"What were your first impressions when you arrived? All Day Baby, a retro-inspired diner, is the sunny, all-day restaurant we wish was on every corner. The interiors and stylish window scribbles give nods to Googie local classics like Norm’s and Apple Pan, but the beachy wood furniture and stylish typefaces on the menu remind you exactly where you are: ultra-hip Silverlake circa 2020. What’s the crowd like? This is a boisterous bunch of brunchers and all-day eaters that leave you wondering if there's anyone in LA with an actual 9-to-5 job. What should we be drinking? Cocktails skew toward soda jerk twists, like Negroni floats, sarsaparilla slushies, and Suntory-spiked sweat teas. Main event: the food. Give us the lowdown—especially what not to miss.
