"Former Yonaka owner Ramir DeCastro’s Robata En in Chinatown describes his restaurant at one part local and one part global. The seasonally changing menu brings back some Yonaka favorites such as crispy Brussels sprouts, miso buttered corn, and avocado nigiri. Other favorites include shishito peppers grilled with Binchotan charcoal, Jidori chicken served with pickled veggies and house made bread, yuzu tea brined ribs, and miso black cod. Robatayaki dishes, a sashimi platter, and an omakase menu that comes with an appetizer, sashimi salad, sushi, sashimi, a cold dish, a warm dish, and dessert, served with rice and soup, make up the menu. The restaurant also features a range of Scotch and Japanese, and American whiskies behind the bar." - Susan Stapleton
