"Give us the big picture: What’s the vibe of the place, what’s it like?When Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened its doors in 2017 it became an eye-catching star in Atlanta's skyline. The unique roof's design hearkens to a falcon wing (appropriate given that the football team it's home to is the Falcons) and the retractable roof allows them to change the vibe in just a few minutes. The venue is impressive upon entering thanks to its stunning windows that give you an amazing view of the city as you descend and ascend the escalators. The awe is continued when you enter the stadium's seating area with excellent visibility and sound. What kinds of events can we see here?Mercedes-Benz Stadium is home to an NFL team (the Atlanta Falcons) and an MSL team (Atlanta United). Atlanta United games are particularly rowdy with fans that get super into it which creates an electric atmosphere. There are also musical performances throughout the year. How are the seats?The seats can go quite high and while not super comfortable up in the nosebleed section, the visibility is always pretty clear. Good for kids?Kids are allowed at the NFL and MSL games—it's up to you whether you want to bring them. Anything in particular that makes this place special, from the programming to a unique feature it has?The thrill of an Atlanta United game (which typically occurs February through October) is unbeatable. There are official clubs that get real into the action (think wigs, face paint, etc) and the excitement in the air is palpable—especially when those goals are scored. If we’re going to be in town, what—and who—do you think this is best for? Mercedes-Benz Stadium is known for being stylish yet approachable as far as stadiums go. No event is ever going to be that cheap, but once you're in the stadium the experience is enjoyable (unless your team loses) thanks to myriad concession stands that include local vendors and affordable beverage options." - Lia Picard
