East Nashville’s Treehouse Restaurant Names New Executive Chef Jeremy Britt - Eater Nashville
"Jeremy Britt fills the role of executive chef at East Nashville’s cozy and quaint Treehouse restaurant. A graduate of Secchia Culinary in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Britt has spent time previously in such Nashville kitchens as 12 South destination Urban Grub, Adele’s in the Gulch, and newly opened Diskin Cider. Treehouse owner Matt Spicher describes Britt as a bit like Maverick from Top Gun — “a smile on his face, and ready to take risks for a shot at greatness.” Britt is building his team and making the menu his own at the well established restaurant, which has claimed two Eater Nashville Chef of the Year winners over the last five years (one reader’s choice and one editor’s choice). The Treehouse Restaurant, located in the Five Points neighborhood at 1011 Clearview Avenue, has been a constantly evolving hot spot since its original opening in early 2014.
