"Mid City Pizza was founded in 2013 by Rand Owens, who took over a Banks Street pizza parlor formerly known as Lazaro’s. It became known for its thin-crust pizza, colorful artwork, and old-school arcade games like NBA Jam and Simpsons Arcade. Owens expanded with a second location, MCP Uptown, and bought Banks Street Bar.
