Houston

"Former Rice University football player Greg Gatlin and his parents launched their eponymous barbecue business in 2010. In 2015, the restaurant was upgraded from its original 700-square-foot digs in the Heights area to a 4,200-square-foot location in Oak Forest with seating for 150. In the new space, Gatlin churns out smoky brisket, two different pork ribs (St. Louis and baby back), and three kinds of sausage (traditional, spicy, and venison), plus a host of Louisiana-influenced sides." - Charu Suri
