"I stayed in a family-friendly farmhouse Airbnb in Londonderry, Vermont that brought all my Vermont farmhouse fantasies to life: the decor leans modern farmhouse with soft, comfortable couches, long wood tables for meals or games, and a library stocked with books, games, and kids' toys, so boredom felt impossible. The spacious kitchen, outdoor grill, and large dining table made cooking collaborative and fun (the listing showed a starting price of $1,395), and the property offers a private pond where our kids spent an enchanted afternoon playing with a frog, a solid sledding hill and a barn/garage stocked with sleds for winter, plus a firepit perfect for s’mores and stargazing. I loved waking early with coffee to watch spectacular sunrises and fog rolling over the trees; bedrooms are nicely spaced apart with four and a half bathrooms so each couple had privacy, the primary bedroom is enormous with a bathroom that lets you literally soak in the view, and the third floor is magical for kids with a large room featuring four built-in bed nooks each with its own reading light." - Dana Kravis
