"The city's inspectional department has been documenting and forwarding complaints about noncompliance with outdoor dining rules in the North End—many submitted via 311—including tables placed less than six feet apart, inconsistent mask use by patrons and staff, encroachment into public spaces beyond approved patio extensions, and excessive noise.
