"Penny’s Noodle Shop is back in business in Wrigleyville, reclaiming its space at 3400 N. Sheffield Avenue after nearly six years. Originally at the corner of Sheffield and Roscoe for 23 years, it had moved to 950 W. Diversey Parkway before closing in April. Now, the original crews from the Wicker Park and Lakeview locations have returned, with Areerat Potikul and her sister running the restaurant. Known for affordable Thai noodles and soups, Penny's was a pioneer in the Chicago area. It still operates in Oak Park, while the Northfield location is under new management. The Wrigleyville spot is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday." - Ashok Selvam
