Austin Taco Chain Torchy’s Tacos Opens Its First Downtown Restaurant | Eater Austin

"An Austin-born taco chain opening its first downtown location inside the Northshore mixed-use development at 110 San Antonio Street. The fast-casual menu will include tacos such as fajitas, fried avocado, jerk chicken, ahi tuna, and migas, along with queso, salsa, and chips; it’s not yet clear whether this location will serve beer and margaritas. The restaurant will preview the space with a free taco party the day before opening—offering free tacos, drinks, chips, and giveaways from 5–8 p.m.—and features bar-height tables with sliding tabletops designed by Drophouse Design.
