"After a brief stint as Madera 83, Tangierino (83 Main St., Boston) has returned to its Moroccan identity: it originally opened over 15 years earlier, was briefly rebranded as a Spanish tapas bar, and now owner Samad Naamad says, “It’s back and it’s better,” promising to “transport you to the distant and mystical horizon of Morocco” and to “create again an escape of a lifetime that will enchant and whisk you away.” I note that the restaurant provides Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine to the Charlestown area and that patrons can also smoke hookah in Koullshi, the property's basement lounge." - Terrence Doyle
