"Founded by furloughed hotel food-and-beverage managers Michael Youssef and Sam Kaiser (who met at the Hilton Anatole), this ghost-kitchen concept operating out of CloudKitchens in the Trinity Groves area focuses on Northeastern-style cheesesteaks and other hearty sandwiches. The menu also offers creative twists on calzones and indulgent items like mac-and-cheese muffins and al pastor burritos. Wanting to replicate the quality of sandwiches they missed from back home, the duo emphasize real, fresh-shaved meat and developed their own cheese sauce inspired by the popularity of Cheese Whiz.
