"The newer East Austin American Italian restaurant added what is basically brunch to its weekend lineup (though it refers to it as lunch) in May. The menu includes lots of raw bar and conservas, such as dressed oysters, mussels in absinthe butter, the mushroom marsala toast with optional chile crisp-fried egg, and limoncello doughnuts.
