"Despite its name, this City of Hamilton dive bar isn't a bistro (no French-style food here), nor is it near the beach (it’s right on Front Street). Sure, it does brisk lunch business and offers inexpensive entrees at dinner, but what “The Beach,” as it’s colloquially called, is really known for its lively crowds who stay late drinking beer, frozen drinks, cocktails, and shots until the early hours since it’s one of the few spots that stays open until 3 a.m. Along with Bermuda's longest happy hour, when all bottled beers and rail drinks cost $8 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Beach offers nightly drink specials that typically keep the party going until the bar closes at 3 a.m. Its frozen drinks, such as the dark n' stormy or an Aperol Spritz, are popular, as are its signature cocktails like the Bermuda Cedar Smoked Old Fashioned, which is made with orange and rosemary-infused Bulleit bourbon, sugar, and bitters, served in a Bermuda cedar-smoked glass." - David LaHuta
