"This Montrose restaurant’s mission to showcase street foods around the world extends to its weekend brunch. Held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Traveler’s Cart serves taiyaki, fish-shaped waffles filled with custard that call back to Japan, Persian French toast, Chinese breakfast dumplings, and bright green pillowy pandan souffle pancakes topped with brown sugar boba. Though simple, the breakfast sandwich (a pork sausage patty, folded egg, chives, American cheese, piquillo aioli, and bacon jam on an English muffin) is an instant classic. Its full cocktail menu is available, including frozen mango passionfruit mojitos, an icy pandan cream Vietnamese coffee infused with brandy and coffee liqueur, and the fun colonche (tequila, prickly pear syrup, lemon juice, and soda), which is served in a plastic bag with a straw. On nice weather days, definitely opt for its private patio. It’s offers a little bit of a getaway." - Brittany Britto Garley
