Dave’s Hot Chicken opens Friday, July 2, with fiery tenders and sliders | Eater Vegas

"Opening July 2 on the westside, the new drive-thru at 9040 W. Sahara Ave.—easy to spot across Fort Apache Road from Village Square—brings Dave’s Hot Chicken’s fast-casual menu to Las Vegas, featuring hot chicken tenders and sliders with sides such as house-made kale slaw, creamy mac n’ cheese, and crispy French fries. The spot offers seven spice levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper (the Reaper level requires a signed waiver), with each heat level using a different spice blend, and plans to be open daily from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. The concept was launched in a 2017 Los Angeles parking-lot pop-up by Arman Oganesyan, former Bouchon chef Dave Kopushyan, and brothers Tommy and Gary Rubenyan; they teamed up with Wetzel’s Pretzels co-founder Bill Phelps and producer John Davis in 2019 to begin franchising, with 30 locations opening this year alone." - Susan Stapleton
