"I visited Fisher Loft, the new bar and restaurant reimagined from the Burritt Room, and found it completely transformed from a dim speakeasy into a light, fabulously floral space with fresh paint, midcentury furniture, and granny prints that works equally well for tea and scones or cocktails and baby burgers. Under executive chef William Marquardt it offers an all-day menu—breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between—including familiar items like Caesar salads and club sandwiches plus enchanting additions: an Afternoon Tea for two with finger sandwiches and scones on three-tiered trays, stiff cocktails that pair well with a trio of burgers (each under $20), and for supper elevated options such as oeufs mayonnaise, smoked salmon, filet mignon, and caviar. It's open seven days a week (breakfast 7–9 a.m.; all-day menu and bar noon–10 p.m.)." - Becky Duffett
