"Off the 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce, the 3.3-mile Vasquez Rocks Trail is a loop around extraterrestrial rock formations immortalized by hundreds of films and TV shows–every Star Trek aficionado will recognize “Kirk's Rock” immediately (and may even set their phasers to stun). The trail is a moderately easy jaunt, and the geological drama is undefeated. The path is out in the open–bring sun protection and plenty of water–and rattlers are said to sun themselves along the path. Note: the park is closed every Monday." - Maxwell Williams
