Detroit-Style Pizzeria Emmy Squared Opens on the Upper East Side in NYC - Eater NY
"The Upper East Side is the latest recipient of Emmy Squared’s Detroit-style pies with a big following. The mini-chain opens Tuesday with a menu that brings along favorites like pepperoni pizza and that saucy pretzel bun burger, as well as some new dishes such as the Good Paulie pizza with caramelized onions, sausage, and smoked mozzarella, plus waffle fries topped with truffle cream and truffle sausage. The full menu is below. The 1,400-square-foot space seats 78 inside at 1426 Third Avenue at 81st Street, with outdoor space to come. This is the sixth location of Emmy Squared, the Williamsburg-born square pizzeria from Matt Hyland and Emily Hyland. It’s part of a larger expansion plan for the brand that hopes to bring the concept all along the East Coast.
