"The Hotel Chelsea, of Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan fame, reopened in 2022 after an 11-year closure. New digs include the lobby bar, renovated rooms, and a new food and beverage program. A rooftop spa, fitness center, and French-American restaurant, Café Chelsea, have since opened, too. Although the legendary creatives of its past are gone, an edginess remains, as do a handful of permanent residents who were grandfathered into their apartments, some of whom may actually have been, you know, there."
