Adams Morgan’s Johnny Pistolas Welcomes New Latin Venture This Fall | Eater DC

"Adams Morgan’s fixture for tacos and tequila since 2014, this multi-level spot is undergoing a fall transformation as its ground floor becomes Mi Pana, a Latin gastro pub, and the mezzanine turns into the speakeasy-style Riff Raff Room, while the second level continues to sling its LA-styled taqueria street foods and tequila and the top floor remains a dedicated party and event space. The two-part newcomer, led by hospitality veteran Jeff Diaz and award-winning bartender Jon Schott, debuts Friday, September 19, with renovations proceeding without a pause in service and opening night festivities featuring live entertainment and a Champagne toast." - Tierney Plumb
