"Located at 25 West Houston, at Mercer Street, the update from John McDonald’s Mercer Street Hospitality features chef Preston Clark at the helm, with dishes like mini pigs in a blanket ($14 for six); a saucy hamachi crudo ($24) with cracklin’ and Thai chiles; a grilled pork chop with a mushroom and cipollini white wine sauce ($48); and “hangover pasta,” with ham, bacon, egg, and pecorino ($26). Cocktails are listed by spirits ($11 to $19) and an extensive selection of wine comes from around the world.
