"Located at 237 Newbury St. in the former Scoozi space, the new Serafina Back Bay is the city’s second Boston outpost of the New York–based chain, joining its Financial District location. The restaurant uses the chain’s familiar gold and yellow design accents—designed by Petra Hausberger of Somerton Park Interiors, who also designed the first Boston Serafina—with brass lighting, an oak bar, and vintage photos on the walls, plus two levels of patio seating in seasonal months. The menu closely resembles Serafina Downtown but adds a handful of location-specific dishes, including sea bass crudo, artichoke and avocado tartare, tortellini carbonara, quinoa and mushroom tortino, and a potato and sausage pizza; beer, wine, and cordials are also served. Serafina Back Bay will operate seven days a week for lunch and dinner (11 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday–Wednesday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Thursday–Saturday) with the bar open until 1 a.m., and weekend brunch will be added soon. Both Boston locations are owned by Seth Greenberg, with executive chef Christopher Cahill at the helm." - Dana Hatic
