"Melanie Wade, owner of Golda Kombucha, has formed a fermented umbrella company she’s calling Cultured South. This also happens to be the name of Wade’s forthcoming kombucha taproom at the Lee + White development in West End. She plans to open the taproom and fermented products marketplace later this spring. Cultured South’s 6000-square-foot marketplace and production facility will include Wade’s popular fermented tea Gold Kombucha and Pure Abundance Cashew Cheese (raw, organic, dairy-, soy- gluten-free) along with other fermented products. The taproom will serve kombucha cocktails, floats, and flights and offer DIY kombucha and fermentation classes as well as yoga." - Beth McKibben
