"I liked Parlor Pizza Bar’s new River North outpost for solid pies in a spacious, casual setting where the simpler pizzas shine: the classic Margherita and the pepperoni-topped Sgt. Pepper are winners on sturdy crusts. Salads are surprisingly deft—the antipasto chopped salad is a substantial meal by itself, generously outfitted with prosciutto, pepperoni, artichoke hearts, provolone, and firm little potatoes—and desserts include a tacolato of banana fudge gelato sealed in a double chocolate shell." - Jeffy Mai
