"Let’s start big picture. What’s the vibe here?Daffin Park is an 80-acre recreational park on the east side of Savannah with plenty to do. Athletic park goers will enjoy the rubberized trail (perfect for runners) that outlines the perimeter, as well as the park’s multiple courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball. During fall and spring, local sports teams use the fields for football and soccer; and there’s plenty of giant oak trees offering quiet shade for picnics. Daffin is also home to Grayson Stadium, home of the city’s minor league baseball team, Savannah Sand Gnats. Any standout features or must-sees?A second, shorter trail winds around Daffin Lake, which features a fountain, park benches, and a few turtles. Was it easy to get around?If you decide to drive there, exiting the park might feel a bit like navigating a maze - be sure to pay attention to directional arrows as some roads out to Victory Drive are entrance-only. That sounds cool.
