"Located in the Contemporary’s Laguna Gloria sculpture garden in Tarrytown at 3809 West 35th Street, this cafe opened on Thursday, February 4 and offers dine-in and takeout—museum tickets are not required for takeout, and curbside pickup is available by phone, online orders can be placed, and there is a walk-up window. The shortened menu mirrors the original restaurant and highlights grazing boards of cheeses and charcuterie, sandwiches (including a tuna melt), loaded toasts, salads, cups of soup, spreads such as pimento cheese and tuna dip, sides like pickles, and pastries; gluten-free bread is available and many items can be customized with eggs, avocado, meats, or a smoked fish dip. Drinks include coffee and espresso, matcha, lemonade, and iced tea, and the cafe will add beer and wine once it secures a liquor license. Outdoor tables are available for on-site dining; the museum operates via timed-ticket reservations with masks required and offers members a 10% discount. The cafe occupies the former Epicerie museum space and is run by co-owner Rosemary Ewald—who began the business as a 2016 delivery service focused on cheese and charcuterie boards—and her husband Austin, who joined in 2019 after culinary roles at Grizzelda’s and Jacoby’s. Hours are Thursday–Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Nadia Chaudhury
