"The Original BBQ Supply Co., located in Rogers Park and owned by Jared Leonard of Budlong Hot Chicken fame, is undergoing another round of renovations after its reopening last March. Previously known as Rub's Backcountry Smokehouse, the current focus is remodeling the kitchen. They aim to reopen by Thanksgiving. Leonard has moved to Denver and has not returned a message. He recently closed the Lincoln Square location of the Budlong and opened another in Evanston at Northwestern University." - Daniel Gerzina
