"Just a year after Carlos Salgado took the reins at the all-day King’s Highway restaurant inside the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, that arrangement has been called off: Salgado announced on Twitter that as of December he has not been involved and that with the current restaurant still operating on the property “neither the food, drink or experience represent our work, our voice, or our values.” He says he will miss his time there and wishes the staff well, and the Ace Hotel says it wishes him the best as he refocuses on his other projects." - Farley Elliott
